I see that you used your 'Pokemon Academy' app here. Kinda a bit inconsistent with this RP's plot though; you might need to change the bio quite a bit.

I don't think so. The Pokemon Academy plot itself was pretty ambiguous about location and all, so I think it can still apply. Besides, Liselotte did it too so.....yeah~

By the way, I'll be making a Team Purity app soon, if that's okay.
Name: N.N (pronounced En-en, stands for Neo Neir - though it isn't his real name)

Rank: Grunt

Age: ?

Gender: Male
466972.jpg

He wears the standard Team Purity uniform without any modifications, but strangely enough, wears a black crown on top of his head at all times, refusing to explain what it means or symbolizes. While others may laugh at him for this, they remain meaningless to him. Otherwise, he will dress himself in royal gold-and-silver garments fit for an ancient prince - he had the outfit ordered by a tailor after the clothing he had worn in olden days.
Bio: This is a dready tale that connects the past, past, and future. Before we begin, one thing must be made clear. N.N is not a natural human being. He can't even be called artificial. Nor is he a spirit or an alien. He is simply a creation, something that exists alongside humanity, yet is not a part of it. In a sense, he himself could be called 'a Legendary Pokemon'.

The Epic of Gilgamesh:

Thousands of years ago, a girl named Enkidu who lived alone in the forest discovered a strange object. From it, she awoke the slumbering Jirachi and made one simple wish; to have a friend . And from that wish, N.N was born as the actualization of her 'dream friend'. Of course, things were good, and even though he didn't age, he and the girl were happy with each other for a time. Together, they managed to get themselves accepted into a village (the original form of human civilization), who all quickly grew to admire N.N. Somehow, he ended up as their leader.

But at the same time, bad luck began to constantly fall to the village they lived in. There was no rain, all the crops were dying, and the water grew dirtier with each passing month. Eventually, they came to the conclusion that this was a result of Jirachi's wish and took N.N away from the girl - he sacrificed himself willingly. But despite fire, drowning for thirteen days, decapitation, crushing, and even being dropped off a mountain from exceedingly high heights, nothing they tried would kill him. As they discovered the nature of his origins, they came to the conclusion that if the girl died, then he will die, as he was created to be her friend. While he was buried underground, the villagers killed the girl.

He wasn't dug up until a thousand years later, at which point the village had begun to become more civilized. They had even begun to train the once called-'magical creatures', though their might forced the humans to treat them as equals. Needless to say, the people were shocked at discovering him, as stories of him and the girl had been passed down, having become 'The Epic of Gilgamesh'. Wherein a woman wished for a man who could equal her prowess and be a friend.

As he discovered, they worshipped the gods of the rainbows, who symbolized both death and rebirth, and whom was rumored to be capable of resurrecting the dead. From this, he left the place (which was to become Kanto) and journeyed to as many places as he could, some of them with the same beliefs of a flying beast that can revive the dead and rules over the skies. He came to the conclusion that it must be Legendary beast, similar to his creator. Now, while he did consider going to Jirachi for a wish of his own, he had utterly lost track of it.

N.N traveled everywhere, searching far and wide for the reality of the 'god of life'. He originally went westward, arriving at the places which were to become Hoenn and later on, Sinnoh. He tracked down many of the origins of religions that local people held, encountering many Legendaries in the process, but none of them had the power to revive the dead. Suicune sensed his desire and brought him to Celebi, who offered to send him back in time to meet her again, but he refused. While he did want the girl back, he understood that time itself was also important. His journey to the west came to an end with the lake guardians, who confirmed the phoenix god's existence and told him to head eastward, east of the land he was born in.

Encouraged, he returned, and N.N's search finally brought him to a place where all the rumors and beliefs were confirmed, an island that was ruled over by a birdlike god of death. Two countries warred against each other for possession of it, and he decided to divert his goal a bit by trying to make peace between the two. However, neither side would listen to him, and he was there when the Pokemon finally revealed itself and wrecked havoc on all the humans with lightning, spreading the islands into four sides. Everyone was killed, except for him. Desperately calling to Lugia amidst the growing floods and forming whirlpools, it saved him...but as he talked to it, he realized that it wasn't the Pokemon he was looking for. But Lugia did tell him the exact location of the one he desired; Bell Tower.

By then, centuries had passed since he had first been dug up. Arriving at an early Ecruteak City, he demonstrated his immortality and gained access to the scared tower, before climbing it. Upon reaching the top, he waited for seven days and seven nights until it finally appeared. The phoenix, lord of the skies, ruler of life and death, bringer of happiness, starter of dreams and hopes, it had many names. But the name by which it identified itself was a simple one - Ho-Oh. As it arrived, it gave him a questioning look, and he proceeded to explain everything he had gone through. His origins. His journey. All that he had done, all that he had sacrificed, for this one moment.

And then made his request.

"Bring her back. I ask only that.

For twelve hours it remained silent, and twelve hours he remained on his spot, waiting for its reply. And so finally, it spoke:

I refuse.

The girl is out of her own time. She died happy, knowing that even with her death, you will continue to live on. If I interfere with the cycle of life and death only to bring her back, the rest of humanity will come to me and ask for their loved ones to come back.

I must protect that balance.

In all this time, you have been her greatest friend. Loyally, you have stuck by her side, and even after all this time, you never gave up.

Gilgamesh, your journey has come to an end.

Now, what path will you choose?

He thought to himself.

I do not understand. Why will you not aid humanity?

...

Somewhere in history, he resurfaced and originally joined Team Aqua. He did not wish to interfere with time and space like Team Galactic and sensed Cyrus's evil intentions, but supported both Maxie's and Archie's goals. When Team Aqua was pushed out of the way, he switched sides to Team Magma, and although he wasn't really noticed or recognized, he was crucial to their success against the rest of the world. He told himself that the world would be a better place. Humanity needed the power of Groudon. After Groudon, it should be relatively simple to control Kyogre, and then the Creation Trio, and finally Ho-Oh itself.

But everything went downhill as Groudon snapped...and it happened. The Red Orb shattering. And the Merge. Maxie and many of the grunts accompanying him died in the ensuing chaos, he lost track of Courtney, and barely managed to save Tabitha at the cost of being trapped underground alongside the legendary Groudon, who went back into a slumber. For years he remained trapped inside the chamber of magma, within boiling heat, right alongside the colossal legend. It didn't speak to him. In fact, it may have even hated him.

Through sheer luck, an earthquake granted N.N entry to the surface again, and he managed to escape right before it closed again.

There, he learned about the new world that Team Magma had created, and realized his foolishness in attempting to control the gods. Instead, he came to one, simple conclusion.

If they will not cooperate with us, let them die.

Aligning himself with Team Purity's goals, he refused to identify himself or reveal his past. He refused to explain the dark crown he wore, fashioned from the hardened magma of Groudon's resting place. Ah, but of course, due to this mysteriousness (and seeming insanity), he was made a grunt. N.N doesn't mind. He has far greater plans in store for humanity, and they will learn to see it soon enough.

They will all learn to serve under King Gilgamesh.

Personality: He is exceedingly quiet and mysterious, nonchalant even, and secretly regards all other humans as inferior. He holds no grasp of science nor does he care to learn it, but has a surprisingly gigantic amount of tales and stories about Legendary Pokemon. In this way, he almost acts as a sort of human encyclopedia for Team Purity. When it comes to Legendary Pokemon, he expresses a hatred unlike any other. It isn't a noble hatred like Eon's, but a selfish hatred; as in he wants all their power for himself.

Most people tend to dismiss him as insane. He doesn't let other people know about his past at all, and adopted the name 'N.N' specifically to hide his true identity. His presence makes other people uncomfortable, but somehow, he remains to be among the generic grunts of the Team. Nobody can guess what goes on in his mind, but if they knew, they would realize that the truth is far, far worse. He honestly believes himself to be the only human being capable of leading humanity into the future.

While he hates all Legendaries, he expresses an explicit hatred for Ho-Oh (for refusing to interfere with death), and especially for Jirachi. He actually doesn't know why he hates Jirachi so much, possibly because it created him in the first place, or because it made him immortal.

Pokémon:

Pikachu

{Thunder/Iron Tail/Thunder Wave/Hidden Power}

Unown N x3

{Hidden Power}

Other: I doubt any mortal of this age knows his true identity, but the Legendary Pokemon will certainly recognize him.
Funny how 'grunt' makes everything seem so generic~ ;) I trust this is okay with you, Renegade?
Name: Jamie Fenikkusu
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Personality
Appearance: Jamie stands at about 5' 7", which is fair considering his age. Although most of the guys will still out-heighten him by a significant amount. He has a lazy left eye, which is oddly gold in colour, and often remains hidden beneath his hair. Jamie's lazy eye does move on occasion, but in order to get it to do so, Jamie has to close both eyes, and move his head before reopening them; and this trick works even if he only moves his head slightly. Jamie's skin is rather pale, and he remains androgynous in appearance; enough so that a careless glance is more than enough for one to pass him off as a girl.
Name: Aya Minatoshi

Rank: Grunt

Age: 24

Gender: Female

Personality: Aya is a rather serious, businesslike woman, fiercely dedicated to getting any task she is given done. She will pursue her goals vehemently, letting no-one get in the way. She is strong, both mentally and physically, and is a rather confident person, often taking on missions that no-one else has been able to do, such as the infiltration of Team Purity. She can at times even be over-confident, often misjudging the abilities of others and lowering her opinions of people based on first impressions, though she doesn't tend to do it often.

She is a rather sharp and quick-witted individual, and rather intelligent, as shown by the fact that she manages to complete not only her own Team Purity paperwork, but Major Samson's aswell, alongside the work she does secretly for the police. Her intelligence also comes out in her ability to manipulate people and their impressions of her.

She is rather loyal, despite her independance, and no-one sees more of this side than her pokémon. She treats each of her pokémon with a loving and caring attitude, leading them to be fiercely loyal and protective of her, obeying every command given, and protecting her with their life. Her battling style is largely focussed towards avoiding getting them damaged, though their is some aggression, particularly in the battle strategy of Mightyena and Luxray, her main powerhouses.
Aya-Brea-Parasite-Eve-Gun-Jeans-Woman-Gi

Has a gun holster under her left arm; hidden with a simple, black leather jacket that she generally wears.
Bio: Aya isn't in fact a true member of Team Purity. Or, at least, she's not loyal to them, not truely. In fact, she is merely a very good actress. Aya's true loyalties actually lie with the Totus national police force, and she has merely infiltrated Team Purity completely unnoticed by anyone.

She has been a part of the Team for the last 3 years, acting as a Grunt under Richard Samson's command, slowly gaining the trust of the higher ups. While assisting the team with various operations, and doing most of Major Samson's work for him, she has been slowly siphoning information about the Team's activities and collective knowledge towards her superiors in the police. She has, however, yet to meet with Eon, possibly the most wanted man in Totus, something which she is working towards, so that she might provide a more full description of the man, and possibly aid with his capture. She has also been attempting to gain access to the R&D department, though she isn't treated with a positive attitude when she attempts contact; possibly due to her 'relations' with Richard Samson.

She obviously has no problem with any legendaries, and is infact working towards thwarting Team Purity's goal of destroying them all, and aims to make contact with some of the Guardians if she encounters them.

Her past to the rest of Team Purity is merely a simple one, and a fake one. She was an office worker who was bored of her simple life, and wanted to be part of something that would make her feel more morally right, and so believed that Team Purity offered her that opportunity; the opportunity to be a better person.
Name: Richard Samson

Rank: Major

Age: 39

Gender: Male

Personality: Richard is, at first glance, a rather militant person, fitting the position of leader by appearance alone. He appears as if he would be a rather strict person, enforcing marching and the like, or calling out orders and commanding respect from everyone he controls. And yet, he is anything but. Despite insisting on such a military appearance, he betrays a rather relaxed and laidback attitude most of the time. He procrastinates on most of his work, leaving it up to Aya - his Second in command - to complete all the paper work and such, and often appears to irritate the hard-working people amongst Team Purity. He spends a majority of his time drunk, or at least acting like it - he seems to be incredibly tolerant to the effects of alcohol, and can turn on and off the drunken attitude like a lightswitch - and attempts to be quite a womanizer while acting drunk, flirting with almost any woman he comes across.

This womanizing attitude is commonly aimed at his fellow Major, Moira Van Shroder (though he seems to always be given a cold shoulder), and shows that he is one of the few people not fearful or deterred by her stoic and indifferent personality, just as he is confident of the fact he is one of the few people she wouldn't be able to 'read'. Mainly because he knows that no-one could read him, even he himself struggles at times. Why? Because he's pretty much insane. And admits it. He is an unpredictable gamble, unreadable and uncontrollable. As he hides himself under his disguise of a lazy drunkard, it is hard to distinguish what exactly goes on in his mind; even his reasons for joining Purity aren't completely understood, as he claims it was merely for the fun of it.

He hides quite an intuitive intelligence, holding a rather uniquely deductive mind, with which he can gather a rather comprehensive story about a person from some of the smallest facts or impressions about them; telling quite a bit of their past merely from 5 minutes interaction. He also holds an incredibly large collection of books, on subjects ranging from Legendary pokémon and Cosmic Phenomenon to the diet of a Yanma or the difference between types of pebbles, giving him quite an extensive knowledge on multiple subjects.

Adding to the multitude of talents he seems to have, his military training makes him an incredibly valuable asset, for his tactition mind and his physical talents, such as incredible endurance and fighting prowess make him rather useful in multiple situations. And he has passed much of this talent down to his pokémon and subordinates, putting both through a rather rigorous training regime that not only can turn people into killing machines, but has also inspired incredible loyalty from his subjects, despite his external appearance and attitude.

His battle style fits his personality, in that it's extremely unpredictable. Often the most random attacks will be used, and yet will have some detrimental effect on the opponent. He has no set strategies, and can go from a brute force barrage of attacks to a stalling & strategic battle in seconds. His military background allows him to realise strategies that might be missed by others, and means he can make the most of any situation or moveset.
Chosokabe-Motochika-anime-guys-18046898-
Richard stands at a mildly tall 6'2", and supports himself with an exceedingly muscular & sturdy, yet lithe and agile build. He generally dons rather military-like apparel, and requires the same uniform from most of his subordinates. This generally just consists of rather suit-like attire, with various weapon holsters on his own (up to the wearer's discretion for his subordinates) and two emblems; one for Team Purity on the chest and one for their Purity Ranking on the left shoulder.
Underneath this suit - or if he is in a more casual/undercover situation - he wears a much more practical attire consisting of a black tank top and cargo pants, and a belt holding 8 pokéballs, showing his disregard for the law. He will often occasionally wear a simple, light brown cap as well, specifically in bright sunshine so as to shade his eye; he covers the empty eye socket on his left with a black eyepatch (see pic)
Bio: Richard was practically adopted into the recently formed Totus military at the age of 11, suffering from severe Amnesia which left him only able to remember his name, age and how to function(i.e speak, etc). He was discovered by a small group of soldiers in the north, searching for any remnants of the criminal teams of old, and after discovering his amnesia, they quickly took him in. That, and the promise that he had shown. As if instinctively, when approached, he somehow managed to disarm 3 of the 6 soldiers in the group, coming to a stalemate with the other 3, extremely well trained soldiers. Seeing his potential, they took him back to their main base, where he spent the next 13 years training, becoming part of the 'best of the best' category that every military seems to have.

However, while he was extremely talented, reliable and fearsome - one of very few people to claim a 100% success rate - he was a major wild card in the military rankings. Fearing his unpredictability and killer instinct, close tabs were constantly kept on him, and he was rather limited in his rankings, with the 'higher ups' not wanting to give him too much power. Not that he argued - a lower position left him with more fieldwork.

But their worries were rightly placed; he just couldn't be contained, and one day he found himself rather 'bored' and merely sent himself on a killing spree. He managed to pretty much level a camp of nearly 1000 men with only his trusted Blastoise to aid him, leading him to be wanted rather heavily by the military.

Luckily for him (or the military; whoever you doubt the most), he was being watched during his massacre. While on the run, he was approached by Team Purity, who had no qualms about his psychopathic nature, and sincerely prized his killer tendencies. Needing some protection, and seeing them as a way to keep him from boredom, he quickly joined, progressing rapidly through the ranks to become one of the top commanders, aged only 26. Despite his high position, he still does a lot of fieldwork, prefering the action over the paperwork; a field that a majority of his subordinates seem to specialise in, luckily enough.

He has been asked multiple times for his reasons behind joining, or why he wants to destroy the legendaries, but has never bothered to give a straight answer. Most hear 'for the fun of it' or 'to have something to do', though some claim he has said that he just doesn't like the idea of something stronger than himself, and wishes to crush any belief of that. Possibly the closest answer to the truth has only been heard by a few people (Aya and Eon being two of them), in the few moments he is actually serious and acts sane: He wants to know who he is, and where he came from, and the Legendaries may just be able to answer that for him.

He seems to have no specific targets, but does seem to be searching more for 'true' legendaries; the ones who head their respective group. Suspecting an accumulation of the legendaries at this 'tournament of legends', he has assigned himself to it, along with his second in command Aya to accompany him.

blastoise.jpg
Male - Rain Dish - Hydro Cannon, Flash Cannon, Rain Dance, Earthquake

"The aggressive core of my team. A power house in every sense of the words, and my oldest companion. No other being I know of could've survived the intense training I put this guy through, and as such I know of no other pokémon I would rather have on my team. While my other pokémon make require occasional tactics or smart planning, I dont even need to command this one; his sheer force is often enough to destroy most enemies."

haz_globulorb004_APR2011.jpg
Male - Static - Electro Ball, Swift, Flash, Double Team

"One of the faster pokémon on my team, beaten only by Accelgor. His speed and moveset make him nearly impossible to hit once he's set up, and yet he will never miss the opponent, making him the 'sniper' of my team, despite his apparent destructive capabilities."

drawemall_collab___gigalith_by_pajara_sa
Male - Sturdy - Iron Defense, Stone Edge, Earthquake, Gravity

"An incredible defensive core of my team; not only does he provide a near unbreachable physical defense, he holds an insane amount of physical prowess, emphasised in the formidable EdgeQuake Combo set; a move duo that is only enhanced by the presence of Gravity, negating the only hole in the combo - Levitaters."

617___agirudaa_by_winter_freak-d362omk.j
Female - Hydration - Me First, Double Team, Bug Buzz, Substitute

"A true Ninja, Accelgor is the fastest and stealthiest pokémon on my team, able to produce clones of itself, substitute itself with the environment to protect itself from damage and to utilise the opponent's moves against them, she appears to be untouchable. Her ability to wear down an opponent is invaluable."

realistic_alakazam_by_zeeyang-d2zamje.jp
Male - Magic Guard - Teleport, Calm Mind, Psychic, Energy Ball

"Alakazam provides an intelligence that you would struggle to find in another pokémon. His expertise in battling is invaluable, and his tactics often mean I dont even need to communicate with him. He has the ability to communicate with me via Telepathy as well, providing me valuable conversation with my pokémon."

tumblr_m7bt48c5JC1qi8bfq.gif
Male - Sniper - Gunk Shot, Rock Blast, Water Spout, Flamethrower

"Another long range fighter, Octillery acts like my own personal set of artillery. The enemy often doesn't even get close during a barrage of Rock Blast, or a full frontal Flamethrower."

magmortarpixeloverej9.gif
Male - Flame Body - Confuse Ray, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Barrier

"A powerful being, to be sure, but not without its surprises. A strong Barrier can lead it to being almost indestructible when encountering physical attackers."

161.png
Female - Keen Eye - Sucker Punch, Hyper Voice, Iron Tail, Rest

"My perfect sentry, and the newest addition to my group. Sentret has never let me down in spotting enemies, and while she has little battle prowess compared to my other pokémon, she is much more powerful than her fellow Sentret. She sits upon my shoulder at most times, which also works as a handy addition to a disguise; pokémon on your shoulder seems to be a rising trend."

Other:
~ Ambidextrous
~ Has a large supply of Voltorbs for their SelfDestruct move, for use as weapons rather than pokémon. Some also know Flash, for use as disorientating grenades.
~Also owns a variety of weapons, including a Semi-Automatic Handgun that rests at his right hip at all times and a folding assault-rifle that is often stored over his back.
'Aya', his second in command, will be done soon.

Accepted.

Accepted! I like this character a lot, although his lack of Pokemon is quite interesting.

Thanks~ for a second, I was worried he might be going overboard a bit. And yeah, the lack of Pokemon thing is intentional. Really, the Unown are only there to be his floating board when he wants to fly, and Pikachu of all 600+ Pokemon....well, it seemed appropriate.

Just so that we are clear guys, because in the last thread it became a problem, housing will occur in hotels around Archanum city. If you wish to lodge in the same hotel as another player, that it is completely fine, just thought I should let you all know.

Also, we will be closing this opening round of posting soon, so make sure you get all the set up done you want. It will probably go through tomorrow, maybe a little bit of Wednesday.

@MagnetBomb: Are you going to be in this RP or not?
