Hello! I want to create a Yu-Gi-Oh! Browser MMORPG!
I have some ideas but i need help to make them real!

The cards:
I think the cards should look like this:

The player will not know the name and the effect of the card so, they will learn more about cards by playing this game.
The god cards and Exodia:
There will be only one copy for every god card and piece of exodia.
It will be very hard to gain one of those!
How will it be?
At the start you will make an avatar and you will choose a starter deck!
You will gain DP(Duel Points) by dueling. With DP you will buy cards and other stuff!
The battle System:
There will be a "Duel Mode". When you put it on you can duel(you activate the duel disk).Only if you have a duel disk you can active the "Duel Mode". Othewise you will duel on a table.

Nope, I'm not breaking yu're rule.I'm not saying you CAN'T do it. But you must think more. How? How will it be created. What? What wil be used to create it? You can't just post something saying 'This is an idea, let's make a game.' It takes more thought. Game mechanics are all well and good, but you can't leave other people to do everything. You really need to think your ideas over more carefully. Come back to me when you do.

MMOs that already exist - Duel Monsters Genesis and Expert, both using the BYOND program to coordinate online play. Do you expect a team of programmers to rise up out of nowhere to make this game? There are always people willing to help out, particularly when working with mediums like Game Maker or RPG Maker, but there's only one person who can make this game: you.

You are right and wrong. Mostly right. But he CAN create this. He just needs to, well, you know, use his brain a little more on this project.

Sounds like an interesting idea, and if it ever gets off the ground, I'd like to try it. Unfortunately, I've got nothing to offer in terms of help. I'm pulling for you, though!

Yeah, I'm forgetful, and that would just p*ss me off. That's a... very bad design decision, to say the least.

I dunno, maybe it would work, but slapping on Yu-Gi-Oh is pointless and will never happen. Konami won't give you the rights. Just use some original idea and simpler card effects that would work with this style of gameplay.



So go learn Java and C++ and master them. Go on. You can do it! Go to college for 4 years!
