Jumon translates from Japanese to English as Spell. Noroi translates from Japanese to English as Curse. Because unoriginality, that's why.

 

[spoiler=Jumon Ji]I had no idea what I wanted to do with this set when I made this other than the very basics, so have a basic monster recycler.

You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) to the Spell/Trap Card Zone. When this card is Special Summoned by its own effect: This card's ATK and DEF become 0, also you can add 1 "Jumon" monster from your Graveyard to your hand. If you Xyz Summon using monsters in the Spell/Trap Card Zone, you must use twice as many materials. If this card is in a Spell/Trap Card Zone, it cannot be in defense position.[/spoiler][spoiler=Jumon Yo]Yay, still awkwardly deciding what the set as a whole should do.

You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) to the Spell/Trap Card Zone. When this card is Special Summoned by its own effect: This card's ATK and DEF become 0, also you can discard 2 cards; destroy 1 card your opponent controls. When this card attacks an opponent's monster: You can banish 1 card from your Graveyard; increase this card's ATK by half of the defending monster's ATK, also this card is not destroyed by battle this turn. If you Xyz Summon using monsters in the Spell/Trap Card Zone, you must use twice as many materials. If this card is in a Spell/Trap Card Zone, it cannot be in defense position.[/spoiler][spoiler=Jumon Gi]Basic searcher + small life point gain. Yay.

During your End Phase: Increase your life points by 500 for each "Jumon" monster you control. If you Xyz Summon using monsters in the Spell/Trap Card Zone, you must use twice as many materials. If this card is in a Spell/Trap Card Zone, it cannot be in defense position.[/spoiler][spoiler=Jumon Pe]And this is where I decided that I would use banishing as a thing.

If you Xyz Summon using monsters in the Spell/Trap Card Zone, you must use twice as many materials. If this card is in a Spell/Trap Card Zone, it cannot be in defense position.[/spoiler][spoiler=Jumon Ku]First mention of the Jumon Noroi cards, and in the incorrect place, dang it! Shouldn't be a cost... That's why we have one of the Noroi's effects, though.

If this card is in a Spell/Trap Card Zone, it cannot be in defense position.[/spoiler][spoiler= Jumon Nuy]Turning the last effect of the Jumons into a plus because yes.

2 level 2 monsters
When this card is Summoned, if it has 4 Xyz Materials: You can detach 2 Xyz Materials from this card; double this card's ATK and DEF, also it gains the following effect.
-This card is unaffected by the effects of Spell and Trap Cards.
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; increase this card's ATK and DEF by half that card's ATK.[/spoiler][spoiler=Jumon Mui]See above. Also, the way the card maker makes the text smaller can be odd at times. The text shouldn't be that small.

3 level 2 monsters
When this card is Summoned, if it has 6 Xyz Materials: You can detach 2 Xyz Materials from this card; destroy up to 2 cards your opponent controls, also this card gains the following effect.
-This card is unaffected by the effects of Spell and Trap Cards.
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; increase this card's ATK and DEF by that card's level x300, also destroy that target.[/spoiler][spoiler=Jumon Noroi Hahn]The only LIGHT attribute Noroi, since I hadn't decided that they would be DARK attribute yet. Should have probably worded that "take control of the monster this card is battling," but whatever.

If this card is banished by the effect of a "Jumon" monster: You can discard 1 card; Special Summon this card, then this card's ATK and DEF become 1000. When this card battles while you control a "Jumon" monster in a Spell/Trap Card Zone: You can tribute this card and pay life points equal to this card's ATK; take control of the opponent's monster, then increase its ATK by 1000.[/spoiler][spoiler=Jumon Noroi Pahn]No, past me! What are you doing!? That cost should not have a semicolon after it, it should have an ", and if you do," after it! Oh well. That's what the next card is for.

If your opponent Special Summons a monster: You can negate the Summon, and if you do, return the monster to the Deck, then banish 1 "Jumon" monster from your Deck. You can only activate this effect of "Jumon Noroi Yahn" once per turn. This card cannot attack directly.[/spoiler][spoiler=Jumon Noroi Fahn]And this is who turns the minuses of discarding into (possible) pluses. Basic 1 card destruction.

2 level 4 "Jumon" monsters
When this card is Special Summoned: You can banish 4 cards from your Graveyard, and if you do, destroy up to 2 cards your opponent controls. When this card battles: You can detach 2 Xyz Materials from this card; negate the attack and attach the defending monster to this card, then this card gains that card's effect. When this card leaves the field: Banish 1 card you control.[/spoiler][spoiler=Spell Curse Rain]Yay, a Spell Card in a set that has Spell in its name.

If you control a monster in the Spell/Trap Card Zone: You can return this card to the hand when it resolves, but you cannot activate "Spell Curse Rain" for the rest of the turn. Destroy 1 card your opponent controls, and if you do, banish 1 card you control. During your opponent's turn, when they declare an attack while this card is in the Graveyard: You can banish it; negate the attack and banish the attacking monster, then banish 1 "Jumon" card from your Graveyard.[/spoiler]
