·Toot
Once per turn: You can Tribute 1 Dragon-Type monster; Special Summon from your Deck, 1 Genryu-Type monster with the same Level as the original Level of the Tributed monster. A monster destroyed by battle with a monster Special Summoned by this effect is shuffled into the Deck instead of being sent to the Graveyard. My only confusion with this is the tributed monster. Can the monster be from either side of the field? Or are we experiencing more mis-translations?
Maeriberii Haan
I think it's a mistranslation/incomplete or non-finalized card text. Though don't trust me on this.
UltimateIRS
Unless otherwise specified, you can only Tribute from your own field. So, no, you don't get to sacrifice your opponent's Dragon Ruler for MAD.
