The goal of this Deck is to fill up the Graveyard with three Planar Elementals of the same name, or one of each in the case of the Element Avatars, in order to Fusion Summon its boss monsters Miracle Fusion-style but without expending a card to do the actual Fusion Summon. Meanwhile, the Swap Frog SS effect of the primary Planars, alongside with the high DEF of most of the Nebulas, and cards such as Tour Guide and Crane Crane allow you to pump out Rank 3 Xyzs so that you can play the game while you're setting up your Greater Planar Fusions.

What is new with this topic?

This archetype now has a Field Spell, which serves as a banish version of Daigusto Emeral's first effect as well as a 500 point boost for your Planars and Nebulas (and you can also ditch it to save one of your Planars). There's also a non-generic Xyz Monster who works like a mix of Angineer and #17, being a 2200 monster who gets archetype-name bonuses as well as the ability to detach Xyz Materials to get counters that can save any of your Planar Elementals from leaving the field, including itself. There are also updates on Elemental Untapping, which now can be banished from the Grave to boost a Planar Elemental by 800 for a turn so Untapping won't be completely outclassed. Aspect has its Type changed to Thunder, and its Attribute changed to LIGHT so that it won't be a 2-mat Rank 3 DDV target. Amplifying Nebula is now called Amplified Nebula, and its Attribute is changed to WATER in order to give it a 500 ATK boost for each Planar Elemental Token you own. Speaking of ATK boosts, Element Avatar of Aptitude gains 200 ATK for each Token in your control, which lets you Fusion Summon a 3300 ATK monster who Tributes its source of extra ATK for effects similar to the primary Elementals in exchange for Omnipotence's immunity to destruction while you own Tokens.

Oh, and there's a quick combos section right under here, as well as a bonus card that helps the archetype (yet is kinda independent), and a few new cards in the real cards to consider section.

Cards needed: Water Planar Elemental, card capable of sending a specific card from the Deck to the Graveyard (Galactic Menace, Foolish Burial, Elemental Untapping, or Plane Gate all work here. In the case of Plane Gate, activate it during your opponent's turn).

Activate the card to dump a Water from the Deck to the Graveyard, and then Normal Summon Water Planar Elemental. Then, activate Water's effect and Tribute itself to send your final Water Planar Elemental to the Graveyard. Now, you have the setup necessary to Fusion Summon Subzero, Greater Planar Elemental.

Alternatively, you can just Summon Water and use its effect while there is already a Water in the Graveyard.

This needs a Nova Nebula in the hand or on the field, and an Aspect of Pure Element in your Extra Deck. You also need another Level 3 monster to Xyz Summon with (using Nova's FLIP effect is slow but an almost-guaranteed method of pulling this off). Xyz Summon Aspect, then detach Nova Nebula for its effect, and add another Nova Nebula to your hand with that effect. Then, banish the detached Nova Nebula to Special Summon your other Nova in face-down Defense Position. While facedown, it cannot be destroyed thanks to Aspect's built-in protection, which makes it much more likely to get this Nova flipped up and grab yourself another Planar Elemental.

Should your Aspect survive a turn, you can use its effect again to fetch a third Nova, or even something like Asteroid Dust Nebula or Gravity Storm Nebula, freely Summoning them in face-down Defense Position to help your setup or to make more Xyz monsters.

Aside from the staples like MST, TT, and stuff like that, of course.

Book of Moon: This card is ran in many Decks even today due to the usefulness of a Quick-play flip-facedown effect. In addition to forcing your opponent's monsters into their usually-weaker DEF position and preventing their effects from activating (few monsters can do anything other than defend when facedown), you can play this on a Nebula to get it into its stronger-than-its-ATK DEF position and for it to re-use its effect.

Burial from the Different Dimension: Returning your primary Elementals (and to a lesser extent, your Nebulas) back to the Grave for re-use makes this a particularly evil card to play. Fusion Summon one of the Greater Planar Elementals, then play this. See that combo? It wins games. However, pulling this off requires you to dedicate extra slots in your tight Extra Deck, which in the long run will prevent you from running all of the Xyz monsters you want.

Crane Crane: By Normal Summoning this mischievous critter, you get Earth Planar's effect for free and without any restrictions, which means you have much more potential for Normal Summoning Xyz Monsters, including Totem Bird (with Wind). SS a Planar Elemental through its own effect, then NS this and SS the discarded Planar Elemental for Planar Sovereign Asteroidica, who gives you a free Planar Elemental and Tribute fodder.

Dandylion: Being Level 3 allows this to Xyz Summon with your Planar Elementals or Crane Crane. Each time it hits the Grave, you get two free WIND Tokens, which you can use for the Tribute effect of the primary Planars. You can Tribute one for Wind's effect, add another Wind, and if you can Special Summon that Wind, you pretty much have your setup for Galactic Tempest right there. Of course, you could always use the Tokens to pop things with Fire's effect or to revive Fires, Waters, or Earths with Earth's effect and go into another Xyz.

Dragon Rulers: The primary Planar Elementals are situational to use with these as they aren't Dragon-Type, but they do exist in all four Attributes and drop Tokens onto the field as Tribute Fodder or defense. Particularly useful with another created card I posted somewhere else (it's a Level 7 Destiny Draw with a Trag-like Level-changing effect). Probably still not the best way to run Dragon Rulers, but whatever. Now that the Dragon Rulers are Limited, this might not exactly be a viable Deck at all. Scratch that, it's still a fast-paced Deck that can surprise your opponent with #11s and Dracossacks, but I feel that the Deck's reliance on Dragon Shrine, Gold Sarc, or Foolish Burial to get you a Dragon Ruler without drawing into it prevents the Deck from being too good.

Elemental Burst: The Tokens you get from Summoning an Element Avatar fulfills the excessively costly requirement you need to play this, and you don't lose all that much for the sake of a field wipe. I'm just pointing out that you can do this, it isn't necessarily worth running just because. Still, this card gets love, and that's all that matters to you freaks.

Emergency Teleport: It gives you a free Nebula from your Deck, even if it means that you won't get to use its FLIP effect (without a book). Particularly handy for making Xyz plays and to dump the Nebulas in the Grave for their secondary effect (provided you don't let them live until the End Phase).

Fuh-Rin-Ka-Zan: As the Element Avatars are treated as all four of the Attributes needed to make this go off, this can be a silly option to tech for when you do have an Element Avatar Out. Being able to use Forbidden cards is a blast (especially if you're nuking your opponent's frontrow with the Raigeki effect, which is even more useful since this is a Trap). The big issue with this is that it's pretty dead when you don't have an Element Avatar out though.

Gold Sarcophagus: You freely Summon a Token, mainly for Tribute fodder, and then you get the Planar Elemental within two turns. Not as useful as banishing Dragon Rulers (Rulers can't search themselves anymore), but it's still a nice free Token and helps you set up an Attribute to focus on for the Duel.

Leviair the Sea Dragon: This is a Level 3-based archetype that likes to get their Elementals banished. This is a Rank 3 generic monster that can get you your Elementals back onto the field for more use and boss-Summoning. It also has the potential to pop two of your opponent's cards if you have two Fires to bring out.

Scapegoat: This card could serve as bait, and by activating it, you essentially absorb four attacks. But you don't have to do this, as you can Tribute some of these Tokens to activate effects, such as Fire destroying something or Wind adding an Earth or Water milling an Earth or Earth Special Summoning a non-Earth. In general, this card helps to save your hide and makes Fusion Summoning Crashing Comet (who seems to be the hardest of the four Greater Elementals to Fusion Summon) a lot easier.

Triangulon Borqueshaype
Rank 3 Machine-Type LIGHT 1500/1500
2 Level 3 monsters
You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard; your opponent sends 1 random card from their hand to the Graveyard. The effect of "Triangulon Borqueshaype" can only be activated once per turn.

Card Doubler

Level 7 Fiend-Type DARK 2600/2200

When this card is Tribute Summoned: You can discard 1 card; draw 2 cards.  Once per turn: You can target 1 monster in your Graveyard; this card's Level becomes the same as that target's, then, if that monster is a Tuner, this monster becomes a Tuner.

I've changed a few things. First, I gave Nova and Asteroid Dust 200 more DEF. Then, I prevented the monster SSed by Gravity Storm from being attacked the turn it was SSed unless Gravity Storm leaves the field. Afterwards, I split Wormhole Aegis's effect up, so it won't be a super-Lance. The second effect is now its own card, and to prevent it from being an outclassed clone of Ego-Boost or whatever, it can banish itself from the Grave to put a dead Greater Planar Elemental back into your Deck. Aegis's new second effect is now a weird little not-worth-it attack negation.

Oh, and I reworded Restitution and Quadportal more like Avarice in case the original wording made monsters that hit the Extra Deck not count for the draw.

More updates, this time, all negative.

the primary Fire is now uncontrollable for its effect now that it has your opponent which card on their field gets destroyed (don't worry, your opponent can't blast your cards with it). They could also destroy a card in your hand (AKA Fire is a wannabe virus now) instead. But yeah, your opponent controls this effect. Other effects based on Fire, like Attribute Flare Comet and Element Avatar of Aptitude, are unchanged. Omnipotence, instead of flat-out avoiding destruction now, Tributes 2 Tokens to save itself if it would be destroyed by battle or by card effects. Cosmo now doesn't protect against all forms of removal, and has lost its ability to bounce your banished Planars back into the Grave (maybe an overreaction on my part).

Also, updated the "Real cards to consider" part because the Deck + Dragon Rulers still works well, even if I feel it'll be inconsistent and the Tokens will be in your way often. I also entered a second card in the Bonus Card section, mainly for use in said Planar Ruler Deck or even for Monarchs.

Aegis is still too strong, due to reasons I've said in your status update. There might be a way to loop Triangulon, but idk. Make so you can only use its effect OPT.

Aegis wasn't brought up though, so I guess you meant how Cosmo previously prevented all kinds of removal, and now it's either an attack negater or anti-destruction card.

And Triangulon eats your hand advantage too, so loops would be really costly. But nevertheless, it now is a "eff can only be 1/turn" clause instead of the previous OPT since it doesn't really hurt the card.

The 3-of-a-kind Fusions have been redone to more properly reward you for constantly losing advantage to bring them out. Solar Blaze can send up to 2 cards to the Graveyard, and inflicts 500 for each. Subzero gained 100 ATK, and now your opponent can't chain the targeted card to Subzero's effect, making it like Night Beam. Galactic Tempest (who may have gotten too much) now returns up to three cards, and doesn't suffer from the "not enough cards to use effect" problem, but can only target cards in the same row (all monsters or all Spell/Traps). Furthermore, by destroying a monster by battle, you can ditch a random card from your opponent's hand. Crashing Comet's Fusion Summon cannot be negated nor chained to, and also gained 100 ATK. All four of the Elementals allow you to grab a banished archetype monster with its Attribute upon being destroyed and put it in your hand (which could include itself if it's BTH'd).

Fire's nerf was, in fact, overdone. It is mostly restored to its previous state, but can't hit facedown cards. I also gave Cosmo back its last effect that returned up to 2 of your banished archetype monsters to the Grave.

The design and flow of these cards is very smooth and well defined, however I feel as though the effects lead to a very self-oriented style of play as the opponent is rarely mentioned other than cases where they would be attacking. Also I do believe if Token monster are to be summoned their text should read like: Special Summon 1 "Meteor Planar Elemental Token" (Rock-Type/EARTH/Level 2/ATK 600/DEF 500). [Note the quotations around the name] Other posts do an apt job of describing any other misgivings I have at a glance.

They aren't really that uninteractive. Playing with the Deck, I've found myself utilizing a quick Rank 3 Xyz Summon to hinder the opponent's progress, like #s 17 or 30. You could just sit on Angineer/Zenmaines and go total defense, but doing that allows your opponent to continuously build up their power to knock you down. If you do get your Fusions out when they have done that, then you're forced to take out their immediate threats rather than dealing with some of their other cards that would halt your offensive.

Still, I've been thinking about making a few higher-Level monsters who would be more interactive and make more use of the Planar Elementals' Token-Summoning effect, but I can't think of what their effects would be or how exactly they would use those Tokens.

Huh, I must've mixed them up with named counters. Fixed.
