SunKistRebelution Posted September 28, 2013 Report Share Posted September 28, 2013 This is a written card archetype that is intended to give synchro and fusion monsters another added purpose to combat the popularity of XYZs. These cards are not necessarily intended to work together but are designed as the equivalent of the Earthbound Immortals for a potential RP I'm thinking of starting up. They currently do not have a good counterpart archetype. Who knows I may think of one eventually. Also, to reiterate, these are NOT PRIMARILY intended to work together but can if that should need to happen. Anyway tell me what you think. First up is the marquis card of the set needed to bring them out: A Tale of Dark Origin Spell Card -No card effects can be activated in response to this card. Tribute 1 Level 7 or higher monster you control and send 1 card from you Extra Deck to the Graveyard whose Level is equal to the Tributed Monster's Level. Then, target 1 face-down "Dark Origin" monster in your Banished Zone and Special Summon it; place a number of Void Counters equal to the Level of the Tributed Monster. Its Summon cannot be negated. ---------- Next up are the actual monsters: Hound of Dark Origin Beast/Effect/Dark/11/2900/2600 -Before each duel, place this card face-down in the Banished Zone. Must first be Special Summoned by the effect of "A Tale of Dark Origin"; then, inflict 1000 points of damage to your opponent. During your Draw Phase, draw an additional card. Once per turn, you may remove 1 Void Counter from this card; skip your opponent's next Draw Phase. Kanga of Dark Origin Beast/Effect/Dark/11/2700/2800 Before each duel, place this card face-down in the Banished Zone. Must first be Special Summoned by the effect of "A Tale of Dark Origin"; then, inflict 1000 points of damage to your opponent. During your Standby Phase, if you control less monsters than your opponent, you may Special Summon 1 Monster from your hand. Once per turn, you may remove 1 Void Counter from this card; skip your opponent's next Standby Phase. Leo of Dark Origin Beast/Effect/Dark/11/2800/2700 -Before each duel, place this card face-down in the Banished Zone. Must first be Special Summoned by the effect of "A Tale of Dark Origin"; then, inflict 1000 points of damage to your opponent. During your Main Phase 1, you may activate Trap Cards from your hand. Once per turn, you may remove 1 Void Counter from this card; skip your opponent's next Main Phase 1. Ursa of Dark Origin Beast/Effect/Dark/11/3000/2500 -Before each duel, place this card face-down in the Banished Zone. Must first be Special Summoned by the effect of "A Tale of Dark Origin"; then, inflict 1000 points of damage to your opponent. During your Battle Phase, the effects of monsters controlled by your opponent are negated. Once per turn, you may remove 1 Void Counter from this card; skip your opponent's next Battle Phase. Boar of Dark Origin Beast/Effect/Dark/11/2500/3000 -Before each duel, place this card face-down in the Banished Zone. Must first be Special Summoned by the effect of "A Tale of Dark Origin"; then, inflict 1000 points of damage to your opponent. During your Main Phase 2, you may Normal Summon an additional time. Once per turn, you may remove 1 Void Counter from this card; skip your opponent's next Main Phase 2. Ape of Dark Origin Beast/Effect/Dark/11/2600/2900 -Before each duel, place this card face-down in the Banished Zone. Must first be Special Summoned by the effect of "A Tale of Dark Origin"; then, inflict 1000 points of damage to your opponent. During your End Phase, destroy 1 card on the field, except this card. Once per turn, you may remove 1 Void Counter from this card; skip your opponent's next End Phase. ---------- Finally, we have some assorted S/T support: Force-Wave of Dark Origin Counter Trap Card -Negate an attack. If there is a "Dark Origin" Monster on your side of the field remove up to 2 Void Counters from it; then, inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each Void Counter removed this way. If there is a "Dark Origin" Monster in your Graveyard, banish it face-down. Wards of Dark Origin Continuous Spell Card -Place 1 Void Counter on every "Dark Origin" Monster on the field. "Dark Origin" Monsters cannot be destroyed while they have at least 1 Void Counter on them. Every time a "Dark Origin" Card would be destroyed, remove 1 Void Counter from a card you control. Retelling a Dark Origin QP Spell Card -This card is treated as "A Tale of Dark Origin". Special Summon 1 "Dark Origin" Monster in your Graveyard.
