Make a Spell Card that affects all monsters on the field in some manner.

Card A:

Activate only when your opponent controls 2 or more face-up Attack Position monsters. Target those monsters, change those targets to Defense Position. Their DEF becomes 3000 and their ATK becomes 0. All of your monsters gain 1000 ATK and the following effect: If this monster attacks a monster with 3000 DEF, destroy it at the end of the Damage Step. You cannot Normal Summon the turn you activate this card (but you can Set).

Card B:

You must control a face-up monster to activate this effect. Flip all face-up monsters on the field face-down. If a monster flipped face-down by this effect is flipped face-up by a card effect: Return it to the hand. You can only activate 1 "Total Eclipse" per turn.

Since you guys need votes, guess I'll provide one.

Card A essentially turns your opponent's monsters into destruction fodder, as while your opponent does get a defensive boost; the second effect ensures that they die when attacked. The attack boost is helpful for destroying monsters that have less than the 3000 DEF prerequisite to trigger (especially against monsters that were not targeted for this, and still remain in Attack Position). Last effect won't be much of a burden in most Decks, considering a few of them focus on Special Summoning (given Pendulums exist now). That being said though, there is no OPT limit, so hypothetically you can just drop another one of these; essentially make another two monsters get blown up by effect destruction and another power up.

Note that the boost here is permanent, so if the monsters affected by this effect remain; they keep the extra points and that added effect.

Card B essentially flips all face-up monsters on the field, so they can't use their effects; allowing them to get destroyed by stuff such as RDA or whatever kills Defense Position monsters w/out applying damage. Or you can just destroy them in battle normally; assuming you have a face-up monster to attack with after applying the effect. On a sidenote, this can be played in combination with Swords of Revealing Light or something along those lines against swarm Decks to bounce their monsters back to the hand/Extra Deck.

Come to think of it, there was one card that did something similar to this card's first effect; SoRL's cousin, Concealing Light.

So, what's the lesser evil of the two: Giving your opponent a defense boost, but said monsters are now instant effect destruction targets, plus giving your monsters extra killing power OR flipping all face-up monsters on the field face-down. Definitely the latter, so card B gets vote here.
