宇佐見 蓮子@C94
Now, this is a story all about how My life got flipped-turned upside down And I'd like to take a minute Just sit right there I'll tell you how I became the queen of a town called RC In Yugico Cardmaker born and raised Xyz cards was where I spent most of my days Ratin' cards maxin' relaxin' all cool And all postin' some wacky cards When a couple of noobs who were up to no good Started making shit in my neighborhood I got in one little fight and my ego got worried She said 'You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in YCM'
When this card is Normal Summoned: Declare 1 Monster type; Reveal the top 2 cards of your deck. If one of the cards revealed is a monster with the same Type as the declared Type, Special Summon it and draw 1 card. If not: banish this card. Shuffle the rest of the cards picked up into the deck.
if you want me to continue the rap just say so. maybe i'll finish it.
-Noel-
nice card, it's remind me an multi-type upgraded version of Witch of the Black Rose, good effect, good stat and of course, good pic
Maeriberii Haan
My gripe is that it won't trigger if you reveal 2. That might need a fix.
宇佐見 蓮子@C94
I actually did that on purpose, so the card is more risky and less broken. It's not like I did it because I can't word it properly...
Kitsuneko
You shouldn't interchange one and 1 in the card text; consistency is good. Similar principle to writing papers. You really should change it to: "If at least 1 of the cards revealed..." I think it's far too weak and gimmicky otherwise. Even as is, it's a pretty luck based card already. 宇佐見 蓮子@C94
K, fixed. Dunno why I bothered though.
Maeriberii Haan
After reading this card more, this card seems to be quite brutal in the right decks. Resolving this makes you sit on a +2 on summon, while with the correct build, you'll almost never call it wrong (especially in Shinras). I'd say the reward should be lessened, but the risk can also be softened.
宇佐見 蓮子@C94
How, though? The risk is a -1, while the reward is +2. Which is why I wanted to keep it so that it needs only one monster to trigger it, so it's less abusable and thus, less broken.
Maeriberii Haan
If you make it a +1 that can be turned into a +2 in some occasions with the negative being a -1 that can be made into a +0, or a straight +1/+0 with some form of other drawback, it'll be better rather than praying that you won't hit two of the cards. Removing the double reveal 'restriction' will turn this into a less sacky card and more something like a card that requires a specifically-tuned deck to use it reliably, though, the less extreme effect above can be used to balance the card. InfernaLiza
Maybe, as a bigger risk, you could banish any (revealed cards) that aren't the selected type, and leave the card on the field. That way, you have the chance for a big monster/summoning an xyz, with the risk of leaving a weak monster on the field and banishing your good cards.
