I'll just place this here:
Username: Sapphyre

Name: Niasa Von Mira

Gender: Female

Race: Vampire

Age: 37

Appearance: Niasa is relatively short for her age standing only at about 5’7”, and she has the pale skin of a vampire, with the sharp features that show her royal blood. Niasa’s narrow eyes are a deep crimson with long feather eye lashes, and ringed with a kohl outline. Niasa’s nails are always kept filed down to a point sharp enough to cut skin, and coated in purple coating of her own concoction.  Her long blue hair reaches down to her waist, and seems to have a silky sheen to it. Niasa has an impressive DD size bust that attracts attention, which is most of the time unwanted. On her left shoulder blade is a sapphire moon tattoo, and just above her buttocks are twin pentagrams that seem grafted into her skin.

Niasa wears a Rosario (identical to the one worn by Moka), on a black choker. Her dress is loose, silky black which has a white trimming on the sleaves and dress. The dress is shorter and pleated in front going down to just above her knees, and flares out behind her going down to her ankles. She also wears a sky blue sash around her waist that extends to about the middle of her thigh. Niasa wears shoes stylized after those of ancient Roman soldiers. When going out into the village Niasa wears a sapphire cloak, with a black moon clasp.

Bio: Niasa is younger sister of the deceased Vampire Lord Elnear and older sister of the current Vampire Lord Alsa. Niasa had what many called middle child-it is and was often forgotten by her parents who were focused on grooming their oldest son to becoming the next Vampire Lord. Due to this Niasa often secluded herself in the library spending long hours reading books, ranging from fiction to history. Niasa was always close to her grandfather Lord Esplice who would often read her stories and tell her of times long since passed, of course she would never develop the love of stories her younger brother had, Niasa found history much more interesting. Eventually though her grandfather died leaving the princess alone and forgotten, which caused small phases of depression in Niasa. Despite being the forgotten child her parents wanted to make sure was always excelling in her studies as they could not have an idiot daughter.

When Niasa’s younger brother was born she could not have been happier to have someone to give attention and dote over. Even that that pleasure would not last for long though and soon even Alsa was taken away from her to become a good vampire prince leaving the princess, again, alone and forgotten. Alone Niasa turned to the occult, which to her seemed like another way to pass the time. Unfortunately during this time she, accidentally, succeeded in summoning the dark spirit Freyr who attempted to possess her, and would have had she not been able to perform an exorcism spell and banish him. Due to the spirit’s strength though he was able to leave a fragment of himself within Niasa’s soul, but the fact that Freyr was so weak stopped him from taking him over Niasa’s body, and Niasa had no idea of his presence until the Battle of Nuevedia.

During the battle Niasa was nearly killed by her Uncle Lyon Von Mira, and only managed to cling on for life due the fact that Azami Yamada had healed her by pumping magic back into her, at least that was what was thought. Though she did play apart in saving Niasa’s life, Dr. Yamada would not have been able to keep Niasa alive had Freyr not kept Niasa’s spirit anchored to her body to use her as a vessel.   Clinging to life Niasa “met” Freyr again in the spirit world, who informed her that he was the only thing keeping her alive, and attempted to possess her right then and there, but at that moment Niasa had been saved by Dr. Yamada returning her from the spirit world. By now though Freyr had a strong enough hold on Niasa to gain control over her mind in small lapses, and used this time to further his own deeds.

After the Battle of Nuevedia Niasa found two baby girls and found them to be the children of her deceased brother Elnear and a servant girl he had raped. Niasa decided to take the two girls away from Nuevedia, and a new place to start a new life, with her newly wed husband, Aro Volterriar, left in search of a new home. 7 months later they found a good building site just half a mile outside of a village called Noirlune. In the period of 2 years the mansion was built and a staff hired. The mansion hides a dark secret beneath it though. Under it is a small ritual chamber, which Feyr, while using Niasa’s body, is using to prepare a ritual to revive himself with Niasa as the host. To further his goals he has started a cult known as the Children of the Moon, whose mark is a small sapphire crescent moon tattoo.

Niasa had found out of, and planned to meet her brother and husband when they reached Noirlune, but was unfortunately in town when the mist surrounded it, and has become trapped not wanting to risk making an escape.

Personality: Niasa in general is a kind-hearted person, and after seeing the horrors of the Battle of Nuevedia tries to promote peace above all else. Generally a peacemaker she tries to diffuse situations before they turn violent. Niasa is typically not a person who holds ill-will, and if fact sometimes she is naively trusting and forgiving, but is easily hurt when people betray her trust.   From all her time in the library Niasa is quite intelligent and majors in history and mathematics having attended University in Noirelune She is currently one of the foremost leading historians and mathematicians in Lath. She is commonly playful, but at the drop of the hat can turn serious and stoic when necessary.

While mostly mild mannered if you try to harm a hair on her families’ head, especially one of her daughters, I would suggest you start running, because Niasa will come at you like a mother bear. While not an overbearing mother, she cares deeply for the safety of her daughters and does not let them leave the mansion grounds often, and never without guard. Niasa has a deep trust in her husband, and has confidence that he can make everything in the world right even when it’s going to hell in a hand basket right before her eyes, but at the same time acknowledges that she is technically the more powerful person in the couple and that she has to take responsibility for herself sometimes.

She does not hate werewolves, but wishes to help them control their current forms, or at least cure them of their current forms, as she believes that in their werewolf form they could potentially become too unstable to control themselves properly. She is currently trying to find a werewolf, particularly one who won’t try to kill her, to arrange a meeting with Wylfred, or find Wylfred himself to arrange some sort of peace arrangement.

Faction: Neutral

Abilities/Equipment: Moon’s Eye: Niasa’s main weapon, a metallic black recurve bow, which she fires energy arrows from.  The riser is standard look of most recurve bows, with the upper and lower limbs resembling an elongated closed flower, and the string is colored blue. Niasa is very adept at using this weapon to attack enemies, and can use it keep enemies at bay. This is the perfect weapon for Niasa since she a typically long ranged fighter, as she is not adept at hand to hand combat.

Sai: Niasa uses a twin pair of sai, which she keeps tucked up the sleeves of her dress. They are done in a Manji design, and held in place by two very subtle harnesses, which at the flick Niasa’s wrist release the weapons. She only uses these when long-range attacks have proven futile, and for the fact that they are primarily a defensive weapon.

Poisoned Nails: Niasa keeps her nails filed down to a point enough to cut skin, and very thin fabric, which are coated in poisoned laced polish. These are used as a last ditch tool should all else fail.

Energy Magic: As a pure-blood Von Mira she has the ability to use energy magic, and even before the Battle of Nuevedia she had a high proficiency for it already. After the Battle of Nuevedia she learned to better control it and can form more complex things. Her favorites are a an arrow, a foot-long beam of energy that protrudes from her palm, and a circles of, up to, 35 circles of energy that she can fire separately or at the same time at a foe. When enraged red and black energy crackles within the normally ice blue of the energy magics. When she is possessed the energy turns completely black.

Other Important Information: This section pertains to the structure and staff of Scarlet Legacy Mansion:

The Scarlet Legacy Mansion is surrounded by a tall iron fence, with the letters VM welded in a cursive-esque fashion on the front gate. A large circular courtyard with a fountain in the middle proceeds the mansion, which is ringed by 25 servant’s quarters each big enough for a family of 3. Off to the right of the courtyard is guard’s station, which all is a storehouse for the weapons.

The mansion itself is a T-Shaped building with the main building being three stories. Part of the right wing is a domed tower, which contains a library that is four stories. The library has an extensive variety of books, ranging from rare magical books to history books to pieces of fiction. The library is home to some of most rare books in the world, which its caretaker prides herself on. It has relatively few windows for a building of its side, which oddly enough is beneficial considering it main tenants, are vampires. A curved veranda extends from the front of the mansion, on the second floor, which is shaded by the curved roof that rims the mansion. The roof itself is flat, and can be accessed through the library of a winding staircase towards the back of the left wing of the house.

The rooms of the Von Miras can be found on the third floor each family member having their own room. It has several guest rooms, which are frequently used by the maids/ butlers once they have finished their daily work.

The Scarlet Legacy Mansion employs 50 maids/butlers (3:1 ratio of maids to butlers), some of which stay on the grounds with their families. In addition it employs 20 guards, all of which stay with the guard house (2:1 ration of men to women).

Notable Employee’s:

Yukuna Meiling: A pure blood vampire, and gatekeeper of Scarlet Legacy Mansion. She is captain of the mansion’s guards, and an experienced hand to hand combatant. Being a vampire she had no access to magic, but her vampire speed, reflexes and strength more than make up for the minor disadvantage.

Regina Knowledge: A human sorceress, Regina is Scyllia and Tamara’s private tutor and the mansion’s librarian. She is one of the foremost experts on magic and magical artifacts, as well as an extremely skilled sorceress, but a poor hand to hand combatant. She mainly focuses on elemental magic.

Haruna Izayoi: Niasa’s personal maid, and head maid for the mansion, she is currently the only hybrid employed at Scarlet Legacy Mansion.  Haruna combines the vampiric strength and reflexes of her father and the human magic of her mother to be a force to be reckoned with. She fights by duplicating throwing knives (done by using magic to split apart a knive’s molecular structure and repairing it into two separate knives), as well as using hand to hand combat. She has a very close relationship with Niasa, Tamara, and Scyllia.
Aro, Tamara, and Scyllia to come soon

@Saph: Yay~ Niasa is accepted. Welcome back, ClearAngel~
@Bomb: Y- yes, it's okay. I- I- I love families, all these families...

Anyway, guys, we'll be starting sometime around Sunday or Monday, or maybe earlier if everyone I'm waiting on (mostly Aragorn and TFF) manages to finish their apps faster.

EDIT: ...Somebody should give you guys an award! Because you all kept submitting such humongous apps, IT BROKE THE WORD LIMIT for the main page, and now I'm forced to put them each in separate posts~ hurray!

And now if you care to go to the front page and look at the bottom, you'll see that we now have a FORUM CODE FAILURE. (confirmed via a proxy)

You know, guys, you're not supposed to bold over a spoiler title. It messes with the code and makes YCM try to do auto-thingies to fix the spoiler, when it's already 'complete'. I can only assume that this mixed in with my signature and ended up creating this post-inside-a-post thing. I'll try to fix it, but until then, enjoy this rare forum glitch.

Never mind. The character development made a character that wouldn't have a family.
Username: MagnetBomb
Name: Lukas Verone
Gender: Male
Race: Human>vampire hybrid
Age: 22
Appearance: Before the blade: http://browse.deviantart.com/art/A-rainy-evening-264404744

After: http://browse.deviantart.com/art/Goth-Boy-134271951
Lukas was born to a family of vampires, and the mother had been less than faithful to the husband. The woman had cheated on her husband with a human in a drunken sequence of events, which included a bit too much blood and a wrong turn down an alleyway. Her husband, during this slur, was out fighting the humans at the time, and had no idea of the event. When he came home, they celebrated, and enjoyed themselves quite fully while he was home. 9 months later, the couple happily accepted the new life into the world. The husband quickly realized what had happened. The husband decided that he could forgive her, but could not have the baby in the house. While the wife was asleep, he left the city, and placed the child into a seemingly-abandoned hut on the outskirts of town. After a few days of the baby starving, an old human couple came and raised them in all the magic they knew and how to live off of the land. Lukas never found out his past for 9 years, and assumed he was the human's son. One day, the old woman died of old age. The old man was left with Lukas for 7 more years, until the wise man fell brutally ill. Before he died, he handed Lukas a parcel, not to be opened until he was 18 years old.

2 years later, he opened the parcel. Inside was a letter explaining how his adopted parents had found him when he was a little child. They had no information of his origin nor of his parents. All he knew is that they were somewhere within the city walls. He took out the next item in the parcel: a charm that was said to protect the wearer till the day he died. He put it around his neck and then hid it under his shirt. Finally, he came upon his adopted father's final gift. A small dagger, made of a shiny black material, that shone slightly purple in the light. It came with a note with a strange incantation on it. He collected all of his dried meats, fruits and vegetables, and put them into a bag. He then traveled to the city for a long while. After many years of anguish and frustration, he left, and for the first time, had given up on finding his family. On the way out of the city, he was jumped by a bandit armed with nothing but a club. Panicked, he pulled his dagger out of its sheath for the first time since he received it, and turned around. He raised the dagger above his head, and brought it down in the pale moonlight from the half moon that night. What he saw that night, was a man, turned into nothing, by a force he did not understand.

All he saw was a sort of purplish-black wound, that spread like fire over the man's skin, reducing him to nothing He was horrified at first, but soon became interested by the blade's power. He felt slightly stronger after the event, and liked the feel of it. He soon craved the power, and felt himself slowly going insane, craving the power he gained from the blade.

When the werewolves moved in around the city, his house was surrounded by the fog. He slowly crept until he saw a gathering of young men, all off guard, eating. He snuck behind each, and let the blade do its work. He felt a different kind of power, something that had been lacking inside of him, a permanent drain of energy, something that allowed him to manipulate shadow. He soon found that slaying werewolves filled him with a permanent energy, and he wanted more....
Personality: Lukas craves only one thing now: power. He is essentially a serial killer/assassin and will stop at nothing to simply kill. He enjoys the new feeling killing werewolves gets, and whenever one wanders from base camp, he kills it. He is great at setting traps, so his home is surrounded by pitfalls and rope traps. He has lost his sanity, but sometimes his old self shows through, perhaps through a slight color change from purple to blue, them back again, or maybe a moment of hesitation before a murder. He is like Gollum to his blade; if he loses it, he stops at nothing to get it back. The fear of losing the blade is too much for him. He enjoys the taste of blood as well, and sometimes takes victims home so he can drink it.He also wishes deep down to find his parents.... Maybe that will stop the insanity....
Faction: Nuetral, though he is against werewolves especially, as you can tell
Abilities/Equipment:
Bow and Arrows- he has a set of arrows in which he tips with paralyzingly poison, so he can either kill his prey with the blade, drink his blood, or use him as bait
His dagger- consumes the energy of a weak human, vampire, or werewolf, causing him to become momentarily stronger, as well as kill the enemy slowly. The speed of the effect depends on the strength of the enemy. Sunlight, no matter how little, stops the effect.
Shadow Manipulation- has the ability to manipulate and make shadows take shape and definition. This is a new skill and he is slowly learning it.
Healing: he knows healing incantations for minor injuries
Heightened speed, strength, and senses: he gets these from his vampire blood.

Other: may take assassin work from any alliance. Maybe.

Well.

That escalated quickly.

...

ACCEPTED~! The sheer amount of subplots we're gonna have here is unbelievable. I'm almost scared, since it's my job to balance everything and direct everyone into the ending.

Oh yeah, by the way, guys, there are three main planned paths to this RP and three different ways it can end. I'm gonna call them Fate, Unlimited Blade Works, and Heaven's Feel. Whatever happens during the first day will determine which route we're on and where the main plot will go, and I'll be sure to inform you all afterwards.

It's up to you, really. But yeah, have him battle his insanity deep inside while on the outside, he's utterly psycho.

Suggestions; maybe you could have him be a minor antagonist, stalking the werewolves back into Wylfred's mansion when given the chance and attacking them at the heart. Then he'd either get killed (and you'll have to make another character), get bitten and become a hybrid werewolf, get taken prisoner, or successfully kills so many werewolf NPCs that he becomes amazingly powerful - before getting his head chomped off. You could also have him survive the attack though at the cost of a shattered knife, and he later rediscovers his parents, finds hope, and joins the Resistance as a redeemed guy.

There are many paths. Which would you prefer?

Wow, I don't know. I'd rather not have him killed, cuz I spent a long time on him. Maybe the shattered blade. I was thinking maybe have him turn, and maybe compete with Jeremy Mason for assassin, or maybe even overcome the insanity, have him turn good, and have the blade turn with him. This will all play out interestingly. I'll pm you a possible plot.

Username: TheFinalFan
Name: Doctor Prudence Tilling
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Age: 32
Appearance:
Female_Doctor_praccy_by_Bonjman.jpg
Bio: Prudence was born into a family of mystical human healers in a small crossroads town deep within the woods who utilized magic and potions to cure the aliments and injuries of their fellow humans. The Tillings were quite successful, and were relatively well-off from their business, selling tonics, salves, and smellingsalts while also taking care of appointments. The Tilling family even had friends among the vampires, and managed to acquire some medical techniques from their vampiric counterparts. However, when Prudence was just a little girl, Lord Elnaer came to power over the vampires and threatened the peaceful coexistence of humans and vampires. The Tillings went into hiding with a vampire family of lesser nobility, the Ottaviani Clan, that was quite pro-human, and spent the duration of the war as servants, though relatively well off and taken care of rather well. During this period, the pride and joy of the clan and a friend of Prudence's, Lucretia Ottaviani, fell grievously ill, and with a vampiric doctor unable to reach her in time, Prudence's father managed to use magic to save the girl. Both families realized the importance of needing someone who could take care of both species, and Prudence would be selected as this new paragon of medicine, a role she embraced happily.
Thanks to financial support from the Ottavianis, Prudence was able to enroll in a prestigious vampiric medical university after the war, where she was one of a select few humans attending. While there were still tensions left over from the war, she was able to make friends among the right professors and be accepted within her preferred field of surgery. Her unorthodox yet surprisingly effective approach to vampiric and human medicine allowed her to get top marks in her courses, and graduate as the salutatorian of her class, a remarkable feat for the time. She moved to the beautiful and bustling city of Noirlune to practice her profession, and purchased a lovely apartment downtown with plenty of room, but with an old, senile vampire with an incredibly aggressive small dog named Carlton as a landlady. She has been bitten many times over the years by Carlton, so she is used to healing the bites she has sustained. Her private practice has been rather successful, as she and her staff offer high-quality services to both species for an affordable price, and even staunch anti-vampire humans and anti-human vampires have found this collaborator between the two species to be much better for healthcare than they would like to admit.
With the expansion of the mist and the attack of the werewolves, Prudence was caught up in the rush to evacuate, and found herself knocked out by civilians panicking when a pack of werewolves attacked their position. She seems to have not been bitten by the werewolves, though the number of faint bites she has received from her landlady’s dog that mar her skin make it difficult to determine. Regardless, she is a vital asset to the Resistance due to her abilities as a doctor, though she refuses to fight against the werewolves.
Personality: Prudence is a staunch believer of peaceful negotiations and diplomacy between humans and vampires, and now between the Resistance and Werewolves. However, she is always willing to heal others, no matter where their injuries came from, as she has taken a version of the Hippocratic Oath. She dislikes Azami’s policies regarding executing any potential werewolves, as a cure could be synthesized from the former Resistance members, plus, these werewolves could be useful to the Resistance in fighting against their own kind, as they are immune to the negative effects of a werewolf’s bite. Prudence can be kind and caring to her patients, always keeping a cheerful disposition and a calm demeanor to help her patients feel better. But Prudence’s emotions can run high, and she has been known to speak her mind on many an occasion.
Faction: Resistance
Abilities/Equipment: Prudence is a master physician, utilizing a mixture of science and magic to help heal others, though she can use the tools of her trade in self-defense. While she will not admit it, she could potentially be an effective fighter due to her knowledge of human anatomy, but she would not only refuse to go on the offensive, but she would be unwilling to kill a werewolf. She has an eye for details and quirks, which, combined with her extensive knowledge of healing, gives her an edge normal healers would kill for. She also knows some basic psychology to calm others and give advice, though she makes it clear that she is a noncombatant.

Does this work, Merciful?

@FinalFan: I lol'd at 'the beautiful and bustling city of Noirlune', and it isn't exactly Azami's policy to execute all werewolves on sight (that was the previous mayor), but apart from that, Prudence is a very solid character. Accepted~! *thrusts a stamp onto the app*
