Fusions and XYZ's - Polymers

So recently I’ve gained an infatuation over the cards Super Polymerization and Horn of Heaven. So I decided to make archetypes for each. Here you’ll see one of the archetypes, “Polymer” monsters which focus on Fusion and XYZ manipulation. It is also the first Yugico cards I have ever posted.

Polymer Blader

1 Rank 4 or lower XYZ Monster + 1 Spell Card
When this card is Fusion Summoned: You can send 1 Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck to the Graveyard; Add 1 "Polymerization", "Fusion Gate", or "Super Polymerization" from your Deck to your hand. You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 Level 6 or lower Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon.)

The centerpiece, and in my opinion the most overpowered. Easy to bring out (Swift Warrior + Fader into Ion, +1 Poly, Poly Ion and Spell (or Super Poly Fusion Gate + opponent’s XYZ)), Blader from just Swift and an extra Poly. Moving Fusion Monsters to the Graveyard can really help (or hurt) this deck, and obviously you’d want more Fusion Gate/Poly/Super Poly to run off of. Then you can scrap this card for Scientist, or any other Level 6 or lower Fusion Monster (May change, haven’t fully checked Elemental Heros) and do shenanigans from there. Best card, I am sure there are drawbacks but I can’t see anything big. Can also synergize with Warriors, probably really well with Elemental Heros too. Again more research is required.

Polymer Scientist

2 "Polymer" Fusion Monsters
Must first be Fusion Summoned. You can discard 2 Spell Cards; Special Summon 1 "Polymer" Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. While this card is in your Graveyard: You can banish this card; Add 1 Fusion Monster in your Graveyard to your Extra Deck. The effect of "Polymer Scientist" can only be activated twice per turn.

The summoner (made after Magical Scientist) and in my case, the favorite. This deck will run on a bunch of Spells, so it won’t be hard to use his ability, but it will still be crushing. It can bring out any Polymer Fusion Monster, since this isn’t complete you may be wary, but I’ll tell you Lancer is the pseudo-boss monster (no boss monster). It has no “Special Summon is Fusion Summon” clause (originally a mistake) but this way, it can’t summon another of itself (but Blader can). It also can recharge a Fusion Monster for resummoning. Note: Fusion Monsters that are not properly Fusion Summoned cannot be revived from the graveyard. I tried to make it so that Chaos or DAD or whatever can’t play with it.

Polymer Fader

1 Synchro Monster + 1 "Polymer" Monster
During your Main Phase or your opponent's Battle Phase: You can send 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck to the Graveyard, and if this card is in your Extra Deck; Special Summon this card in face-up Defense Position (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon). The effect of "Polymer Fader" can only be used once per turn.

Fuel for Ion or a way to protect from incoming attacks. Also for Super Poly, if your opponent has a Synchro and you want to get rid of a Polymer. But mostly for Ion fuel.

Polymer Lancer

"Polymer Blader" + 1 XYZ Monster
The Fusion Summon of this card cannot be negated. If this card was Fusion Summoned using "Polymer Blader" as a Fusion Material Monster, it gains the following effect: Once per turn: You can return 1 Synchro, XYZ, or Fusion Monster in either player's Graveyard to the Extra Deck; Negate the activation of a Spell/Trap card and destroy it.

Pseudo-boss monster and second main card. If given the right cards, you can bring this out immediately with its effect, potentially hard in other places. Somewhat modeled after Shi En and other bosses, but not necessarily meant to be a boss...

Ion, Polymer Fusionist

2 Level 3 Monsters
At least 1 of the XYZ Materials attached to this card must be a Fusion Monster, if not: Destroy this card. You can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card; Add 1 "Polymerization", "Super Polymerization", or "Fusion Gate" from your Deck to your hand. If this card is destroyed, except by its own effect: You can Special Summon 1 Level 5 or lower "Polymer" Fusion Monster from your Graveyard.

A joke on Fusionist, as we all know how amazing all the Level 3 Fusions are. Fader goes smoothly into this card. However, this XYZ is only meant to be an intermediate step to getting to Blader. While it sports a similar effect, why would you bother to use this when Blader is just so much better? It also sports a buffer, if your chain happens to have been broken by a pesky Trap Card or something, you can Special Summon a Fusion Monster from the Grave (this card breaks the rules, as said before, Fusion Monsters not Fusion Summoned before they have reached the Graveyard cannot be Special Summoned, may fix that).

Swift Warrior L

If you control a face up Fusion or XYZ Monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. If your opponent activates a Trap Card while you control a face-up Fusion or XYZ Monster: Send this card to the Graveyard and negate the activation of the Trap Card. Afterwards, add 1 "Polymerization", "Super Polymerization", or "Fusion Gate" from your Graveyard to your hand. You cannot Special Summon a Fusion or XYZ Monster until the End Phase of this turn.

At first it seems over the top, but the second effect is mandatory. So if your opponent activated, say, Gift Card, you have to scrap this card and you won’t be able to Special Summon your Fusions or XYZ’s until the End of the turn (though hand advantage is given). Again part of the steps to get Blader. Not part of the archetype, as it supports all Fusion and XYZ Monsters.

Robotic Angel M

When this card is Normal Summoned; You can add 1 Spell Card with "Polymer" or "Fusion" from your Deck to your hand, except "Diffusion Wave-Motion". Each time you Fusion Summon a Fusion Monster: You can discard 1 Spell Card; Draw 1 card.

Meh, needed another Level 3 monster. It is overpowered, I guess. So you can bash on it and I will only agree. Modeled after Hyper Librarian.

Polymer Connection

Discard 1 Spell Card; Send 1 "Polymer" monster you control to the Graveyard and Special Summon 1 Level 6 or lower "Polymer" Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon). The Special Summoned monster is treated as if it was Special Summoned using the Fusion Materials listed in its card effect. Return that monster to the Extra Deck during the End Phase of this turn. You can banish 1 "Polymer" monster in your Graveyard; Add this card from your Graveyard to your hand.

Modeled after Gem-Knight Fusion. Could randomly fuel Scientist, but that can’t go on forever. Could be really powerful, if used in the right situations? It is my most recent addition, and I will need to mull over it some more.

There are my comments, don’t let them influence your own comments (I highly doubt YCM could be influenced by any of my comments) and please make suggestions for improvement. Hope I made something at least semi-good.
Oh and I should mention the win condition is to make XYZ's from the Polymer Fusions, and/or beatdown w/ Lancer and Blader. There may be more cards for this, but I need some commentary to improve on the concepts for the next few cards.

I actually really like this, fusion monsters that need Synchros aren't knew (See Miracle Synchro Fusion) but the Xyz thing is a nice touch. I like how these will hit hard on so many decks and are generally not over powered, although you might want to go back over a few of them and make sure you have enough restrictions since they summon powerful fusions so easily. I would actually happily run these and the synergy with heroes (Especially Prisma) and other warrior archetypes is pretty awesome.

A weakness I see is how often you thin your extra deck, which is generally not great since you'll run out of cards so quick and be unable to summon them back but I suppose Emeral and Pot of Avarice (and Warrior Returning Alive?) help counteract that to a degree but maybe you should create a card specifically based on returning Fusions to your extra deck. The only other problem I see is that there may not be enough room in an extra deck to run these as a pure deck let alone a hybrid with Gem-Knights or Heroes or something, although it could probably be done.

Honourable mention to Blader ( it has a great effect, although I'm not sure of the Spell as a material, might make it a bit cheap) and to the fusion spell (it has a unique and incredibly useful effect).

Thanks, I tried to counter the thinning of the extra deck in Lancer and Scientist, but it definitely isn't enough, I will think on making a card specific to returning the cards to the Extra Deck. Also for the problem with room, I was thinking one would run 2-3 of Blader and everything else would be 1-2, and if one could recycle enough, then the Extra Deck is refilled for further use. Again that leads to the problem of recycling, which I should definitely fix. Also, how do you think I could make Blader more expensive/balanced?
