WARNING THIS THREAT CONTAINS HIGH AMOUNTS OF VANILLA'S!

I must say it's been a while since I last posted a card here. Hence I will return with an archetype, and a special one at that.
Most people here know what Vanilla's are, but let me explain for the few who don't, Vanilla's are basicly Normal Monsters. They are mostly considered as bad cards as they have no effects at all and only a text describing something about them, so they are mostly used in combination with cards like 'Rescue Rabbit' to make quick Xyzs and such.
Personally I think they are an really underrater type of cards, hence I made an archetype consisting solely out of Vanilla's, as such they may be harder to rate and will most likely have high stats for its lvl.

The "Illucian(dii)" archetype will consist out 3 kinds of cards: "Illuciandii" monsters, who are students, teachers or warriors in the city of Knowledge with the same name. "Illucian" monsters, which are mostly golems created as study projects and/or the defence for the city. And supporting Spell/Trap Cards.

As probebly noone read that, lets go onto the cards.

Even while he was still young, he showed extraordinary overal knowledge and talent in the arts of psychokinesis. And such, at the age of 10, he was invited into the 'Illucian School of Psychic Arts'. Here he trained to control his powers and became one of the more powerfull psychics in 'Illuciandii'.

Trump Card 2

An ancient warrior from a distant land. It is rumored that he was the only person ever to have entered Illuciandii without being specialized in a field of knowledge. But his knowledge of combat skills in knows no equal. He serves as leader of Illuciandii's defensive forces and prevers to live isolated from the others.

Both of them used to be knights for Kingdoms long gone, but when their kingdoms where disbanned and no longer needed, they started wandering, gathering wisdom as time passed. Untill they where invited to Illuciandii, now they are the leaders of the Defensive Counsil.

Born a simple servant, he spend most of his childhood serving the king. He spend his spare time studying the king's head magician, and secretly practiced what he'd learned in his quarters. Aged 16 he became an accomplished practicer of the dark magic. On which he recieved an invitation to join the 'Illucian School of Magic'. Now he's the head of the Illucian Councel of Magic.

A golem made from snow and ice by a student of the 'Illucian School of Alchemy'. Though to its weakness to the elements and rather frail structure, it is considered one of the weaker types of Golems, a C-class.

Img made by Hp Doom
Created as a collaberation project of both the Magic Counsel and the Alchemic Counsel of Illuciandii. This creature is a master in hand-to-hand combat and serves as a gatekeeper of Illuciandii. It's power equals that of a B-Class Golem.

Img made by Wanderley (Buddha.)
One of the few golems created by the 'Illucian School of Machines & Mechanics' this golem is specialized in its defensive properties, creating almost impenitrable barriers from light around it. It however cannot attack, and when something is inside it's projective barrier it can do nothing about it, thus it is considered a B-Class Golem.

A Golem created by the senior students of the 'Illucian School of Alchemy'. It's powered by an eternally burning flame and it's the most powerfull Golem considering destructive force. It's defences, however, are frail and thus it's considered a B-Class Golem.

Trump Card 3

A creature created from pure rock by the greatest mages of Illuciandii, who infused it with magic to making it considerably more durable. This golem uses its magical energy to launch projectiles from its arms, at speeds faster then bullets. Because of its power, it's only used for emergencies and is one of the few A-Class Golems.

If you do not control a Field Spell Card: You can discard 1 "Illucian" monster; Activate this card (from your Deck). If your opponent controlled a Field Spell Card when this effect was activated: They can draw 1 card. You must control this many "Illucian" monsters to activate and resolve these effects: - 1-3: Increase the ATK and DEF of "Illucian" monsters by 250 x the amount of "Illucian" monsters you control. - 2-4: This card cannot be destroyed by card effects. 3+: Once during your Main Phase 1: banish 1 "Illucian" monster in your Graveyard; draw 1 card. If you control a Psychic-Type "Illucian" monster, you do not have to banish a monster to activate this effect. 4+: Once per turn, if you control a Level 6 or higher "Illucian" monster; banish 1 card your opponent controls. 5+: Negate the effects of all Effect Monsters on the field, in their owners hands, Graveyards and Banished Zones.

When you control a Spellcaster, or Psychic-Type "Illuciandii" monster: Tribute 1 monster you control; Special Summon 1 Level 7 or 8 "Illucian" monster from your Deck. The Summoned card cannot be used for a Special Summon. While the Summoned monster remains on the field: "Illuciandii" monsters cannot be targeted by battle.

When you control a "Illuciandii" monster: discard 1 card; Special Summon 1 Level 5 or 6 "Illucian" monster from your Deck. It cannot attack this turn and cannot be used for the Special Summon of a non- "Illucian" monster.

When you control a face-up "Pathway to Illuciandii": Negate the activation of a card that would remove "Illucian" card(s) from the field and send it to the Graveyard.

While you control no "Illucian" cards: pay half your Life Points; Special Summon as many Level 5 till 8 "Illucian" monsters from your Graveyard as possible. Monsters summoned by this effect cannot be used for a Special Summon and are banished during the End Phase of the turn this card was activated.

Equip only to an "Illuciandii" monster. When the equipped card would be destroyed: destroy this card instead. Increase it's ATK and DEF by 400. Depending on the equipped monster's type, apply and activate the correct effect: - Warrior-Type: When it battles with an opponent's monster: that monsters effects are negated. - Spellcaster-Type: Once per turn: you can banish 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field. The equipped monster cannot attack during the turn you activated this card's effect. - Psychic-Type: Both players play with their hands revealed. Once per turn: discard 1 card; select 1 monster in either your opponent's hand or Graveyard. The selected monster has it's effects negated and cannot be selected by another monster's effect.

All pretty good vanilla cards and stories, and the pictures aren't too shabby, a few I've seen, but it's to find good pics nowadays, let alone image up loaders now. But the pictures relate to your story, how do you do that? My stall cards I'm making of an story along with them, which will be provided within vanilla cards, but won't be able to find great pictures for them.

It is good to see you back into card making, Lex. The pictures are pretty good and fairly original, I can definitely see your image archive rising to a legendary status XD.

Anyway, on to the cards. Because these cards don't have effects, I believe it is key to get the spelling perfect in your flavor text. While the mistakes are not big, there are things like when you meant to say prefer you instead have 'prever'. Like I said, not too big but because most of these are vanillas I am going to nitpick(lol). I don't see the 'Class-A Enchanting Circle' being used very often due to the lack of Psychics and Spellcasters. I imagine this will be fixed over time though. But that does bring me to my next point, I do want to see some more psychics and spellcasters. Since you posted this set only today I can't get onto you too much for that though.

I do like the Thunder Lock-Armor quite a bit. Especially the Psychic-type effect. Although I do have questions about that. Is the effect negated for the rest of the duel or just as long as Thunder Lock-Armor is on the field? All and all, this set seems fine as is right now. I can't wait to see more!

You can pretty much fit anything into your story if you work hard enough. The individual stories are based on the images though.

:D

Mhh, I'll try and correct them.
Well atm 1/2 of "Illuciandii" monsters are those types, but yeah I'll add some more lateron.
I intended it to apply for the rest of the duel. Considering you need at least 3 cards to use it.

EDIT** 5/10. Fix some of the vanillas....

@Legit: These are pretty weak: Because there is an existing yugioh card that has 2000 ATK/0 DEF out there, not sure which one. 1950 is less then that, pretty fair.

Level 7 +: 2800 to 4000 only. Any higher for normal or effect card is because of an effect card. Blue EWyes WHite Dragon is 3000 7 star monster.
Level 5 & 6: 2100 - 2800: Yes, cards out there at these levels are this high, trust me, I have seen them and wish I hadnt
Level 4: 1800 - 2100 ATK = And thats just a normal monster.
Level 3 and under = 1700 & under

Use that guide to rate, its pretty much the truth, for vanillas and for effect cards.

1950 ATK is not that high for Vanillas any more. Take a look at Gene-Warped warwolf and Alexandrite Dragon, both are recently created Vanillas, level 4 with 2000 ATK. Even a Vanilla with 2100 ATK wouldn't be out of the question. Vanillas have evolved, and have been evolving, into having high ATK points for quite some time now. These are not as broken as you make them out to be.

And Frost Golem it is very reasonable for it to be an Aqua-Type. It has freaking ice covering its body.
