They'd either have to change it so that it can only be activated from the hand or that it has to be an equip card. One would make it horrible, the other would... Idk, does changing a monster to another monster card zone cause a replay?

If they'd released this and Back-Up Gardna, Guardians would be half decent. As opposed to now, where they struggle, but can kinda work. Not often, but they can.

OT: The activating a new equip spell would turn Guardians into a huge toolbox. Pulling out United we stand, megamorph, or any other equip they need, and keeping there for a long enough time to do anything.

With the Seal of Orichalcos it does.

Activate only when a face-up "Guardian" monster you control is selected as an attack target. Negate the attack and move the monster to an unoccupied Monster Card Zone. Then, you can select and activate 1 Equip Spell Card from your hand or Deck.

Now it's balanced.

I demand a Duelist Pack Rafael with that Defense Position Guardian he started his first Duel with, the "discard many cards, but draw 2 each turn" spell, Guardian Dreadsythe, as well as Eatos with alternate art, and Celestial Sword, to complement the release of Legendary Collection 3


OT:
The card has so many targets.
Stronghold Guardian
Celtic Guardian
Guardian of Order

and it's not like Eatos couldn't exist in some Madolche variant if this card existed.
Definitely make it Equips only searcher. It'd blend well with the Guardian theme anyhow.

I wish Eatos had its anime effect, just for the hilarity of it when it works well. Though, Guardian Force would become the most splashed card in history if released. Of couse they would change it. If they did release all the support they left out before, then suddenly guardians could be a half decent deck type.

OT: I never realised it could be any spell card Yeah, it would get changed to equip card if released, to prevent people dropping Dark hole in the middle of the battle phase. And equip cards is perfect for the Archtype anyway.
