so my opponent (running Chain Burn if you wanna know) is all like "dur you take 1000 from golem" the turn after he plays 1Day. Also, I'm too lazy to want to take damage.

If you don't want to use a Meta Deck or whatever fine. I get it. They're boring, they're cheap as in don't require any real skill because they're scripted but you cannot deny the fact that they win games. Just because you don't want to use a meta Deck, it doesn't mean you should use a terrible Deck. Just because a Deck isn't meta, it doesn't necessarily mean it is terrible. The Deck in this topic however is in fact terrible. You would be best off taking the good advice and criticism given or just leave if you aren't willing to accept it because all you're doing is just being stubborn and wasting everyone's time.

I like how Placido, Byakk, or Manjy state their opinions and the rest of YCM becomes total tools to their opinions. Seriously though, deck doesn't look too good... but I will agree that MSD isn't needed. Probably the reason why this doesn't seem right is because you haven't been making decks actively for a while... I can see that because you're using Bribe.

Actually I'm going to nitpick this a little bit... I see that the idea is to go for Arcanite or something yes? That's fine I suppose, though Solidarity doesn't seem to work right here... unless you are able to compensate with negation traps, or are just confident in the consistency of the build (which seems to be lacking of). Also, if the Idea is synchro summoning, then you will only need 3 Spy 3 Guard 3 Descendant and 2-3 Commandant, as far as GKs.

It seems that the YCM community is becoming more lazy and ignorant... It does no good to simply suggest changes, and then become aggressive about it. It's like bullying really. I think it's about time people start giving reason, and if need be able to define key points about the deck, like win condition, consistency, etc. It seems so many times people will rant on about a deck simply because the win condition most are familiar to are not present. If the win condition is more easily explained, it might help people with making better suggestions. Also, it helps confirm the direction of the deck, as opposed to changing the whole damn mess.

Also, the whole IRL vs. Online thing has been getting on my nerves, there should be a rule as to the indication of the purpose of the list.

You really should identify what you are trying to go for, and that you don't wish to use the typical GK build. If you do that, most of the arguements pointed against you will become null. also, are there anymore spellcaster Ice Barrier tuners? if so Medallion might help out a bit. take out the Magical Dimensions for them.

OT: Card is terrible design, should be banned, probably won't be. It promotes restrictive design and only really aids things like Exodia, also terrible design.

One day of peace only helps "bad decks" like Exodia or Stall. Bad move, Konami.

Also, don't be an a******, if he didn't knew that effect damage also applies to One day of peace effect, you should have told him.

OT: I really hate it when people are bipolar when it comes to this card.
Use it in exodia or countdown: really? This card is stupidly overused and it's only for these decks.
Use it in any other deck: OMFGZ THIS IS A LIEFSAVAR!!!

This. It's perfectly fine, except when paired up with Exodia/Burn-Stall/Final Countdown/SDB, all of which aren't even top-tier Decks...

... thus why it is one of those cards that will never see the List even when people believe it should.
