Well, my next post in the in-character thread is going to be my hundredth, so I want to make it count. Going to wait until Otto responds and I have something for Xansvita and Gogiga to do.

Take your time, I'm moving anyway so I probably shouldn't have my computer attached to my hip so I can get things done.

I had to guess where Predaking and Clerano would currently be for my next post. I figured it would be somewhere in the fields, so I hope I got that right.

I'm about to start making edits to the app for Blaze Firasta, but honestly, I'd much rather have some other way of working him in other than Exilion, because to me, that just completely corrupts his character. Even if Exilion is no longer who he is, that's still a part of his past, and that's likely to haunt him and me both. =_=

Alright, I'll change the image to the Tumblr one then. Wonder why it doesn't work. Is Danbooru only accessible in eastern countries, by any chance?

walking armor with no head

Viligance does have a head :I well, it's a helmet, but still a head.

Then why did you accept Tsunugai when the RP he's in didn't exist at the time, hypocrite? <_<

Because I had proof that he already existed. Don't you remember our PM conversations about the Paladins of Emeralda? You came up with the name and the character concept there, and I was there to see it. This was prior to the creation of the RP. Plus, I trusted you to create the RP origin fairly soon, and yes, you did just that.

The same applies for others. As long as I have proof of their origin, I can accept them.

Hey Merciful, you forgot to add Arthuria's response to Richard and Tsunugai's sudden appearance before him.

And his response to Predaking charging into Camelot, and his explanation to him and Kratos about what's going on, and his observation of Lydia's funeral, yes, I still have quite a bit to post about. But Arthuria's POV takes more time than I have right now. Maybe later at night, I might be able to make it, but it'd be easier to wait until Friday.

It's possible, since I managed to access the image all right.

Anyway, made my character just wander around in the castle for now, kinda unsure about how to interact with the rest as of now.

Also, is a main character for a canon series allowed? Kinda unsure since the rule stated that they are off-limits, but Kratos is here.

Alright, I don't even know how I managed to work this much, as I'm really lazy, but I managed to get everything done in comprehensive detail except personality and background, which I'll finish later, because I need to make an IC post for CS now, and tomorrow, I have this Thanksgiving thing that I need to go to, and I'll be gone for a lot of the day.

The app has been updated. Your ruling, Merciful idiot?

"If you go easy on me, you're going to get hurt."

Username: Shadow Zero

Name: Blaze Firasto

Age: Indeterminate

Gender: Appears to be male

Appearance:

[spoiler=image]

250px-Mmx2flamestag.jpg

Origin: I'll find the link after this is posted.

Biography: Blaze Firasto was originally a Net Navigator program known as Exilion.Exe. In his universe, he and his Net Operator Viral were part of a group that worked together to bring down some of the most dangerous villains and cybervillains in their world. However, one enemy got the better of them. While trapped in a fusion between real world and cyberspace due to a global virtual field that allowed the real world and cyberspace to interact, Viral was attacked. He synchornized with his Exiolion.exe for the two of them to become one being and bring down their enemies. However, they were unprepared for theie enemy's ultimate weapon, which almost completely destroyed them in one shot, and left them adrift in cyberspace.

Barely alive and badly damaged, the two of them were found by Shadronus Zeravo and brough into his realm. This being during a period of time when Shadronus was still quite mad, they were made his next experiment subjects, as he researched the fusion of the digital and the physical. During the process, he repaired their data, and made many alterations and enhancements to them. They lost their memory of who they were in the process, and remodeled after Flame Stagger, a Repliroid from the Mega Man universe. They now being a single entity, He was given a new name, Blaze Firasto, but Blaze was not content with being a prison of Shadronus's domain. He sought to free himself and begin living his own life, which he only barely managed to achieve at a time when Shadronus was intent on another one of his projects. Having accomplished this by damaging a machine that Shadronus used to tap into the timestream to view any point in time and space that he wished, he was blasted into hypertime, and into the world where the namesake that he was modeled after had originated.

Though this was where Flame Stagger was born, it was many hundred years after that time, and there was a war being waged. After many failed attempts at finding someone who could tell him where he was and what was going on, Blaze found his way to a Maverick Hunter who, while astonished that Blaze didn't seem to understand what was going on, still filled him in. Blaze volunteered to help, and after passing all of the required tests with increasingly satisfactory marks, he was enlisted as a Maverick Hunter. As the war raged on, Blaze led several successful battles, reclaiming lost territory, and even capturing Mavericks to be taken back to HQ and plugged into a machine that could correct the coding in their system so that they were no longer Mavericks, and could be trained as Maverick Hunters. Blaze also recieved numerous upgrades that increased his fighting capabilities, and even given a program that would allow him to analyze the abilities of the enemies that he was fighting and create his own version of the attacks that they used, as long as the techniques weren't completely incompatible with his system.

During the final siege against the last Maverick stronghold, the Maverick's final resort was revealed; a weapon with enough power to punch a hole in the fabric of reality. In spite of the best efforts that the Maverick Hunters could muster, the weapon fired, slowly tearing apart the entire world. Blaze Firasto was trapped in the blast, and began falling into the Abyss. In that moment, he saw a man not too far from him. Assuming that it was the same man that had imprisoned him in that accursed domain of his, Blaze rocketed away without even giving the man a chance to speak. Now he is falling through the sky, about to have one of his biggest crash landings ever.

Personality: Blaze Firasto is a warrior, but he also yearns for a peaceful life. He fights not out of necessity or want of battle, but to better himself and perfect the Way of the Fire Fist, a combination of fire attacks and martial arts disciplines. Blaze is not the social type, in the strictest of senses, but he is able to get along with others. When he meets fellow warriors, he makes it clear that he's up for a fight any time, and that he won't hold back. In spite of this, and his occasional hot-headedness, Blaze always makes sure that he treats everyone with the utmost respect, and even shows more deference to his foes than anyone else would. He's even been known to refuse fighting someone if that person is injured or weak, insisting that to due so would be a stain on his honor. He never makes exceptions to this rule, except when the lives and fates of others are on the line in that immediate moment.

Faction: Counter Corps.

Important Artifact Stolen: The artifact stolen from Blaze's dimension is unknown at this time, but it is thought that the final weapon of the Maverick Insurrectionists had it's core composed of the core fragments of the Original Sigma, X, and Zero, as well as the core fragments of the nine Biometals. As for the dimension he was from as Exilion, there's no way to tell what it could be. The best guess is that it's a piece of data, or even a whole program. For all we know, it could even be a net-navi.

Powers/Equipment: Blaze Firasto is a highly advanced heavily modified, battle-ready Repliroid unit. However, in the time period of the universe he adopted, the line between Repliroid and Human has become so blurred that by the time of his creation, Repliroids and humans were able to mate and have families for centuries. As such, while Blaze appears human in his powered down form, he has a heat core capable of reaching unusually high temperatures, even for a fire Repliroid, and is only kept in check by some in-built regulators. This allows him to generate flames from several points in his body. He is also capable of fire-bending, an art that he learned while being held captive in Shadronus Zeravo's domain, in addition to creating his own plasma or fire based versions of weapons, abilities, and techniques that he has studied and analyzed.  His armor is capable of withstanding armor piercing rounds, most types of corrosive materials, liquids, etc., military grade explosives, and even nukes, as long as their not dropped directly on him. If necessary, his armor can even withstand the assault of a giant laser cannon, but only for a limited amount of time, and at the cost of severe damage to his armor.

... so, after 6 hours of lolligaggin', tiny odd jobs, and just being overall crazy, I have finally made my post.

... would it be possible to suggest that any NPC introduced by someone is free to be adopted as a Player Character? 'Cuz I kinda ended up doing that a lot in this RP.

Also, I think it's safe to say that Umbris has taken more of a thrashing in that one post than anyone not named LERNA has over the course of the first two Arcs. :-3

I have never heard of Haunting Ground of Clock Tower.

But yeah, Sam, you have a LOT of NPCs. Frankly, it's a wonder that they don't get involved in the actual arcs beyond you not having the space for all of them.

Don't worry, Admiral, I was thinking of having Eria talk with Sarah, it's just that she has to talk with Otto first.

So for this one I've decided to go all the way back to one of my first RPs on this site.  See how well I can play the character now.

The toughest part was probably updating her abilites, they were pretty vague back then.  In particular, I had to buff the dagger and weaken the shortsword, because, well, depending on what she's fighting, the shortsword could have been an 'auto-win' button.  And the dagger was super specific for the RP it was in, so I just widened its abilities to include similar creatures, running off the theme of 'self' I had when making the character way back when.

I kinda fear there may be something objectionable in this app, so feel free to object away if there is something there.  Her usefulness varies wildly depending on the situation; and that was planned.

[spoiler=App]
Application:

"No matter what happens from now on, I am, and always will be, Sharon Caile!"

Username: encapturer

Name: Sharon Caile / 'Necra'

Age: 23 when she was killed.

Gender: Female

Appearance: Sharon Caile is a blonde, tall, busty woman who would not be misplaced on a college campus.  She prefers to wear a loose short sleeved blouse, shorts, and shoes, for ease of movement.  Her hair is often tied into a ponytail that goes about halfway down her back.  She was a jewelled bracelet on her left arm, as well as a dagger sheath tied around her waist.  There is nothing in the sheath.

Necra looks something like what's in the spoiler at the end of this section.  She's shorter than Sharon, but also wears an empty dagger sheath.

Both characters tend to carry themselves the exact same way.  They seem to be kind of aloof and unfocused, as long as they aren't pretending to be something else, that is.

[spoiler=Necra]

2yl8ns9.jpg

Origin: Thru the Valley of the Shadow of Death

Biography: Since joining the group back in her home world, Sharon has had a remarkable transformation, even more remarkable than when she became Necra.  She regained her old body... and kept the Necra body, as well as replacing her old crappy ability with a couple of cool new powers for her trouble.  Unfortunately, soon after that the whole world was being split apart - Ignis' cauldron disappearing on its own seemed to have caused a chain reaction that would crumble the world.  She survived in this harsh world on her own for about a year, mastering the use of two bodies, before that fateful meeting happened...

Personality: Sharon is selfish and strong willed, and will stop at nothing to get what she wants. Her friends would call her nice and kind, since she hides her more unkind traits from them. She would not hesitate to steal something for a friend if they wanted it, though.  That was how she was before, and the end of the world has only intensified those traits.  She is dismissive of authority, due to living in a lawless world, but is very compassionate... due to living in a lawless world.  Surprisingly, her selfishness has diminished - mostly due to the fact that she doesn't really need much to 'live'; she can almost be called selfless now, if not for the fact that she still has a strong will and is very opinionated.

Faction: The Counter Corps

Important Artifact Stolen: Ignis' birth cauldron, from which spawned countless demons, including the original Necra.  It's more of a giant stone pit of flame rather than a cooking tool.

Powers/Equipment:
 - Identity of Self
Identity of Self was Sharon Caile's original ability before she was killed.  It simply is a supernatural sense of self.  It was strong enough such that when Necra killed her and tried to manipulate what remained, Sharon ended up taking over Necra's body instead.  It is a passive ability, and an unpredictable one, but know that trying to control or manipulate Sharon by magical or supernatural means will end badly for you.

 - Two Bodies, Single Soul
Due to her awakening, Sharon was able to recreate her original body.  The Necra body that she inhabited until then still existed however.  The cool thing was that they were both 'Sharon Caile' - she simply existed in both bodies at once.  Most people might find this disorienting, but thanks to Identity of Self, Sharon adapted quickly to her new existence.  The most notable thing is that Sharon experiences both bodies' senses simultaneously, with all the perks (and drawbacks)  that entails.

- Demonic Form
Since both bodies are based off of Necra, who was originally a demon, they have a couple of interesting traits.  They do not need to eat, sleep or breathe.  They have minor regenerative powers and have boundless stamina.  They do not age, and will not die of natural causes.  If anyone can sense demons, both bodies will show as demonic.

 - Dagger of Evil's Bane
Sharon did not name the dagger.  It is an extension of her self, born from her time being corrupted as a servant of Ignis.  This dagger is sinister looking black-curved dagger, but it has the unique ability to deal severe damage to 'evil' beings.  The evil must be in their inner nature; a human generally wouldn't qualify for the bonus damage, regardless of what nasty things they did.  On the other hand, one who exist merely to maim, tourture, kill, destroy, or is generally malicious for the sake of being malicious would do well to fear the blade.  Think 'evil' as a force of nature, unable to be negotiated with.  The damage scales depending on how close to this pure 'evil' state the target is.  As it is an extension of Sharon's self, she can summon it and unsummon it at will.  Used by the Necra body.

 - Blade of Purity's Light
Sharon did not name this shortsword.  It is an extension of her self, born from her time being manipulated as a servant of Ignis.  This shortsword is pearly white that always gives off a faint light.  This light has an averse effect to corrupting agents: anything that tries to reduce, change, or subvert one's self.  If this light strikes one under a corrupting agent, their true self will shine through.  Of couse, more powerful corruptants will not yield control of their hosts easily, requiring extended time in the light for the true self to resurface.  During this time, the target may find it tougher to act, depending on what the true self wants to do.  Sharon may choose to raise the shortsword high above her head to increase the brightness of the light, letting it shine further.  As an extension of Sharon's self, she can summon and unsummon it at will.  Used by Sharon's original body.

 - Human skills
Sharon has the skills of a thief and is a agile, sometimes scrappy fighter.  While probably one of the best in her home world when it comes to fighting due to her experiences, there is nothing supernatural about her abilities.

Hmm... I was hoping more for a response to Aesir, actually. He did just arrive to the scene thinking Predaking was on the attack and not wanting to take any chances after all.

Though if you wanna respond to Sarah as well Kingdom, that's fine.

Already done for both, actually. Although, I may need to edit Ratchet's interaction with Aesir a bit, unless you think it's fine as-is.

Well, why the hell not?

[spoiler=Introducing...Character #3!]"I've seen many mistakes made in other universes, but the time to fix them is now..."

Username: Muten Roshi

Name: Maxwell

Age: 35

Gender: Male

[spoiler=Appearance]WMA2ndMartialArtist.png

This is the main makeup of his appearance, but there is some changes. The fingerless gloves are adapted to be full-finger gloves with metal plating similar to what's on the pic on the back on the fingers. Maxwell also has a sheath on his left containing a ninjaken sword from his ally Jin.

Origin: Dragon Ball AF(My version of it anyway)

Biography: Unknown to many other than his allies, Maxwell was born in a universe where it appeared to have been chosen to be an agent of the multiverse (Along with his allies). At first, he merely used it to grow stronger and change the fate of his own universe, ruled by the king of space known as Xicor. His first main mission was to set forth towards a universe going through what appeared to be the same moments in time that would eventually lead to the beginning of Xicor's rule. He had saved the warriors of said universe in time and prepared to face Xicor one by one. Naturally, since the universe was in the time of Xicor coming to Earth for the first time, the common enemy was far weaker.

And because of the power the 5 seem to exude without much effort, it was definitely assured that history would not begin once more in another universe. Using the power of Super Kaioken x20, Maxwell was close to destroying his enemy, but it wasn't enough. It was then he realized that his latent powers weren't at its limit. How could that be? He was at the strongest he could get at the moment, so what was missing? How about the fact that Xicor had Maxwell's parents murdered at a young age. It was a memory he never knew he had. But that caused him to explode in a way that overwhelmed Xicor to the point of being able to do nothing. Using an Instantaneous Transmission Kamehameha on the hybrid, Xicor was finally finished, his mission in another universe over.

10 years and the death of 3 out of 5 of Xicor's most powerful generals (In Maxwell's universe) later, Maxwell and his allies discovered something amazing: old scrolls containing a mystical set of 7 items that, when gathered together, will grant 2 wishes that are within the being's power and does not involve killing. To Maxwell's surprise, he actually had one of those items. Since they all had stars on them, 1 through 7, he realized he had the 4-Star ball. When he looked for it, it was gone. In fact, it appeared as though the universe was out of whack at that point. He even had visions of what was meant to happen. What was supposed to happen, was that his ally Jin would destroy a section of Xicor's army. But instead, he met the opposite fate.

Taking Jin's sword in remembrance and vengeance, Maxwell prepared to do the unthinkable. However, a man unfamiliar to him came into his presence one night. He introduced himself as Arthuria, one of the Counter Guardians. Oddly enough, the faction name rang a bell to Maxwell, but he knew little of them. Arthuria knew of Maxwell's responsibilities as a Multiverse agent, so that's why he came to Maxwell. It also appeared that he spoke to his ally Kurai, possibly the last Namekian on Earth. Knowing that he's need a little help, he convinced Kurai to join him in this battle. But as much as the others wished to join them, that would be too much of a risk to do so. Without at least one rebel fighting back Xicor's forces, then it's only get stronger. And that's the last thing anyone needs right then and there.

Without a second thought, Maxwell and Kurai set out to join the Counter Corps and help to return the Multiverse to normal and get their old friend back...

Personality: Being the leader of the rebel force of his universe, Maxwell has taken on many responsibilities. He is very loyal and will do as much as he's willing to in order to fight against the opposing kingdom of his world and protect his allies as well. Being a strategist in the most common sense, Maxwell knows how to get out of sticky situations. He also has a sense of justice where he believes that the higher authority in his world that judge all others are the ones who must truly be judged and convicted for the false judgment of the world. But the fact being that Maxwell will fight to the very end regardless of who is winning or not. Let's just say that when he goes through anything traumatic in his life, his anger would explode, and a sense of unforgiveness will come from it.

Being an agent of the Multiverse is tough, and his physical scars (that he has hidden well) along with his emotional scars are more than enough to show for that. Being responsible for his entire rebel force and taking on the burden of losing one seemed like too much for Maxwell to handle. But he has the ability to withstand from turning insane. No tragedy is worth risking his own sanity and losing his own life in the process. And now that he has a chance to make things right, he now has a purpose that could actually save the ENTIRETY of the Multiverse. If his purpose has been changed to high priority, then everything else isn't as important until this job is done. And hopefully, the time will come that the world will return to normal...

Faction: Counter Corps

Important Artifact Stolen: 4-Star Dragon Ball

Powers/Equipment:

Abilities

  • Flight
  • Ki Blast - The most basic form of his power. He can shoot off multiple at a time, or concentrate his energy to launch larger blasts with more damage.
  • Zenkai - A staple ability for Saiyans or those with Saiyan blood. When faced with any form of injury and recovers (Including near-death experiences), Maxwell's own limit of power will increased based on the conditions in which he recovered. With how much power he gains, it's always different.
  • Ki-Shield - One of multiple moves Maxwell created himself. By casting large amounts of Ki into the ground, he can create a near-impenetrable dome to protect himself for a limited amount of time.
  • Kamehameha - His most powerful and most known attack. Maxwell cuffs his hands until a large ball of Ki forms, in which he thrusts forward to unleash a powerful blast of Ki. Can be altered to fit strategies or advantages.
  • Quake Ball - Another custom-made attack. Maxwell casts a small ball of Ki (Which is actually highly concentrated) and throws into the ground (At times giving the illusion that he missed an opponent). Creating a hole in the ground, the Ki begins to simulate an earthquake, summoning pillars of Ki jutting out of the ground that follow the opponent for a short amount of time.
  • Mystic Sword Slash - Using Jin's sword, Maxwell summons a large sphere of Ki. He slashes through it multiple times, creating Ki slashes that can tear off a limb if given the opportunity.

Transformations

  • Kaioken - Maxwell's aura turns to crimson, consuming his body with it. Can have up to a 20x multiplier, multiplying his power by 40 at max. However, the longer the duration of said transformation will lead to an increase of pain and fatigue when reverting back to his base state.
  • Full-Power Super Saiyan - Once a transformation filled with rage and unforgiveness is now a powered up version in which can be controlled at will. Maxwell's hair stands up as high as possible and turns gold. His eyes turn green and his aura turns that of gold as well. With this transformation, his power is multiplied by 50. His strength and speed are also increased exponentially.
  • Super Kaioken - A special version of Kaioken that can be activated while Maxwell is a Super Saiyan. The multipliers are reduced to 10, and the drawbacks are doubled that of normal Kaioken.
  • Super Saiyan 2 - A powerful level beyond that of a Super Saiyan, filled with even more rage than a normal Super Saiyan. The hair begins to substantially grow as the aura more than likely represents actual violent flames. Also, so much power is being exerted out that lightning sparks throughout said aura. His power doubles that of a Super Saiyan.
  • Super Kaioken 2 - Maxwell's most powerful enhancement, as it is Kaioken while in Super Saiyan 2. Multipliers only go up to 5 with this transformation, as the risks are doubled from that of Super Kaioken.

And yes, I will keep in mind not to go overboard with what I have for this guy. I will try to make sure to only use the OP abilities when it's ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. Plus, in case I'm given permission to be OP and beat up somebody, at least I have those powers there to refer to.

But be glad I didn't add Spirit Bomb, regardless if he knows it or not.

Also, I intend on using my fourth spot later on. That'll be soon.

Sharon would be just about the perfect counter for Ayame, between the sword that would weaken the remnants hold on her body, and the dagger which would have a significant increase in damage against her, between the nature of the shadow realm that the remnants still have, and the innate nature of being a half-demon.

Also, is a main character for a canon series allowed? Kinda unsure since the rule stated that they are off-limits, but Kratos is here.

Oh yeah, I forgot all about that ruling for Kratos.

...

Ah well, I admit I made a mistake there. Guess we can just throw that specific rule out of the window then. I originally had some sort of plan with it, but by now, it's mostly invalid.

@Satsui no Hadou: Much better ^_^ accepted~ although I feel sorry for Arthuria. Emiya had a pretty smooth time with recruits, but his successor has had to drag three people into his reality marble without explaining anything.

@Encapturer: Accepted~ puny humans are always appreciated, and yet, she totally makes up for that drawback by having a really powerful dagger weapon. Indeed, her usefulness depends on the situation. Looking forward to seeing her in action.

@Muten Roshi: I...don't know about this one, but if I had to come to a conclusion, I say lock Super Saiyan 2 entirely, and conserve the normal Super Saiyan transformation for when you somehow get permission to be OP'd. His base abilities are already enough to place him at top tier, and even if all these powers are far weaker than anyone in canon DBZ, Kaioken on its own is already enough to make him near-unbeatable. If you agree, then I'll accept it.
