Although it's still a long way to the deadline, I just couldn't wait in creating this card.
Cannot be Special Summoned. During the End Phase of the turn this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: Return it to the hand. When this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; negate that target's effects (including in the Graveyard). When this card is returned from the field to the hand: Send that target to the Graveyard.
Onryo are more or less vengeful ghosts in Japanese lore, the most famous example being Yamamura Sadako from The Ring. They are believed to wreak havoc on the living, either to exact vengeance on those who tormented them in life, or to randomly terrorize any unfortunate soul who happens to be nearby.

One doesn't simply create a card based on a Japanese folklore ghost and not make it a Spirit! I've attempted to replicate the general Onryo behaviour in card game terms, having her permanently negate an opponent's monster's effects whenever she appears on the field. And if the opponent can't do anything about her and lets her slip away into the hand, the monster she's smothering gets dragged into the underworld and put into the Graveyard.

But this nigh-unstoppable form of removal is about where it stops for the Onryo. Having no ATK at all, haunting monsters is about the only thing she can do on her own. If the opponent does react quickly and destroys/banishes her, nothing dies with her - though, perhaps, the almost-permanent effect negation will still pose a problem for them.

EDIT: Added "face-up" to the target requirement.

Yo. Here you go. I decided to use the ghost as more of a benevolent spirit, hence the Fairy-type. It uses the benevolence to negate a monsters effect, then when it is destroyed, it helps you by giving you life points equal to the targeted monsters attack.
When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: Target 1 face up monster on the field; negate that monsters effect while you control this card. When this card is destroyed, gain Life Points equal to the targeted monsters ATK.
this card's name becomes "Skull Servant" while it is in the Graveyard. When this card is Normal Summoned: You can send 1 "Skull Servant" from your Deck to the Graveyard to target 1 card on the field; send that target to the Graveyard. When this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target up to 2 of your banished "Skull Servant" or "Wight" monsters; return those targets to the Graveyard. You can only use 1 "Wightknight" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Alrighty, got my entry finished! :D Just a basic little adition to the Six Samurai archtype (my faverite, naturally) I made.
RjkGQiA.jpg

If you control two or more "Six Samurai" monsters on your side of the field, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card destroys an opponents monster add on Bushido Counter to this card (max. 4). When this card is destroyed inflict 400 damage to your opponent for every Bushido Counter on this card.
Thanks for hosting! And GOOD LUCK to EVERYONE entered, may the best card maker win!
