Rayquaza and Sceptile megas basicaly confirmed.

There was a list leaked before XY came out of names Pokemon USA went out of their way to specifically copyright, and Groudon/Kyogre/Rayquza/Sceptile ae the only ones left that we didn't have confirmed in some way, iirc.

What this means for Swampert idk

The best part for me is, I skipped Gen III, except to play a run of Emerald for Pokedex completion during Gen V. Gen III seems like it'd be so much fun with the updated mechanics (I was used to Gen IV+ by the time I did the run, so it was frustrating at times).

You better believe I'm freaking stoked. Sapphire was the first game where I really knew what I was doing and was able to beat it, and now, 11 years later, things have come full circle...

The cover art looks sick too.

All I want are Mega forms for the Weather trio, Sceptile, and Swampert.

now that we know about these, can we confirm sceptile for smash

Also, between the info given with this reveal and the video itself, I think these are actually sequels, not remakes.

Now that would be interesting.

We should be able to fight Brendan/May at the end...even though they won't do that.

Nintendo... TAKE MY WALLET!

OT: I'm glad about this tbh, I missed travelling around the Hoenn region.

I'm guessing there'll be a Moss Rock in Petalburg Forest and an Ice Rock in Shoal Cave. As well as places to evolve Nosepass and Magneton, and also new places altogether.

Other than that, I bet there'll be an event that allows you to travel to Southern Island, battle Latias/Latios and get their mega stones after the battle.

Also, I know it's likely they'll keep the current E4 system of battling them in any order, but I secretly hope they use the old system.

Some megas from the Hoenn Dex I think would be cool to see (barring the starters and legendaries):

Ludicolo

Shiftry

Slaking

Exploud

Hariyama

Sableye

Sharpedo

Flygon

Lunatone and Solrock

Glalie

Salamence

Metagross

I'm not sure if that's too lengthy or not, or if Megas would cause some of these guys to be banned, but yeah.

All I ask for is Mega Flygon.

^this Also Mega Gallade would be great.

I think this confirms that we'll be seeing Mega Latios and Latias in this game. Also, I swear to god, Nintendo, if you don't include Secret Base Streetpass, I will end you.

I was really hoping they'd show off some gameplay or screenshots, but I suppose they're gonna reveal it all at E3.

I'm looking forward to this. Sapphire is the first and currently only Pokemon game where I have beat the E4, and because of that Gen III is my favorite generation.

I hope the game brings new evos, mega forms, or at least base stat boosts, for Pokemon who really need a buff. Mega Wailord with its DEF and/or Sp.DEF patched, anyone?

Also, I would like to see the Gen III contests again. Since Sapphire was my only Pokemon game, out of boredom I got into contests to get those paintings, and I ended up enjoying them. Nowadays, I occasionally turn the game on just to sweep the Tough Contest with Aggron and get a Luxury Ball.
