Aepoein Archetype | From the mind of Edgar Allen Poe... Sorta

Sort of kind of not really at all inspired by the works of Poe. Basically the point is to summon and keep safe your Librarian and stock the field with 2000 ATK beaters, then xyz into the Demoness. There is 1 support card that assists in protecting the Librarian and allowing the apparently weak monsters to pack a punch, as well.

4 Level 10 Zombie-Type monsters

You can also Xyz Summon this card using 1 Rank 5 monster you control whose Xyz Materials are all "Aepoein" monsters as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to it also become Xyz Materials on this Summoned monster.) Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material and destroy 1 card on each side of the field; Special Summon as many "Aepoin" monsters as possible from your Deck in face-up attack position. During the End Phase you used this effect, destroy all other monsters you control.

Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 "Aepoein" monster from your Deck in face-up defense position. If a monster Special Summoned by this card's effect is destroyed by battle; Special Summon it, and it gains 2 Levels (permanently).

 

If this card is Special Summoned from the Deck, its ATK becomes 2000 (permanently). When this card is Normal Summoned, you can discard 1 card; add 1 "Aepoein" monster from your Deck to your Hand.

 

If this card is Special Summoned from the Deck, its ATK becomes 2000 (permanently). Once per turn, if this face-up defense position monster is the only monster you control, you can Special Summon 1 "Aepoein" monster from your Graveyard; banish 1 random card from your opponent's hand.

 

If this card is Special Summoned from the Deck, its ATK becomes 2000 (permanently). If you control a face-up "Aepoein Librarian" monster, the Levels of all "Aepoein" monsters you control become the Level of this card.

 

If this card is Special Summoned from the Deck, you can target 1 "Aepoein" monster you control; while this card remains face-up on the field, increase that target's Level by 2. If your opponent controls more monsters than you do, destroy this card.

Neither Player can target "Aepoein Librarian" monsters for attacks. Monsters with exactly 2000 ATK can attack directly, but they are destroyed at the end of the Battle Phase. (This is treated as being destroyed by battle.)

nice artworks and concepts, you should correct some ocg inaccuracies but nothing so heavy. the evermore might lead to an otk so i suggest you to review it

Is it bad I wanted it to have the opportunity to OTK? :3

 

To really do it well you would need to get Demoness on the field, which means protecting your Librarian from card effects (Assuming you have Evermore which would protect it from battle), since Librarian is going to SS them in defense position, making them vulnerable to attacks. Even though they come back, your opponent can prevent you from making your Rank 5 by attacking the same monsters and thus making their Levels too high.

 

It is a difficult combo to do, but I have no doubt it can be done.
