Spellweaver Cards

Building on a Pop-culture set of Final Fantasy I did, I decided to adapt the formula for them and create a Realistic set. The Spellweavers are, like my other sets, meant to be fun, realistic but not overly competitive. They are meant to give a true feeling of Casting Spells to debilitate your opponent and control their field.
According to history books, Teal was created by the gods to become a haven for all life that they gave breath to and life flourished on the rolling green of the land. Humans erected great cities of stone and steel and flourished within their golden walls. But peace did not last. A powerful wizard known as Zembiran rose up with dark magic and began to cover the world in shadow. He marched from city to city, leaving only destruction, fire and death in his wake. His magic stretched across al realms, enslaving creatures of all sizes to his cause, creating a army big enough to reshape Teal into a land of his hatred and malice.

But life did not surrender easily.

Aklest, the leader of free men gathered all free men to Hundol, the largest city of Teal and from there led the last defence against the evil wizard and his army of shadow. The battle lasted years and millions of living beings lost their lives until Akelst met Zembiran in single combat and cut him down amongst the bloodied field of battle. But darkness does not falter easily; With his last breath Zembiran unleashed a spell that tore the souls of every surviving body on either side and scattered them across Teal and achieving his ultimate goal of destruction.

Thousands of years passed and life began to seep back into Teal once more. Scientists and Mechanics created ways to focus the still roaming souls into vassals known as Duel Monster cards creating groups calling themselves 'Founders' individuals dedicated to seeking out these souls and creating the worlds most powerful cards to become the greatest duellist in the world and earn the King of Games title.

These are the cards, these are the cursed souls of Teal.
Please abide by the Advanced Clause, RickyKrilovs.

It's fine to say that you like the set, but you must provide reasoning on why you do. This section is built for constructive reviews that can help the thread creator improve their craft.

On to the TC:

It appears that your cards revolve around these Arcane counters, though only Binsen has any effects that require you to remove them. Artesian is there to restore any counters that may get used up at the time. Alexia is there as a searcher to get out the other three, who are more or less the power players in this series so far (though it can SS other smaller Spellcasters as well, so I could probably see it used in those Decks for Apprentice or whatever needs to be used at the time).

I'll comment on the Spell Cards specifically, but just as an overview.

 • Blizzard just stops the opponent's monster from striking; whether or not it's 1-2 turns (based on if you used an additional copy prior). Just keep in mind that your opponent can simply use the affected monster as Extra Deck material, making the effect moot.
 • Meteor is essentially a Spell version of Dark Mirror Force to an extent, or Raigeki if another copy got used. Either way, it's monster destruction and does have the capacity to hurt certain Decks in some cases with its first effect alone.
 • Poison either guarantees you one monster that can be killed easily; or essentially neuters them all with a 2nd copy in graveyard. It's a nice tool for dealing battle damage + getting them to destroy something, especially given the monsters here have relatively average stats for Level 4s.
 • Life is essentially a free revival card that puts Arcane counters on the SSed monster if you have another copy. For now, the counters wouldn't do much except for the monsters shown here or for some generic combo that requires you to remove counters for stuff.
