This is the Riposte archetype, based on the Counter Fairies archetype. As the Counter Fairies, the Riposte focuses on using a lot of Counter Trap Cards and benefitting from them.

During the turn this card is Summoned, you can activate Counter Trap Cards that were Set this turn. Once per turn, each time a Counter Trap Card resolves, you can immediately Set 1 Counter Trap Card with a different name from your Deck (during the Chain), but it cannot be activated this turn.

After a Counter Trap Card you control resolves: You can Special Summon this card (from your hand or Graveyard), except if this card was sent to the Graveyard to activate a Counter Trap Card's effect this turn. The effect of "Gungnir, Riposte Centaurus" can only be used once per turn. Each time a Counter Trap Card resolves, this card gains 200 ATK. If your opponent activates a card in response to a Counter Trap Card you activated: Destroy this card.

When this card is Normal Summoned: Add 1 Counter Trap Card from your Graveyard to your hand. Each time a Counter Trap Card resolves, immediately draw 1 card (during the Chain). If your opponent activates a card in response to a Counter Trap Card you activated: Destroy this card. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: You can send 2 Counter Trap Cards you control to the Graveyard; Special Summon this card from the Graveyard.

After a Counter Trap Card you control negates the activation of an opponent's card or effect, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). Your opponent cannot activate cards in response to your Counter Trap Cards. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can add 1 "Riposte" card from your Graveyard to your hand, except "Caladbolg, Riposte Dragon".

After a Counter Trap Card you control negates the activation of an opponent's card or effect, you can Special Summon this card from your hand, then activate the appropriate effects, based on the type of card negated:
● Spell: Destroy 1 card your opponent controls.
● Trap: Add 1 Counter Trap Card from your Deck to your hand.
● Effect Monster: Target 1 monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it.

After a Counter Trap Card you control negates the activation of an opponent's card or effect, you can Special Summon this card from your hand, then add 1 Counter Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. Up to twice per turn: You can banish 1 Counter Trap Card in your Graveyard and target 1 card on the field; destroy it. Each time a Counter Trap Card you control negates the activation of an opponent's card or effect, you can immediately target and destroy 1 card your opponent controls (during the Chain), but if you do, after the Chain resolves, that Counter Trap Card is banished.
Each time a Counter Trap Card resolves, gain 600 Life Points. When a "Riposte" monster you control is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can Set 1 Counter Trap Card from your Deck. Once per turn, after a Counter Trap Card you control resolves as Chain Link 3 or higher, you can add that card to your hand instead of sending it to the Graveyard.
When a card or effect is activated that targets, destroys or moves a "Riposte" monster on the field or Graveyard to a different place: Pay 1000 Life Points to negate the activation and destroy that card. During your Main Phase, you can banish this card in your Graveyard to add 1 Counter Trap Card from your Deck to your hand.

This is pretty interesting. All of a sudden, a simple seven tools of the bandit becomes a decent maneuver. It improves upon a bunch of cards that don't see much support outside some random fairy cards. It also looks very versatile, able to do well on stopping your opponents moves. I especially like the Cerberus, he looks like he could cause as much damage as Gorz. The only thing that it doesn't have is a counter trap recycling card, not that it really needs it.

A card that recycles could mean problems, since you'd be able to recycle stuff like Solemn Judgment which is Limited for a reason (and in this deck it's even reasonably stronger than in others). Thanks for the reply!
