I actually have not had to use it yet, but in practice it will probably go better than Cat's Ear Tribe.
I'll get a bunch more duels in today, though.

I have not tested Firestars, and these suggestions come from reading the cards:

I know you need a bunch of Firedance cards for the Firestars, and the Traps go well with your 2 Magic Planters,but maybe Horn of Phantom Beast would work better than Tensen? Both add ATK but Horn can generate inmediate advantage.

I don't think you can properly call it a "Sacred Firestar" Deck when the only non-Xyz Sacred is Kaust. Maybe you could add Leonis (Horn target, allows to Normal Summon Kaust and with Tensu you can Normal Summon an additional Beast-Warrior) and/or Sheratans (also Horn target, searches Kaust/Pollux/Leonis, makes Rank3 with Leonis/Seiven)? Then with enough LIGHTs you will be able to run Honest.

Don't forget Sacred Omega in the Extra Deck: As Beast-Warrior it is a target for Firedances, and depending in your situation S/T protection might be preferred over the card bouncing effect of Pleiades. Then, if the Leonis/Sheratans convince you, include a Hyades as well for an easy Ptolemys.

Taro looks weird in the Deck: It is your only EARTH, Tuner Monster. I know it can searched by Tenki for an emergency Synchro, but maybe you are better off with an additional Leonis/Sheratan, remove the Synchros in Extra Deck in favor of the Sacred Xyzs and use the Mind Control for Xyzing with Kaust.

I sincerely doubt that the deck will continue to function with only 3 searchable traps...
Leonis and Sheratan don't fit, and Honest REALLY doesn't fit...

I'd like to use Horn, but there's little space.

Hieshen (although I see what u do with him) can be pretty dead in the hand (even if field set up is easy). Taro...well...Synchro genics, he's not really that useful because you can go into much more than just Synchros, and most of your resources will go to Soko or other Xyzs before Synchros usually. Even the constellars stop you from using them for Synchros, so honestly Duality seems better, since it can nab you search/extra normal summon/etc. Granted, you can Special Summon, but that's fine because you've just +ed your consistency.

Gonna take out 1 Tenken for Hienshaku.
Tenken doesn't help as much compared to Tensen, mostly because it's MP1 only, and Hienshaku blocks targeting and is also a Level 5 for Xyz shenanigans.

EDIT: Agro's build has me reconsidering Hienshaku, and I may want to sub 1 Planter to put in 2 Lances, but then again, if I have 2 spots, maybe Horn would be better than Lance?
