She is friends with dragons and humans alike. She will do anything to aid her dragon and human allies alike. This classes her a kind-hearted person who has a smile that almost never leaves her face, but that causes her to look creepy in a serious battle. Despite this, she is generally silent and shy, only approaching those she is close to, like Osiris or any dragon she personally raised. Bio: The Joltingson bloodline are aristocrats who have dedicated their lives to researching dragons, big and small, rare or common, alike. However, they have always viewed dragons as vicious and violent beasts, and tend to avoid them, or observe them from afar. Even though they have mastered and learnt the dragon language for emergency purposes, they still fear these beings. Otto was a miracle who changed this all. She adopted Osiris' egg from the abandoned pile to raise it as her own, believing that deep in her heart, not all dragons are tyrannical like her family had depicted. When it hatched, she decided to show it to her parents. Initially, her parents were panicking, until they realised it was but a harmless child. Gradually, Osiris grew into a completely harmless creature which Otto's parents have learnt to accept. From her, her bloodline has learnt that the best way to learn about dragons was to be their friends. Despite this, she soon finds that she wasn't the first Joltingson to tame a dragon. Her ancestor who has the same name as her was the first... Apperance: Otto, despite her age, stands at a height of 1.34 metres high. Her slender, curveless figure and completely flat chest render her child-like yet simply adorable. Her long, straight, pink, hime-cut reaches 4 centimetres off the ground. Her skin is completely fair. She has heterochromia - her left eye being green, the other red. Her outfit is akin to a Japanese serafukku for unknown reasons. It is black with a white ribbon. -------------------------------------- Dragon App Name: Osiris Gender: Male Type of dragon: Skywing Dragon Personality: Osiris is a brave and daring Draconian beast who is loyal to Otto. He will resort to anything to aid his friend. Although his attacks are but pure melee wing slashes and gusts, he is willing to risk his soul for his allies. His heart truly does match his size. However, despite being a rather tame dragon, he has a short temper and often gets into fights with possible rivals or foes. He shares a similiar philosophy as Otto, that all are good unless tainted by sin. Yes desu, red and green eyes. I did that on purpose desu. Most of the time people view him as cute and funny, bordering on annoying. Occasionally though it seems as if he has hit a brick wall, this is usually brought on by thoughts of his deceased parents. During these times his attitude can be anywhere from sobbing uncontrollably to complete immobilized silence. It usually takes a half an hour to an hour for him to snap out of these spells. Kobalt is very attached to his dragon, and would do anything for her. He looks up to her like an older sister or possibly even a mother figure. Being very young, Kobalt is pretty innocent involving the world around him but he understands the goal of the group. His father and mother were both professors that specialized in dragonology. Since birth Kowen has never had a true home, he has always been traveling to exotic places with his parents to research and study dragons. Kobalt didnāt mind the traveling; he loved the adventure that was so big in his life. Of course all the traveling prevented him from having very many friends, so as a substitute he befriended his parentsā dragons, for they were Dragon Raisers as well as professors, as well as the many other dragons he came into contact with. At the age of 6, Kobaltās parents took him to an Abandoned Dragon Egg Cave. Having him search around, Kobalt picked an egg from the bunch. Within a few weeks it hatched and he was the proud owner of a Pink Dragon. At first he was offset by the fact his dragon was a girl and that it was pink, for he was a young boy still, but soon grew to love his dragon in which he named Venus. For a year his parents had the family settle down so that they could teach Kobalt the wonders of magic and the skills for raising a dragon. Just a few weeks after his 7[sup]th[/sup] birthday a hoard of Neglected Dragons attacked his home. Fending them off, Kobaltās parents perished. Kobalt escaped death by riding off with Venus, clutching a small box his parents had given him right before they left for their final battle. Now it is 3 years later and while he is still young, Kobalt has learned to survive in a harsh world. He has grown and power and is ready to fight.[/color] [color=#0000cd][b]Appearance:[/b] Kobalt stands at about 4ā11ā and while not overly muscular he is very lean and toned due to living in the wild for the past few years. Kobalt has dusty blonde hair and his face is splashed with bits of freckles. He always wears the same outfit, cargo pants with many pockets to hold his measly amount of possessions, a green long sleeve shirt, a blue sleeveless coat, and a small backpack. Kobalt has brilliant blue eyes that are always filled with questions and excitement. He has various scars up and down his arms, as well as on his face, from run-ins with wildlife and dragons in the years he has been camped out in the wild. Kobalt always has a pair of daggers sheathed at his hips. These daggers had been in the box his parents had given him. They are enchanted by the magic of a Magi Dragon. They are resistant to magic and fire; they are never dull and are impossible to break. Along with the daggers, Kobalt received a necklace woven from the hairs of a Daydream Dragon. As long as he is wearing the necklace Kobalt cannot be put to sleep by magic and he will not be plagued by nightmares of any kind. Occasionally, Kobalt will be seen with a wooden staff strapped to his back. Venus is a very caring and nursing dragon, she is very likable as long as she feels you are not threatening to her or to her hatchlings(i.e. Kobalt). If a situation seems to dangerous for Venus's liking she will scoop up Kobalt and her allies and fly off with them until out of danger; this behavior just highlights the intense protective maternal instinct she has. [/color] [color=#ee82ee]Venus is very smart, but in her short life she has not had time to study or learn anything about her race or the world around. She acts on observation and instinct alone. While very intuitive, she still lacks the knowledge needed to be count as 'smart'. She has of course learned the language of humans through communication with Kobalt her entire life, but her knowledge of the dragon language is severely lacking. With all this combined she is not a very get diplomat with enemy dragons and would rather fight off a foe than reason with him.[/color] [color=#ee82ee]While in battle, Venus tends to enchant her male opponents into an infatuation with her, whether they be dragon or human. This enchantment does not necessarily cause love but definitely fascination and a reason to pause, this gives her enough time to get in an attack. She is ferocious in battle, caring nothing for her own welfare. Venus also has the ability to create a thick fog that encases the surrounding area. This fog is a pale pink and greatly impairs her enemies's sight. This fog also smells strongly of rose, completely destroying her enemies's sense of smell while trapped in the fog as well. Venus herself and her allies have resistance to the fog and are barely affected by it. Here's my app. Character Name: Zayne Seras Corallel Gender: Male Personality: Zayne is a quiet, mature individual. He was the oldest child in his village, and due to this he is often viewed as the "older brother." He is easy-going and caring, and empathizes rather well with younger children. He also gets along well with younger children, often teasing them with light-hearted fun. Zayne is also a humble person, never viewing himself as above others, and he has taught the view of humility to his dragon partner, Tsunami Soar. His outer self is displayed as a quiet, protective-of-others, brave individual, and he and his dragon will step to the front to keep those near him under his protection. On the inside, he still has a deep desire to protect others, but it is a stronger desire, as he does not want a repeat of what he had to witness the day he had to flee his village. Bio: Zayne is a 19-year old Dragon owner. As the last surviving member of a coastal clan that cared for many breeds of coast and water-oriented dragons, he was viewed as a blessed child by his elders due to a particular incident when he turned 15. On his 15th birthday, Zayne was walking along the coastline when he saw two pairs of gigantic blue wings off in the distance. A brave and rash soul at the time, he ran towards the sight at full speed, and slowed to a complete stop as he came upon the sight: a pair of Tsunami Wyverns that seemed very worried about their only egg. Zayne slowly walked up to the wyverns, and his humility took over as he gave respect to these beings capable of creating the very force of their namesake. After a brief glance at each other, the two Tsunami Wyverns entrusted their only egg to him before they flew off, never to be seen again. Zayne hurried home with this egg, and took care of the being inside with the utmost care. As the years passed, Zayne grew accustomed to being a Dragon owner. He immersed himself in local dragon literature; familiarizing himself with all breeds, including the incredibly legendary Guardian of Nature. When he turned 19, however, his village was caught unaware by a swarm of Neglected Dragons, a forbidden breed, and amidst the chaos only Zayne and his dragon were the only ones to survive. He now vows to do his best to stop this swarm of Neglected Dragons, and protect any and every innocent soul from the wrath of a forbidden breed. Zayne's clothing consists of his village's traditional garb, self-modified for his own purposes. He wears a light-colored tee, with a red and black jacket draped over it. He has modified his pants to make them into something akin to jeans for comfort and ease of motion. He wears a pair of boots that allow him to travel over shifting terrain. Strangely enough, due to being called a "blessed child" by the elders of his coastal village, everything he wears on his immediate person seems to posses a light-blue hue that blends in with whatever color the original material was. -------------------------------------- [b]Dragon App Name: Tsunami Soar (after a dragon I actually have on my scroll on the site)[/b] [b]Gender: Male[/b] [b]Type of dragon: Tsunami Dragon[/b] [b]Personality: Tsunami Soar is, in a word, humble. Despite his large, intimidating size, he is actually quite gentle. Due to being by Zayne's side for nearly every possible day since his hatching, Soar is actually quite intelligent despite his relatively young age, as the coastal tribal writing was done in a way for coastal dragons to understand, allowing Soar to read relatively proficiently without any prior knowledge of human language.[/b] [b]Along with humility, Tsunami Soar inherited from his master the sense of duty to protect innocents from any and all forms of danger. Should innocents be threatened, he will summon forth a vicious tsunami with ease, decimating enemies. She was born into a Family of 2 Nebula Dragons, Her Mother, Seiria, and her Brother Deinarva, but unlike either of them, She was the Size of an average Human, and had many characteristics of a Human, but a lot of Characteristics of a Nebula Dragon as well. Not easily impressed, startled, or excited. He somehow still manages to be accepted in society. He is friendly, but may seem indifferent about it. He will share his opinion whether you like it or not, and will be more than happy to point out the flaws of your own. However through the bitterness he can be emotional. Typically in a bad situation, he will think on how to help his dragon and himself first, then anyone else. He likes to get out and do stuff opposed to sit back and listen. He has a strong belief that no matter what anyone else says he is always right and will stick to it. Even if it means he has to go it alone. Unlike the rest of his family, he is not hostile. He is also very sarcastic, but not the point of silliness. Bio: Joseph was born into the Veren family. The Verens were thieves, crooks, and liars. They seemed rugged and harsh. At night they would go about with their vandalism and theft. In some cases, murder. Joseph however, when he was only 4 years old stumbled upon an egg, he thought was a stone worth money. Upon taking it back he realized the blue/silver "Stone" was an egg. From that egg came a Royal Blue whelp. He raised it in secret through stages of Whelp, Wyvern, Drake and Dragon. When Joseph was 13 he abondoned his family and life as a criminal to live with Autriem. His best friend and Dragon. Apperance: (I would assume weapons would go here as well?) Joseph has dark blue eyes, the same as his dragon. His hair is long and silver, pulled back into a ponytail. He has a touch of a small beard, barely noticable. Joseph is very slim for a 22 year old male. He is around 135 lbs, and is about 5'10". His attire includes a leather vest and leather leggings, , with animal fur showing on the side of the thighs. Both vest and leggings are dyed a dark blue. On one shoulder is a single Monnion(Kind of a light-armor shoulderpad) also died blue. He also has made bandana from blue cloth to cover from his nose down. On his back is a quiver packed with arrows and a simple crossbow. He dons a long silver cloak to his back which bears two small blades held together by a chain with spiked hilts. -------------------------------------- [b]Dragon App Name: Autriem[/b] [b]Gender: Male [/b] [b]Type of dragon: Royal Blue[/b] [b]Personality: Autriem is like Joseph, very opinionated, but typically the same opinion as Joseph. Knows how to get out of a pinch and has Joseph's back and his back only. He is slightly more hostile and likes to taunt and talk smack.
