Welcome one and all! Today, we have a nice “test” of sorts for the few-wonderful-and-many-terrible people here in the TCG Section today!

Most of you know of the Battle Pack: Epic Dawn and loved it as it contained many reprints of highly wanted cards, such as various Monarch's, Xyz Monsters, and very notably, Tour Guide of the Underworld.

Yet, very few people actually play this wonder pack as it is meant to be, so I plan on changing that today! Once you sign up, I'll be PM'ing you a list of 60 cards from this pack, randomized of course, for you to build a 40 card deck with. Not to mention, this will include an Extra Deck! You may also want to build a side deck out of what you have, it would be nice to have considering it will be match duels!

Rules

1. I will be accepting a maximum of EIGHT people for this tournament.

2. Double Elimination

3. You may only build a deck out of the cards PM'd to you!

4. This is a large amount of luck, so even if you have a bad deck, that doesn't mean everyone else is faring better then you.

5. After you build your deck, post a decklist in the PM.

6. To sign up, simply post your YCM / DN Name

7. Duels will take place in the Unlimited (Unrated) section of Dueling Network.

Basically, normally you get a limited amount of cards to make a deck out of and play with. Normally, it's five packs with five cards, and you build a deck of 20 cards. Since DN doesn't support 20 card decks dueling, you'll get 60 cards to make a deck of 40 with instead.

there is one little problem.
in draft play if you open 4 or more copies you ARE allowed to use them all if you want, and even unlimited play doesn't allow that? do you plan to correct for this problem?

Simple, I don't give anyone more then 3 copies of a card.

Hell, in my randomizing tests, that problem didn't come up even once. :/

Another issue.

Decks in sealed play are supposed to be 30 cards.

Since it's not possible to use a 30-card deck, my idea would be to have everyone add 10 specific cards to their decks -Say, the 5 pieces of Exodia and the 5 Destiny Board cards- So that we can successfully play a 30-card Deck.

I already knew about this, but the thing is that,

Bigger card pool to choose from=/=More consistent deck. By a ten card, margin, at least.

But srsly, I don't want people to drop out for me. Heck, I was planning on hosting one of these at some point after school finished for me anyway, and probably still will. I'mma need dat practice for September.
