Earth-7: Young Justice Initiative [S/Accepting/OOC]

Recommended Posts

Well, I managed to get some time free tonight, so I decided I might as well get this together.
gx8YIly.jpg

Everyone is a puppet. I'm just the only one who shows it.

Personal Information:

Name: Mary Stratford

Aliases: Marionette

Age: 17

Gender: Female
KDiDaAV.jpg

At first glance, Mary hardly seems to be alive. Her skin is pale and cold to the touch, her body appears thin and frail, and her face remains expressionless. Even when her eye opens, it is a dull, almost chilling blue that veers toward the spectrum of grey. To describe her in a word would be doll-like. She spends much of her time in an open-shoulder dress with long sleeves, despite whatever the weather may be. When she walks, it hardly resembles the way people typically move. Though she does not trip or fall (her movements are quite graceful, in fact) it almost appears as if she is being suspended just off of the ground by a puppeteer's strings. Adding to her appearance of a doll, her stature is quite diminutive, standing at 5 feet, 2 inches (157 cm), and weighing only 103 pounds (47 kg). On her nearly perfect, untouched appearance one flaw is glaringly obvious: a bulky gray patch covers her right eye, breaking the symmetry of her porcelain figure and creating an unsettling vibe.

"Feeling" is not one of Mary's strong suits. she keeps to herself, rarely speaking and even more rarely so partaking in a true conversation. Of course, this was not always true of her. She once was a cheerful little girl, playing, laughing, doing general little kid stuff, but after she was traumatized at the age of 14, she has never quite behaved the same way. Unlike most of those who keep to themselves, she does not find solace in her own company. To be with others is painful and to be alone is torturous. Though the motivation is not very strong, she uses these shreds of emotion to motivate herself to help others: to be a hero. She does this, hoping that if all of the evil is taken from the world, there will be no reason for her - or anyone else - to be afraid. Of course, this is not solid motivation, and she does not particularly care for the title of "hero," thinking that it puts a standard on her that she truly cannot live up to. Even though it was years earlier, her failure to save her father's life is a large burden upon her heart, and she considers the death to be purely her own fault, as she had the power to stop the murder, but simply had not obtained the control. This further contributes to her borderline obsession with self-control, not allowing herself to slip up in any way, even using her power to move her own body at times so as to achieve the precision she desires.

Mary grew up with a very privileged life. Her family was rich, due to her father's extensive research of the meta-gene that he found lying dormant within his own daughter. He made history with his research, discovering how, although the power itself is granted by the presence of the meta-gene, the nature of the powers themselves is determined by the recessive, typical human genes, which could theoretically allow the selective inclusion of genes in the future to give an individual powers. Since he only needed a single DNA sample from Mary, the research was not painful or harmful to her in any way, and as a matter of fact allowed them all to live comfortably. Unfortunately, that all came to an end when more powerful individuals caught wind of his research. The distribution of the meta-gene could prove problematic to their plans, so they sent an assassin to kill him. If it was a regular assassin, there may have been a chance of Mary's father escaping and surviving the incident. Unfortunately, the assassin was the renowned Deadshot, who had already been known to have never missed a shot. There was only a flash of light, and her father was gone. A hole punched clean through his forehead. It was at that moment that Mary's meta-gene activated, and she attempted to attack the assassin with her Meta-Threads, but when she latched onto a wall to pull herself toward him, the wall broke, as shrapnel flew back at her and damaged her right eye severely, to the point where it needed to be removed to prevent infection within the skull. After that day, Mary's remaining family, with her included, was placed under League protection, as various heroes, notably the Green Lantern, assisted her in learning to control her power. When the Young Justice Initiative was created, she was an early candidate to join, and was placed in it immediately. Her mother, though severely mentally scarred from the loss of her husband, supports Mary's hero status, secretly hoping that one day revenge can be enacted on Deadshot.
Combat Information:

Meta-Gene Activity: Active
Mary carries no sort of weapons or equipment with her, but through the use of her Meta-Threads she can weaponize most nearby objects.

Meta Threads: The resultant of her active Meta-Gene, Mary is capable of generating up to ten threads, one from the tip of each finger, of pure energy, not unlike what is done by the lantern corps. The tips of these threads can latch onto objects, from debris to people, and through subtle hand movement she can manipulate the object. The more threads that are attached to an object, the more precisely she can manipulate it, and the more force she can use to propel it. She can also attach the tips of the threads to her own body, allowing her to move not by muscle movement, but my manipulating her self with her hands. This allows her to exceed the typical limits put upon the body by its own muscle strength, but can result in injury through hypertension, hyperflexion, and dislocation if the movements she performs are done incorrectly.

Mary's fighting style is is largely projectile based, using her meta-threads to hurl objects at enemies, as well as using them to increase her own mobility and avoid being hit, moving in an unorthodox and unpredictable manner.
Other Information:

Yes. Her name is indeed a pun. So sue me.

Theme Music: It's a Wonderful World - Hamo (with the beautiful Hatsune Miku<3)
I like the character overall indeed! However, remember...this is Earth-7...so I am unaware if Deadshot (well, at least Floyd Lawton) would exist here. However, if its a different person taking over this spot, I'm sure it may work out ^^

So, are the powers and such better now?

Better, but why does she need so many weapons and why dark energy based? Why not just normal weapons? Also, you can't have your character become completely invisible AND completely silent. Limit it to invisibility only.

Also...she doesn't look like she comes from another planet...?

Anyone that has submitted an app, I will get to looking through them more thoroughly tomorrow most likely.

@Anbu: the basis of the power seems more or less fine, but I will need to talk it over with Sonic a bit more before saying anything else

You totally should! Miss Fortune in the last RP showed you definitely have what it takes to pull it off ^^

Awww thank you ^^

I'll probably play the role then. Gimme some time to finish my app and then I shall make my hero known.

"Go ahead, flee. I'll give you to the count of five..."

Personal Information:

Name: Caitlyn Wood

Aliases: Cait

Age: 18

Gender: Female
season_3__league_of_legends_caitlyn_the_

Caitlyn stands at a solid 5'8 and weighs roughly 105 pounds. She allows her long hair brown hair fall down the length of her back. She is quite stocky in muscle, and she has fantastic vision. Her chest size is average, but she prefers not to flaunt herself. She wears clothing hand sewn by her dad. The gear on it, and around it, is specifically designed to suit her needs in combat. When not in combat gear, she tends to wear purple long sleeved shirts and skirts that reach her knees. She is always seen in a hat of sorts. She wears either her favorite fedora, or the hat seen above. She is of English origin, and speaks with the British accent.

As anybody that has seen or heard her talk, she could be described in one way: Snobby. Caitlyn is stuck-up and proud. The way she speaks to others is seen are arrogant and rude. Despite the fact that she is not a 'super hero' persay, she makes sure others are FULLY informed of her ability and strengths. She is kind to those she protects however. She protects those who can't protect themselves. Contrary to how rude and demeaning she is, she has her soft spots. However, this side of her can only be seen while she is defending the innocent people from villains. More often than not, she is a snarky and sarcastic jerk with a tongue sharper than the dagger on her rifle.

In combat, she is focused and determined. She enters a focus that is almost unbreakable. The world around her melts away as she looks through her scopes. She only knows to breath, aim, fire, and bark commands. Despite the fact that she only wants what is best for the team, she is rather bossy. When she says something, she wants it done then and there. Time used explaining her methods is time wasted. She always relates fights to when she was a younger girl, when she or her father could not stand up to the criminals that attacked her father. She vowed never to let that happen to another citizen.

Caitlyn is actually intelligent. Even if she is rude, one would have to admire the brain power of the lady. Her mind reads and adapts to situations extremely fast, and she has had perfect school grades for as long as anyone could remember. In fact, her academics were so great, one would think she was a telepath. Her intelligence is a blessing and a curse, as it causes her to use that as a platform for her to stand above others on. She will mock anybody who makes a foolish mistake, after correcting them. Although she doesn't get along well with others outside combat, she knows she is a valuable member to any team, like it or not.

Caitlyn was a quiet child. It was a running joke in her family that she came into this world silent, observing her surroundings and judging everybody. That being said, she did not make any friends at a young age. She closed herself away from them, preferring to read than interact with her classmates. She taught herself math, to read, and to write at kindergarten, and by third grade, she had already been reading advanced books, such as Shakespear. Caitlyn had absolutely no friends, as she was not approachable by anybody. Yet her parents didn't mind. Caitlyn was about thirteen when she found out the world was a tougher place than what she thought it to be.

Her father was on his way home from work, when a few criminals ambushed and assaulted her and her father on their way home. He was a scientist, working on harnessing metals for his new invention, the hyper rifle. He intended to use metals that changed size depending on the force pushed against them, and a few less-than-reasonable people found out. They showed no mercy, beating him down. He refused to tell them where he had the riffle. So, they broke into their house and smashed everything, searching for it. All while this was going on, the small girl slipped from beneath them while their attention was elsewhere.

Caitlyn had grabbed the rifle and hid behind her neighbor's house in the tree house. She saw the men carry her father away. Furious and upset, she didn't even think of calling the authorities. Instead, she went on the hunt by herself. Taking up the same rifle that the criminals wanted, she followed them from a long way, making sure not to be caught. She was a natural at this dangerous game.

While they were beating and interrogating her father, she turned off the 'safety' option beside the rifle. Unlatching the caps on her scopes, she lined up a shot on the first of the three. Her aim was flawless. The first one dropped to the ground when she pulled the trigger. The other two instantly  ducked away from the window, and grabbed their arms. They lost temporary interest in the current hostage and paid to mind the assailant. Caitlyn positioned herself to the right on the rooftop, lining a second shot up on the second person in the room. She pulled the trigger the second time, putting a bullet through another person's skull. The third criminal finally located her on the roof, and ignited his hands. Caitlyn tried to pull the trigger a third time, expecting to end the last ones life. However, this weapon was still under some forms of testing, and only held two regular bullets. Caitlyn rolled to the left, clutching the rifle against her chest. The fireball just missed her, but it did set fire to half the roof she was on. As a last ditch effort, she flicked the switch to the left of her gun. Two hot hot metals mixed and cooled within the gun. On the outside, the gun extended, and a red light emitted from her scope, finding itself on his head. After a few moments, Caitlyn pulled the trigger, firing an extra large and unique bullet. It killed the man instantly, leaving a large hole where his head was.

Caitlyn had attracted quite the crowd with that stunt. A mix of awe and anger were directed to her. The police force took her in and lectured her on her job as a civilian, and how although she could testify to killing in self defense, she should have called them and what not. Caitlyn' father was furious. He punished and lectured her. However, Caitlyn did not mind. Every week or so, she would read up on latest criminal movements, investigate the cases, and take up her fathers rifle, hunting them. She never killed since then, but she did severely wound them. At first, her father placed more restriction on her, and tried hiding his now perfected rifle. However, Caitlyn was stubborn. He eventually gave up restricting her dangerous game, and instead began making gear to keep her safe. He upgrader the rifle over the years, and eventually just gave it to her.

Her actions and skill were noticed by the Justice League, and she was recruited for the team. Although Caitlyn doesn't work well with others, she accepted the invite, seeing this as an opportunity to not only harness her skills as a crime fighter, but make it big as a hero, defending those who can't defend themselves.
Combat Information:

Meta-Gene Activity: Inactive

Equipment/Inventory/Weaponry

Caitlyn wields her trusty sniper, Long-shot. It is large, but not as heavy as it looks. It has an impressive range, and a small recoil per shot. It stores 10 bullets, and can create 3 special bullets with the concoctions inside. The gun is fragile, so she treats it like a baby. The gun has switches that toggle its different abilities. However, the gun needs time to switch from normal fire, calibrated, thermal, and net.

She also wields four canisters of melted metals in the special jars in her pocket. It is for refilling her weapon when she runs out of Calibrated Fire.

Her hat has a mic on it, so she projects her voice through that. It is quite hard to taunt enemies from that far away. It also allows her to hear allies and enemies.

Powers/Abilities/Techniques

Caitlyn has an arsenal of different abilities she can manipulate on will. However, to use these she needs time to prep them, as seen above.

Normal Fire: Caitlyn fires standard bullets. They travel fast and hit pretty hard. However, they aren't fatal unless they hit the head or the heart.

Calibrated fire: Caitlyn takes 5 seconds to rev her gun, in the mean time it extends, a red light comes from the scope, and a bullet is created within. After it is ready to fire, the bullet becomes heat-seeking, assured to hit its target, unless they find thick cover, or someone/thing else intercepts the massive projectile. This ability has an incredibly high recoil.

Thermal Vision scopes: Caitlyn toggles the scope's thermal vision, allowing her to see when it is dark or foggy.

Net: If Caitlyn is threatened, she can switch the guns ammo to instead shoot a thick net. However, this ability is short ranged, compared to her long ranged bullets. She can only fire 2 nets before she is out of ammo, but they are a perfect defensive tool for her to use.

Fighting Style

Caitlyn fights from a max range, taking steady shots and trying to take out high priority targets. In other words, she is a sniper. She will fire standard bullets if the weather is clear, if she has trouble seeing the enemy, she will toggle thermal vision. She only uses her Calibrated Fire to pick off fleeing opponents, or cripple enemies before a fight. If an enemy gets too close, she will try to trap them in her net, and allow others to deal with it from there. She is more or less a coward.

"I can lose some weight if I need to. I just don't need to..."

Personal Information:
Name: Tracie Boulevard
Aliases: [acronym="she still hasn" t decided on a good superhero name for herself']Not Applicable as of yet[/acronym]
Age: 13
Gender: Female
Having always been a big girl, Tracie stands at a solid 5' 5" and weighs in at 157 lbs. Her BWH ratio is 39-32-40, meaning that she's just two inches off her stomach away from technically having the coveted hourglass figure. Although she's a little too plump for most to consider attractive, she does try to keep a presentable shape to her body, while still remaining comfortable with her looks. Although this is her normal form, Tracie can also be seen in a slimmer, sexier form that she can take, with less pronounced cheeks and thinner arms, thighs and everything. In that form, she'll only weigh 130 lbs, and she'll have a BWH ratio of 39-20-32. Word of warning though: Tracy will NOT stay in the slimmer and sexier form for much longer than she believes she has to, so prepare for some shock and awe when she returns to normal.

86eb47b6b8186ca532b7b8e6afa8511bd03d2bbb

At the moment, Tracie has mixed feelings about being a hero. On the one side, she finds it cool that she can get herself a little fame quite quickly, but at the same time, she's not entirely committed to putting a complete stranger's life in her hands, and she doesn't even know if she has what it takes. However, Tracie is devoted to protecting her 20-year-old sister Naomi, who just so happens to be 6 months pregnant and harboring quadruplets in her womb. Naomi means so much to Tracie that the former takes top priority whenever she's in danger, and sometimes Tracie can go to far with people that are trying to threaten her life. But while she tends to have her game face on when Naomi is under threat, Tracie is normally a carefree person, and can even be a bit of a prankster with her powers. She doesn't seem to care who sees her use her powers; all she really cares about is that she's having fun with them, even at other civilians' expenses. Despite once dreaming of being thin, Tracie can no longer stand the sight of seeing herself in the mirror in her slimmer form, as it tends to remind her of how difficult it was to fight off her gluttony and maintain it. As such, she often weighs herself to make sure she always weighs above 150lbs, only to go on an eating binge once she gets awfully close to said benchmark. In case it isn't obvious, Tracie hates losing weight or realizing she already lost it, and will only adopt her slimmer form if she absolutely has to.

Tracie Boulevard had gotten her powers by eating an ice-cream that had dropped into a barrel containing traces of nuclear waste. Of course, Tracie didn't realize what the barrel had previously contained or that it still had some left to begin with, and she thought that the dropped ice-cream would've been alright so long as she applied the so-called "five-second rule". But she was dead wrong, as by the time she got home, she immediately started to feel queasy. Tracie had tried knocking on the front door figuring it was locked, but her sister Naomi was in the shower at the time and couldn't hear her knocking. Tracie then tried the side door, but although Naomi answered this time, she replied that she was still in the shower, and had to finish up. Tracie frowned at this answer but had tried to wait anyway, but after a few minutes, her stomach was starting to build up a re-flux. Desperate to get inside, Tracie banged several more times, until on the last bang, her entire fist managed to find its way through the keyhole of the side door, much to Naomi's shock and horror. It was once she saw this herself that Tracie became violently sick.

Eventually though, Naomi managed to nurse Tracie back to health, although the both of them were in the bath together during that process because Naomi wasn't finished with her shower. During that time, they talked a little about Tracie's new-found powers, before the teenager in question began to ponder what else she could do. Thus, Tracie put on one of Naomi's two-piece swimsuits against the latter's better judgment of allowing her to and made for the beach, having made up her mind that she'd show the world what she was capable of. Although she had to be somewhat discreet about it... well, in case she realized she didn't have whatever power crossed her mind.

After finding out and showcasing all of her powers, and being a complete prankster about it, and loving every second of it, Tracie realized that she'd taken a slimmer form when she performed her Body Mass Transferal ability on someone that had made fun of her being fat. She enjoyed this slimmer form very much; if only for the two hours that she spent in said form, before finally caving into her natural gluttony and ending up spending $50 at a McDonald's just to gobble up all the food she bought for herself. By that time, however, Tracie had been labelled as a menace by the public for her reckless behavior at the beach, but she was about make up for it.

Inside a hotel that Naomi was working in, an earthquake had shook that hotel's foundations loose in an instant, and the entire hotel collapsed along with several other buildings. The death toll of the earthquake was minimal and Naomi wasn't included among it, but both her arms had been crushed and pinned down by heavy debris, and small pieces fell onto her face each time an aftershock occurred, with the crack of a roof above her opening more and more. Having seen the aftermath of the earthquake on the news, Tracie took to the skies, determined to save her sister for all those years that she was looked after by her. Incidentally, Tracie was the first to arrive, and by the time she did, the crack in the roof had opened up just enough for her to fit in and then escape with Naomi in tow. Though that was easier said than done, as even with her Meta-Gene active, she didn't quite have the strength to lift the debris off Naomi's arms. Thankfully, Tracie was able to improvise by growing some more arms to pull Naomi's out from under the debris, and flew back up the crack of the roof with Naomi in her arms, just before a large aftershock caused the entire roof to cave in. Tracie's heroic stunt not only repaired her status with the public, but also garnered the interests of the Young Justice Initiative, but Tracie wasn't too hyped about any of that right then; all she cared about was getting Naomi to the hospital as soon as she could... and so she ran...
Combat Information:
Meta-Gene Activity: Active
Tracie usually just brings herself to the scenes where a hero is needed. Maybe she'll have a candy bar or a packet of crisps or whatever else she may have been in the middle of eating by the time she got there, but that's about it. For reals.

Abnormal Strength: While not on superhuman levels, Tracie's strength has been bolstered by the activity of her Meta-Gene, and is on par with that of a muscular man as a result. It's not to say she can't be overpowered by a mortal man or woman, but those with the ability are few and far between.
Complete Metamorphosis: Easily the most versatile and useful of Tracie's abilities, this allows her to morph any part of her body to something completely different, like an extra arm or eye, a tendril specifically made to fit through a small gap such as a keyhole, or even wings in an [acronym="that is, PROBABLY late in the RP"]eventual case[/acronym]. Tracie can also relocate the organs that she already has, and regrow or repair any part of her body at will. She can only do one type of task with this ability at a time, and she can't grow one part of her body without shrinking another, but she can add, relocate, regrow or repair whatever she chooses, so long as she ends up tipping the scales at the same amount that she did before she metamorphosed. The metamorphosis is also a relatively slow process that may take up to several minutes just to achieve a significant growth, so Tracie may have to plan her metamorphosis in advance as she rushes into the scene, whether it be to save a civilian or stop a villain in his or her tracks.

Flubbles: Last but not least of Tracie's traits is the ability to create spheres of fat that she likes to call Flubbles. Tracie tosses these around a lot when pranking people, as they're just icky enough to embarrass anyone that gets hit by them, and too sticky for anyone too get off without cutting around them. They're even enough to hold fast moving cars into place, forcing the drivers of getaway vehicles to remove any stricken wheels entirely. And that's not all; since she's using her own body mass to make these Flubbles, Tracie gets lighter and lighter each time she throws one, albeit slowly but surely, and once she's thrown enough around regardless of whether or not they hit their mark, she'll be as fit as a fiddle and able to take on any villain with substantially improved agility.

As far as fighting is concerned, Tracie is a strictly melee character. Although she can use her Flubbles as ranged projectiles, they don't deal any damage, so Tracie has to rely on her fists to inflict pain. Still, Tracie can afford to toss Flubbles around somewhat recklessly, as even if they miss, she can use them to lighten herself up and get some more speed into her. Tracie can grow wings with her Complete Metamorphosis ability given enough confidence in herself and/or a lack of other options, and once grown, she use them to fly anywhere the enemy might be located. Of course, she has her weakness just like anyone; she's slow without having had the chance to lose some weight, which is also bad because of the larger surface area her body has to be targeted with.
Eden has become the kinda person that needs to be friends with everyone. No matter how vial the person is he doesn't want to end up killing and consuming them should his Predatory Instinct get the better of him. So that being said it shouldn't be a surprise that he's the load guy that always has a bright side to the situation at hand. Regardless though, he does have a strong sense of justice and wishes to forever repay for his crimes (Even though they most were never intentional). You also won't see him give an expression that he's angry but a good indication that his is would be his arms transforming. Which means that he's giving into his predatory instincts.

Predatory Instinct Empowerment: By embracing his Predatory Instinct his body progressively changes into perhaps the absolute perfect predator of the sky. This goes by a percentage (to make things simple rp wise)

.7%: This is the base in which he's at at all times. Only his eyes have transformed at this point and has the following

25%: The de facto form you'll see him when fighting. It requires a fair bit of energy to transform up to this point and may not be able to transform if he hasn't eaten in a while unless he completely loses control. This is about how far he can go before his predatory instinct begins to take over. He has the following abilities in this form

 1. Supernatural Condition: He has an advanced level of supernatural condition. He can bench press about 20 tons. Move at speeds up 235 mph for long periods of time. Bullets do no harm to his feather scales. Very light weight despite his toned body.
 2. Reptilian Physiology / Avian Physiology: His body more resembles a reptiles then a birds their are certain aspects that point to bird traits. The scales on his body are light weight and resemble feathers. His bones are hollow just like bird.
 3. Dermal Armor - Scale Manifestation: His scales are very tough, capable of sustaining multiple grenade blasts as well as being resistant to being cut by a blade  able to cut through steel. With his scales being silver he can slightly deflect laser based attacks and has a slight resistance to them.
 4. Regenerative Healing Factor: Using his stored energy he can regenerate organs & limbs within days depending on the severity. Passively heals minor cuts and scales. Is not retroactive and is not advised that he willingly transform back to his normal state if he has sustained life threatening injuries.

Electrical Manipulation: This power has only just budded so he can't really use it. At this point in time he can only use it to shoot electrical bolts. (Will likely not even come close to reaching the peak of this ability in this rp)

Black/Worm Hole Manipulation: Wont be obtained anytime through out this rp (He gains this much later in life)

She wears a purple jacket with silver buttons at the end of each sleeve. Her eyes are pink and her hair is a crimson red. She has red and white roses tied up in her hair.

Snobbish and silent are a good way to describe her. Unless she is in danger the words that do come out of her mouth tend to be condescending. She is also very cocksure and will tend to attempt fighting battles all by herself without asking or wanting for that matter anyone's help. Despite these flaws, she does genuinely care about others. She is also not a vengeful person not bothering with petty things or even.......well major things. She doesn't seem to care about boys or girls but she is seen hanging around girls often. Maybe there's something to that, who knows.

Denila was raised like a spoiled brat, typically getting her own way. She never had any real friends because of this even when as she put it "Graced those around her with her help". This had been such since she could talk. That's just how full of herself she was and still is. This would inadvertently lead to her gaining her powers.

It was about halfway into 6th grade on a particularly hot day that it happened. Throughout that school year, Denila had started to exile above the other kids both in physical and mental assignments. Obviously this made the other kids jealous coupled with her obnoxious personality only made matters worse. Anyways, on that day she was asked by her "friends" to come with them to a cool place. She accepted albeit in her usual way. It turned out the place was the home of another kid from their class. Most of the rest of kids in the class were already there. Upon the closing of the door after she had entered, she was knocked in the head from behind and blacked out.

When she awoke lying on her side. she couldn't see anything but couldn't feel anything around her eyes so she figured she was in a really dark room. She also noted that she couldn't move her arms as they fellt like they were being restricted. She could hear foot steps and voices coming from one direction which she figured was a door. She shouted, "Hey, whos ever here. Why have you put me of all people in here." With that she could hear feet clambering to what she figured was the door. A brilliance of light burst through as the door was opened which temperately blinded her. Once her sight returned, all the kids had surrounded her.

"What should we do with it?" asked one of the kids. Another replied, "What we had already been planning, duh." "It could end up telling on us though" "Who cares, we'll just cut out her tongue too." The kids continued to murmur till one of them who was brandishing a knife nelt next to Denila's face. "You always looked down on us and now we're the one looking down on you. How does it feel huh? Well it can't be as bad as this." Without further warning the kid jammed the knife into Denila's right eye. Her resulting screamed pierced the hearts of almost everyone in the room. Many of the kids realized then and there the true malific horror that they had inadvertently wrought and ran away. The ones that stayed though, were the ones that truly hated her.
The_Orbiter.png
Ocular Blue Print Sense: The core ability to her powers. This ability overrides her normal sight and replaces it with a sphere of influence that encompasses 15ft around her. Within this sphere of influence all matter is seen as a blue print grid. If she uses her telekinesis or teleportation on an object and it leaves this sphere of influence it'll create it's own sphere of influence so long as she is still controlling it. This influence only encompasses 5ft around the object.

Telekinetic Teleportation: The combined power of telekinesis and teleportation. She can use this on anything within her sphere of influence down to a molecular level. She can only use these abilities while her Ocular Blue Print Sense is active.

Eye Regeneration: Denila's eyes are able to regenerate from any damage and if they're removed new eyes will grow in their place.

Intelligence: Denila is intelligent enough A most classes though it's nothing super human.

Weakness: Range, anything outside her sphere of influence can be a danger if she cannot react in time. Making bullets an effective means to distract her. In addition, anything outside of her initial range that she's controlling will put strain on her mind. Pure Energy based attacks are also very difficult for her to counter. Teleporting as well as flying requires alot of focus as she could crash into something or worse die from matter destruction.

With the hard limits on her power, ranged fighting is limited and imprecise. Therefore she uses small bits of matter to increase her range. if she teleports herself she teleports something else first to the destination to make sure it's safe.
[Optional: head shot image of character]
Now you see me, now you don't!
Personal Information:
Name: Kamenwhati
Aliases: Earth Name: Adrienne Vernada Super-Name: Night Owl
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Punk_girl_by_Manjimaru.jpg
lightning_returns__dark_bahamut_exosuit_ Imagine the orange as purple in the image.
Adrienne is about 5'7" and 100 pounds. She dresses in cool-pseudo punk clothes, such as jean shorts. She also very much likes band merch and such, as she has really taken a liking to it. She shows off her curves as much as she can, since she knows a little sexiness can get you among way. Usually she wears shirts that are tight and show off her stomach, frequently completely exposing her stomach. She pierced her ears when she arrived on earth, so she wears earrings frequently.

Adrienne may be in the Justice League Young Initiative because her other option is worse, but she also understands the concept of family. She knows that there are people who are willing to die for others, and she respects that. She has yet to feel that feeling since she has arrived on Earth. That doesn't mean she won't make any friends, though. She has pushed her family and home planet to the back of her mind, totry and suppress the sadness of missing them. She also has yet to tell anyone that she is from a different planet, and is reluctant to tell people that she is a murderer or an alien. She is flirty and friendly when she gets to know someone, though, and is very interested in having a relnionship with a man. She realizes that people and their lives are important, and wants to protect them from harm.

Kamenwhati was born into a royal family on the planet of Terrisha. The planet was similair to earth, except that they required no sun to survive. The plants and animals instead fed off of the dark energy that lurks in shadows, undetectable by humans. Kamenwhati was about 7 years old when an asteroid struck her planet, knocking it out of orbit. She survived because the royal family wizard forsaw the event, and told them to take cover along with a group of people that could help them survive. The result was The Council, a group of about 15 people with assets that made them survivalist, such as weapon building, astronomy, ship building, as well as the wizard that forsaw the event. Everyone else was killed from the impact, and everyone on the council was infertile, except for Kamenwhati. They realized that they and humans had strikingly similair anatomies, and that, if needed, Kamenwhati could interstate herself into their society and repopulate the race. They supplied her with everything she would need to survive: a skin and hair pigmentation change, which was a that was necessary since she had a human-like body shape, The Ebony Blades, and Lokewatt, in case one of their enemies found out that she was alive, and try to kill her. Finally, the wizard passed on some of his powers to her. When the planet passed close to Earth, Kamenwhati said her goodbyes, and shipped off to Earth in a tiny vessel. She landed in Russia, and she was quickly adopted by no-one. She resorted to living on the streets, where she scrounged for every scrap she could get. She found herself doing this until she was 14, when a man tried to advance on her. She took out her daggers, but the man pushed her into an alley. Suddenly, as the man whispered into her ear his plans, she found herself on a ledge above her attacker. In her anger, she found herself funneling her anger into her daggers, and watched them extend into two katanas. She dropped onto her attacker, quickly dispatching him. She realized then that she wasn't completely screwed. She quickly left Russia on the first plane she found, which was not difficult to find. She simply sat in the bottom of the plane. When she arrived, she found herself in America, where food was abundant. She also realized that she could use whatever ability she had used in Russia to get money that she needed for food. She found that when she focused hard enough, she could control her powers. She eventually became a little theif, stealing from cash registers here and there. She could easily escape, and her face didn't load in any databases they tried to scan her on. She found a liking in music from an iPod she stole off of a pedestrian, and became especially interested in bands like Nirvana and the Offspring. She stole her name from the name at the top of the iPod, since she knew her's would be quickly questioned. The police eventually went to the Justice League for help after a few years of country-wide robbery. They identified her as a meta-gene holder and sent a small group to capture and arrest her. After a few weeks in jail, they offered her a choice: she could join the Young Justice Initiatve free or stay in jail for another year. Well, you can guess which one she chose. After seeing the Justice League, she understood the value of life. She gained respect for heroes, and what they do.
Combat Information:
Meta-Gene Activity: Active
(Acquired After joining and a bit of time)
The Ebony Blades: A set of swords given to Adrienne by the council when she left. They have black handles with dark purple intricate designs etched into them. The etchings glow with a dark energy. The blades are about 3 feet long and are not only black, but appear to be devoid of all light. They radiate a dark energy. Adrienne has the ability to collapse the swords into two six inch long daggers when she finds it necessary.
The Lokenwatt: A rifle like weapon that can trace an enemy with a single cartridge of dark energy. During the day, a dark energy cartridge is about as powerful as a regular bullet. At night, they are much more powerfull. They have a signifigant amount of stopping power and usually can pierce very strong armor. Lock on time is about 15 seconds, but she can fire a non-tracing cartridge if needed.
Other:
A set of twelve throwing knives, three inches long, made out of black metal.
[spoiler-Powers/Abilities/Techniques]
Most of Adrienne's powers depend own the shadows. The downside being that she can only work in the dark and she is (literally, not practically) powerless in the light. Her living on a planet with a slightly greater gravitational pull, she has increased agility, speed and strength, but nothing impressive. Her greatest asset is her ability to transport herself through shadows, or "Shade Jumping". She basically can teleport within shadows in her immediate vision. Finally, while in shadow, she is able to make herself completely invisible, making her perfect for stealth.

Adrienne prefers to take the stealth route whenever possible. In combat, she toys with her opponent, sometimes causing more injury than necessary. She is slow with her opponents, but only when she knows she has the upper hand. In face to face combat, she is rather dangerous, with enhanced speed, agility and strength, but nothing that compares to others around her.
Chaos and I feel like your character is in need of some work. The first thing we want focused on, is the abundance of weapons in your character. You have given her a pair of swords that can transform into daggers, a gun, and twelve throwing knives. This is quite a lot, especially once you start to look at the fact that she is also equipped with multiple super powers. I feel like the gun is not needed, your reasoning was to give her some range, but for one that isn't needed. In this RP, characters will be working together as a team and so having a weakness in their fighting capabilities is encouraged so that other members may be able to make up for them and fulfill the dynamic that is valued in RPs like this one. On top of that, you already fulfill that need with the throwing knives, which keep with the motif you are trying to establish. Also, choose either swords or daggers, don't let them switch between. You already fulfill the need for a dagger with your multiple throwing knives anyway.

Chaos and I are additionally concerned with the fact that you incorporate multiple physical advantages on top of giving your character super powers that, depending on the circumstance, are either useless or overpowered. To become completely invisible makes me automatically wary and then with the added ability of being able to teleport just about anywhere at night and with no restriction on time or energy it is all just too much.

Furthermore, I am not too fond of your character's backstory. It seems a bit rushed and without a lot of substance. It just doesn't seem very plausible to me that for one a group of aliens would evolve in almost the exact same minor as humans on Earth, especially without the key characteristic of the Sun. Don't go so extreme! When a Meta-Gene activates the power it produces does not need to be related to the character's background, current situation, or mentality, it could manifest as something completely random so you don't need darkness to be such a key part of your character's background. Furthermore, I find the story with the council and the wizard to be a bit cheesy and over the top.

Unfortunately, the assassin was the renowned Deadshot (who in this universe is Oliver Queen), who had already been known to have never missed a shot.

Chaos and I feel like Mary's personality is too similar to Sin's and part of that is my fault. I should have gotten the Character Gallery up sooner, however; Sin's application has been posted on the first page for a few days now. By having too extreme introverts that focus on self-control on the team, a large portion of the dynamic that should comprise an RP team is taken away. I only plan to have 6 or 7 members in this RP and so by having two of them with so similar personalities the variety that should be there is greatly lessened.

Another issue I have is her powers. As I am understanding it, she is able to lift, crush, and tear apart anything because her Meta-Threads have no connection to her actual muscle. Similarly, I don't understand how she can use the threads to move herself if they are generated from her fingertips. It would be impossible for her to raise her arms with the strings as they originate from a point lower than her arms and on that same point she could never lift herself. Finally, since she is able to connect them to people and then control them, that too could turn out to be troubling overpowered.

Finally, Mary's appearance is extremely offsetting, while I don't mind having a dark- themed character as a hero, even bordering on the anti-hero dynamic, she looks quite a bit like a villain and quite a malevolent one at that.
Other applications will be reviewed by Sonic and I over this next weekend, I apologize for the delay guys.

[spoiler: Quinton "V" Vindice]

In view a humble vaudeville villain...

Personal Information:

Name: Quinton Vindice

Aliases: V (goes by both the letter V and the number 5)

Age: 15

Gender: Male

[spoiler: Appearance :]
tumblr_mbw6cg27Ek1rsk71yo1_500.png
In addition to the image all of V's appendages are covered therefore making it impossible to actually tell if he is actually a he or what skin color he actually is. In addition, thanks to his powers and coat when combat begins it appears as if he is a ghost that does not possess a lower torso. Since he is so young he has a measly height of 5 feet 4 inches. He is unhealthily thin though it would be hard to actually notice that sense he typically wears the family uniform of an oversized black coat. Only by being really close would you actually be able to see his hazel eyes or maybe see the bridge of his nose in the sense that he is of some kind of African American decent. This is mainly to make sure that he cannot be separated from other members of the family. Though in this sense he has branched out to some kind of individuality by wearing different hats for each situation. Sometimes as an attempt of comic relief.
[spoiler: Personality:] V is one of the perkiest and most upbeat people a person will ever meet. Unfortunately he's mute. Due to how his family structure is set up, he is not to speak or use words until he is of age (16) outside of education. So in order to communicate with others not in his family he uses his chains or body language. There is never an instance where he doesn't try to perk someone up or smile. While he may have a physical age of 15 he has the emotional age of a hyper active 5 year old. Always wanting to be useful, always wanting to contribute, always wanting to learn. On the negative side of that he gets attached to people quite easily. Outside of his family he doesn't have many friends and when he does develop new friends any act of aggression against them is met with unrelenting brutality. Luckily his family has given him plenty of combat training so he does not let loose during every single confrontation with the enemy. During fights though he is natural follower. He is trained to follow the commands of the leader even if he disagrees with them.  He isn't trained to think against the commands of the leader.
[spoiler: Backstory:]

V is actually one of ten children all adopted from the same orphanage somewhere in the states by a nomadic cult. At the age of 5 he was indoctrinated into the ways of this cult. He would begin schooling, combat training, and development of the mystical arts that lay dormant inside each individual. Needless to say being a hero was nowhere in his line of sight. In fact it was rare for him to think individual thoughts on his own. One of his few self made decisions is the absolute fondness of his favorite movie V for Vendetta. He loves that movie so much that he discovered a loophole in the no talking clause of his upbringing. Yes he couldn't speak his own words but nothing forbade him for walking around with popular movie quotes recorded so he could have one ready at any given time. His "father" was so amused by this that he actually allowed V to walk around with a special devices catered to his specific needs.

One random peaceful night though everything would change. It seems a portion of the nomadic cult family had chosen the wrong neighborhood to take up residency for a short while. A group of misguided youths had made to unfortunate mistake of trying to do a home invasion of Vindice household. Needless to say the youths regretted their decision rather quickly. Unfortunately, an overly cautious neighbor saw the break in, heard the violence, and proceeded to call the police. By the time the police arrived they let themselves in only to bare witness to the a disturbing sight. Immediately the police began to open fire. As the Vindice used their abilities to defend themselves this of course lead to the Justice League being called in. After needlessly long and costly battle followed an abrasive culture clash when it came to the way the Vindice raised children; the Vindice agree to a trade. V's father would have V participate in the Young Justice program in exchange for the Justice League to stay out of family business for a while and for the Justice League to cover all of the damages that was incurred during their fight. As the gitty obedient boy child he is V jumped at the chance to try out some new adventure.
[spoiler: Combat Information:]

Meta-Gene Activity: Inactive

Equipment/Inventory/Weaponry :

The Vindince come with two sets of magical pure platinum chains that they wear under their over size coats. The first set that is used most commonly used has a base length of 9m and can supposedly extend longer through some the family magic. The second set of chains is concealed under the coat to act as a makeshift bulletproof vest.

Powers/Abilities/Techniques

Chains: Like all members of the Vindice family V has the ability to psychically manipulate his chains to do as he commands. His mental control over them is absolute to the point where he can swim perfectly fine while completely wrapped in them. While he hasn't truly mastered the skill yet the family does have the ability to summon chains to their aid. Another ability he has master is the alteration of the shape and links of his chains. Mostly this means that there will be spikes on the individual chain links so he can slash the enemy.

Hell Fire: Though he doesn't know its Hellfire V calls forth a Black Hellfire to coat his chains when he is in combat. The flames do not do much outside of regular fire at his power level. Though the adults of his family have been seen using the fire to make things explode, propel themselves at unbelievable speeds, and other deadly feats.

Fighting Style

When fighting by himself V tries to end a fight quickly using his chains versatility to the fullest. If he does find himself fighting someone vastly superior to him in terms of skill he is very quick to use misdirection or the defensive chains wrapped around his chest as a sneak attack. In terms  of combat on a team scale V, like stated before, will typically wait to be commanded to do something. However in the event that one doesn't not present such commands he will instinctively come to the aid of the teammate who is most in danger or most injured.

V's father would have V participate in the Young Justice program in exchange for the Justice League to stay out of family business for a while and for the Justice League to cover all of the damages that was incurred during their fight. As the gitty obedient boy child he is V jumped at the chance to try out some new adventure.

However in the event that one doesn't not present such commands he will instinctively come to the aid of the teammate who is most in danger or most injured.
hgy71.jpg
“Let me show you why money is the best superpower...”

Personal Information:
Name: Oliver Strider
Aliases: Kaiser
Age: 19
Gender: Male
With a height of 5’9 and a weight of 165 pounds, Oliver is only slightly shorter than most boys his age. Due to his training, he is extremely fit, sporting surprisingly cut arms, as well as broad shoulders. His eyes are brilliant green, but often hidden behind a pair of sunglasses, which he uses to hide his identity while in public. Oliver’s dirty blonde hair is usually a tad messy, due to his habit of scratching the top of his head while in deep thought. Despite his wealth, Oliver usually wears very simple outfit that consists of a white collared shirt, along with a pair of fitted black jeans, which cover his only slightly expensive black wingtips.

Given his vast amount of wealth, one should not be surprised to find out that Oliver is very cocky.Though he tries his best to maintain a "Cool guy" image around his peers, Oliver can be quite sensitive, making him extremely easy to offend. He values his pride above all else, and will accept any challenge thrown his way, if he feels that his skill is being called into question. A firecracker, Oliver has a terrible habit of losing his temper, and jumping headfirst into dangerous situations. Most would dismiss this recklessness as stupidity, but those who know Oliver are aware that he is far from an idiot, and that he is more than capable of thinking himself out of most situations he finds himself thrown into.

Due to have spending the majority of his child hood in a laboratory setting, Oliver has never had many friends. This means that he will go to great lengths to protect the few that he has acquired, and would never leave an ally behind, regardless of the circumstances. Oliver takes great pride in the tittle of "Hero", and is always eager to prove his strength to the League, as well as his father. Unfortunately, because he takes every mission as seriously as he does, he can often times be blinded by his objective, causing him to miss the big picture.

The only son of the famed weapon designer, Steven Strider, Oliver has lived what should have been a very enjoyable life. His nannys would cater to his every need, and every toy he even so much as mentioned would appear in his room the very next day. It seemed the only thing that Oliver couldn't have was time with his father, who spent the majority of his time working in his lab.  Steven Strider was a very busy man, and it appeared that he could not effectively balance raising his son with his work. Unfortunately, the latter ended up taking the higher spot on his list of priorities. Reducing young Oliver to a minor distraction, that would occasionally sneak into the lab during the day and pester Steven with question about his creations.

As the years went on, Oliver became painfully aware of his father’s lack of interest him. So at the age of  11, he decided to begin studying his father’s trade; in hopes that it would eventually help forge some kind of connection between the two. Steven was at first opposed to the idea, but after seeing his son’s natural talent, he began to show traces of approval. For the next couple of years, the two worked on many projects together, most of which involving gear and weaponry that was specifically made for meta-humans, and vigilantes. It was around this time that Oliver took notice of his father’s fascination with the meta-humans. Whenever he came into contact with these people, Steven’s eyes would become bright with the interest and admiration that Oliver had been starved of for so long. Having never showing any signs of meta-gene activity, Oliver was forced to continue growing as an engineer, using their time spent in the lab as a way to grow closer to his father.

At the age of 17, Oliver noticed that Steven appeared to have begun losing interest in him once again. He would now frequently leave Oliver to handle the main projects alone; while he himself would work on something he called “The Kaiser”. For this, Oliver began to harvest resentfulness towards his father, until one day Steven revealed to him the product of his labor; a suit of armor that would allow a normal human to preform feats that were equivalent to that of the meta-humans that Steven found so fascinating. What surprised Oliver most about this sudden reveal, was the fact that the suit appeared to have been designed specifically for him. Steven explained that one of his high-profile costumers had informed him about the Justice league’s plans to start a junior initiative, and that he expected Oliver to wield the K.A.I.S.E.R unit as one of its members.

Initially taken aback by his father’s sudden desire for him to become a super-hero, Oliver soon came to the realization that this was the perfect opportunity to permanently earn his respect. The training started almost immediately, and though those two years were of the hardest in his life, he pushed through them; swearing to himself that he would join the ranks of the heros his father so strongly admired, and prove himself to be among the best. When it came time to join the Young justice initiative, Oliver was beaming with confidence.
_690747_orig.jpg

Oliver's father's life work and legacy, the Kaiser unit is designed to augment Oliver's physical abilities, allowing him to preform feats equivalent to that of a Meta human. Constructed from depleted promethium, the suit is extremely durable, without sacrificing the wearers ability move swiftly during combat. What separates the Kaiser unit from similar exoskeletons is it's capacity to temporarily assimilate, and interface other pieces of technology. The time in which the Kaiser unit can support said technology is directly effected by the complexity of the assimilated device, and once ejected, the Kaiser unit will reject any attempts to re-assimilate the device for a set time period. The Kaiser Unit will only respond to those of the Strider family, and will be virtually useless in a hands of anyone else.
R.M.C- A very high capacity wrist mounted computer that reassembles a large watch. Oliver is never seen without this device, and uses it primarily for hacking and storing/researching information. The R.M.C also functions a way for Oliver to remotely control the K.A.I.S.E.R unit, but offers nowhere near the amount of combat potential as actually wearing the suit.

Margret- An advanced A.I that was gifted to Oliver for his 14th birthday. She is hosted in the R.M.C, and serves as a digital servant, as-well as partner for him in combat. Hacking, monitoring the K.A.I.S.E.R units vital information, organizing his schedule, and generally keeping Oliver's life in order, are just a few of the things Margret is tasked with on the daily.

Kaiser Blade (the sword in the picture of the K.A.I.S.E.R unit): A blade forged with depleted promethium. It is able to cut through a plethora of materiel, and is Oliver's primary weapon of choice.
[spoiler-Powers/Abilities/Techniques]

Kaiser’s Dirge: Oliver’s last resort, and assumed final move. He overrides the suits safety settings, allowing for the Kaiser unit’s core to release 100% of its stored energy. He then channels this energy into a single concentrated blast of raw power. The Kaiser unit will enter hibernation mode after use of this attack, and will no longer augment its wearer’s body. It should also be noted that the heat that the suit generates from using this attack is substantial, and will leave the user’s body covered in severe burns.

Royal Guard: The Kaiser unit shoots off of Oliver’s body in pieces, and then reforms itself around the target ally, protecting them from incoming damage. Note: This can also be used to restrain criminals.

Wrist mounted laser: The K.A.I.S.E.R unit’s left arm is equipped with a small wrist mounted laser, which is capable of firing concussive bolts of energy. While not inherently lethal, these shots are easily strong enough to break bone if hit in rapid succession.

Shoulder Mounted Micro rockets: Hidden in the suit's shoulder plates, these small rockets pack quite a punch, and are aimed via a targeting system located in the helmet.

Technological geniusAcquiring a love for technology at young age , Oliver has spent a very large part of his life learning about weapon design, in hopes of gaining his father's approval. He is a capable engineer, as well as hacker, and is able to spot design flaws in even the most intricate security systems.

Technological Assimilation: The Kaiser unit can temporally assimilate other technology into it's own design. The effects of assimilating alien tech are unknown as of now.

A front line fighter, Oliver uses his augmented speed and strength, as well as any accessible technology in the environment to overwhelm his opponent. He tends to use the Kaiser unit's long range weaponry as a way to close the gap between him and his targets, before beating them into submission with is preferred style of combat, the close quarters kind. While he does prefer not to kill criminals, Oliver is a realist, and believes that  there are some people out there who are beyond redemption.

His main weakness is that he is always eager to assimilate new technology. This makes him somewhat predictable, as he will almost always go after any tech that catches his interest. Oliver is also heavily reliant on his A.I, Margret to monitor his surroundings, as well as the suits vital signatures , and will take some time to adjust if she is somehow disabled.
The only problem that Chaos and I have is the technology assimilation into the suit. We feel that your character has enough going on without it and has the potential to become a bit overpowered. Take that out, and acceptance will follow :D

It is quiet hard to taunt enemies from that far away.

She can only fire 2 nets before she is out of ammo, but they are a perfect defensive tool foe her to use.

Fighting Style

Caitlyn fights from a max range, taking steady shots and trying to take out high priority targets. In other words, she is a sniper. She will fire standard bullets if the weather is clear, toggle her thermal is she has trouble seeing the enemy, she will toggle thermal vision. She only uses her Calibrated Fire to pick off fleeing opponents, or cripple enemies before a fight. If an enemy gets too close, she will try to trap them in her net, and allow others to deal with it from there. She is more or less a coward.
