1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
This card cannot be destroyed in battle with Dragon-Type monsters. While you control 2 or more other monsters, Dragon-Type monsters have their effects negated. When this card attacks a Dragon-Type monster: It gains half of the target's ATK until the end of the Damage Step. If this card destroys a monster by battle: You can select 1 monster in your opponent's Graveyard or Banished Zone; return it to the Deck.

As you can pretty much figure out by now, this card's immunity to Dragon-Type monsters attacking it is a slight reference to Pokemon XY. This card is theoretically designed to counteract Dragon Rulers (and some other decks that focus on using stuff like REDMD, etc.)

Anyway, CnC/rate/fix OCG/whatever.

Reps will be given to all replies that provide good reviews and/or fixes.

P.S. I am still a dragon user, even though I made something that kills them

Honestly, I think this should be a generic synchro monster, due to the specificness of the counter effect. All the effects are balanced, but too many of good things makes this kinda too crowded. Cards shouldn't be able to do anything, and 5 effects(including protection, atk gaining, grave disruption, effect negation) is too much. Nice XY reference, though.

Yeah, I think I made this card too much like the Fairy-Type Pokemon in XY.

I could remove the last effect that protects it from card effects; though I put that there to protect it against Mirror Force or whatever cards Dragon decks like to run that destroy stuff.

Anyway, removed that protection effect that blocks Mirror Force and made it a generic Level 8 monster

Yeah, trying to make names that'll fit into something the TCG would make is difficult, but that would be a better name (hates Konami for changing the OCG names). In future, probably just going to use a raw OCG name.

As for the question, that's what I was planning on doing (putting blocks on Dragon Rulers, which people hate for ruining games to some extent); though if confirming that makes this card's effect more broken than it is w/out knowing that, I could edit that to just include banished/hand or something that tones it down (in the end, it pretty much says "screw you DRs/Darkness Metal").

Like I mentioned earlier, this card was theoretically based off of the new typing in Gen 6 of Pokemon; that's why the first effect exists (to reference its immunity), but yeah Dragons will find ways of killing this card off. (This is what I get for trying to apply Pokemon logic into a Yugioh card...card is geared to counter certain types but pretty much is a generic Level 8 drop against others)

Anyway, thanks for commenting.

Off-topic note: I don't approve of what Gamefreak did with the typings though...as a Dragon user myself, I'd probably want a way to kill this card off for harming my dragons also (and I'm the one who made this in first place).

Dat art! So cute! XD
I like this card in every way. It counteracts the meta, shuts down those noobs who run dragons (as a deck), and makes Stardust Dragon look weak. The only problem is DNA Surgery. But that's more of a combo. Keep making Synchros, they are needed more now than ever (you know, except once, the whole "save the world" thing)!  I don't see any flaws in the OCG either. 10/10, as far as I am concerned.

That's what this card was designed for: stop people from using Stardust/Darkness Metal or whatever people are using (mostly Rulers since I've seen a fair amount of cards on them, which is understandable), since we can't have good stuff w/out giving them more fuel to do whatever they please.

But yeah, they can just DNA Surgery, change their Dragons to some other Type and this card essentially is screwed aside from its last effect (though I don't see Surgery used that often).

Thank you for commenting though (I provided link to the pic if you want to use it for your own stuff; I don't own it so pretty much it's out there)

Not going to bother fixing ocg beyond saying that the last effect should be [capitalization aside] something like "If this card destroys a monster by battle: you can target 1 card in your opponent's graveyard or banished zone; shuffle that target into the deck" ["if" so it can't miss timing]. With that out of the way, on to the main part of the review:

Besides shutting down Dragon Rulers as others have mentioned, I think that the shuffle into deck effect could be useful against other decks as well. One theoretical example would be bujins, assuming that you can attack before they use a grave effect. I say theoretical because I've never faced a bujin deck so I'm basing this on the cards I know from booster packs and rumors that they use grave effects alot. I'm sure that that effect is good in a variety of other situations, such as against plague spreader zombie.

Also, if you want to do the pokemon type chat thing that's fine, but maybe change the cannot be attacked by dragon-type monsters to cannot be destroyed by battle with dragon-type monsters, because after all, the player isn't a fairy-type pokemon so they should still take damage and, if dragon-type attacks don't work on it, why should it matter who declared the attack?

Hope this helps!

edit: I'd say call it "Dragon Killer Fairy" or if you want to make it sound like it got past the TCG censor, "Dragon Slayer Fairy" or even "Dragon Destroyer Fairy".

Yeah, making the effect an "If" one will make it work better so it'll activate and not miss timing (again, still getting used to the new PSCT text even now).

Though I should note that I don't play DN nowadays so not too familiar with Bujins or whatever uses the grave aside from Zombies (and to an extent, Ice Barriers when they revive things), with other random things; but this card could work against other Decks with its last effect.

As for the Dragon part, yeah that makes more sense (and fits much better with the type mechanics). If this card is the only thing on field, unless you have Spirit Barrier or something of the sort in play, the old effect essentially allows the dragon user to attack directly.

That said, effects updated (Since this is a generic Level 8 Synchro now, I removed the Fairy-Type requirement on the previous fix).
