Welcome to Club Espeon V2.
After dropping into obscurity during the past 2 years, it's time for it to return...better than ever before.
Before I forget, if I mention any dates, it'll be using the USA date format (month-day-year). That means if I write something like 10/12/2013, it means October 12 and not December 10 for those of you who use the other format.
Pokemon XY (Anime/games)
Suggestions for topic ideas are listed on post #3; I may start implementing that some time after XY airs. (This will still be a general Pokemon club, but I am open to discussing stuff outside of that if discussion gets low.)
Tentative Schedule (this is subject to change)
Sunday - Tuesday are YGO-related stuff (anime/manga and if you guys want to, some minor set stuff)
Wednesday - Saturday are Pokemon things (XY, B/W while episodes still exist out of Japan, TCG, maybe the video games and some online stuff if we get interest in that)
Why is it named Club Espeon? Because I like Espeon and I wanted to make a club with a Pokemon name.
What do we do here? As the name suggests, anything related to Pokemon (including the games, anime/manga, TCG and some other things; maybe competitive battling) and whatever topics members want to bring up.
We might discuss YGO stuff since at the time of this post, there isn't really an active club that caters to that topic (more so, just someplace to discuss anime/manga outside of the current forum instead of the DN stuff/meta stuff [you have TCG and some other places to deal with that]).
Depending on member interest, we may have some mini-contests (card making, GFX, RP, whatever); again, that is to be determined as we go along.
Who can join us? If you're not on this club's banned list, then you can join us (Although you can be rejected if we see that you're a spammer or get in constant trouble with other members).
Membership in the previous version of this club (linked in history) is NOT REQUIRED to come here.
Any club events? Yeah, there will be a few, though that depends on whether or not there are enough people that are interested.
(P.S. Some of this stuff came from V1, but revamped)
2/19/2011 - Club Espeon is first created...
10/2/2013 - Club Espeon V2 is born.
I don't like to make a lot of rules, but there'll be a few listed below (they should be pretty simple to follow).
1. No flaming/trolling other people.
In the past, this club had a reputation of being well-behaved (and being stickied at some points in time) so let's keep it like that.
2. Stay on topic
Occasionally, we might stray from the topic at hand but please keep this to a minimum. I'll usually keep the current topic in here, but might forget to update it at times so please check the posts to see what we're discussing.
3. Be active.
I know most of us are busy with academics, life or whatever, so I'm not going to strictly enforce this, but please try to be here when you can. I don't want a repeat of what happened to V1. (If new games come out or you have life to deal with, I'll allow some leeway but overall as I mentioned, post in here when you can).
I don't like forcing people to post in here to keep activity high, though if things start getting bad, I may have to start doing it.
4. No spamming.
Like with rule 2, stick to the topic(s) at hand. It's okay if you mention something off-topic but make sure you include something relevant. Do not turn this thread into 5 straight pages of non-related posts, alright?
5. Respect other members.
The lack of this by other members in certain sections is what causes some of us to either leave forever or take a long break to reconsider our opinion of this place. Remember the Golden Rule, "treat people like you want to be treated".
6. Have fun.
This is meant to be a place where you guys can relax, discuss stuff and have a place to voice your thoughts w/out worrying. It's not like the club staff or myself is moderating everything you say/do (though there are limits to what is allowed in here; should be common sense)
7. No posting porn or illegal content
Don't post ROMs/game hacks/classified documents/sexual images/etc. You do remember that we have members younger than 18 on this site (and because the site rules already forbid them).
8. Neatness counts
Essentially, make sure your posts/app form are readable. (Also, when posting, please try to write at least 1-2 sentences)
9. YCM Rules apply
Anything that's listed there also applies here (though most of this club's rules already mention them in short form). In regards to rule 1 over there, that applies to clan leaders/moderators: If we see you breaking one of the other rules and ask you to stop; then please abide by it.
You're allowed to advertise your contests/card sets/RP/fan fics; but just don't link it to your personal sites, etc.
10. No posting unless you're a member or writing application
Unless you're an accepted member, plan on joining Club Espeon or one of the mods posting about club behavior, etc., please refrain from posting.
Any spam bots will be reported on the spot.
If more needed to be added, they will be; however notice will be given.
Sakura Espeon (Leader) - Can accept/deny members, runs club events, warn/ban members, invite people, overall keeps the place running
Arcanite Espeon (Moderator) - Can accept members, warn members, invite people
Espeon (Member) - Can post, invite people
Eevee (Rest of you) - Can read/apply for membership if you choose to join.
There isn't any rank system based on your post count here (unlike V1). If club gets really active, it would prove hard to periodically update this post with your new post ranks. Moderators/co-leaders will be chosen based on your behavior/activity in here
Delete stuff in parentheses
Username: Nickname: (If you rather be called something other than your current username, what would you like to be addressed as?) Do you understand our club rules?
Zextra (well, you are a YCM mod already so guess that elevates you to Arcanite already)
Princess Talaya (Miror B.)
~ British Soul ~
Sasha Braus (Sasha)
Raem (Smeargle); can't type the unique characters in name
Much like how this site's system works, each member has 10 warning points.
If you break a rule, then your warn level goes up a certain number of points, based on how severe it was. Keep in mind that each of the staff members in here, including myself, have a different scale on how we'll warn you (and when that warn will get removed). If you do reach 10 warn points, then you'll be temporary banned from club for a week; however you can return after that but keep in mind that it'll be a strike on your record.
You get 3 strikes; then that's perma-ban from club (much like in life).
(none, let's keep it that way)
Current Member Bans
(none, let's hope it stays like that)
When more members join, then more things will be added here (i.e. Affiliates/Current Club Events/etc). I'll add up the older banners from V1 later on as well.
Have fun, everyone!
