You can only use this effect of "Black Pendulum Magician" once per turn. Unless you have a "Magician" card or "Odd-Eyes" card in your other Pendulum Zone, this card's Pendulum Scale becomes 4 If this card is pendulum summoned while you have a "Magician" card in your pendulum zone with a different name: you can destroy 1 face-up monster your opponent controls with the highest ATK (your choice, if tied), inflict damage to your opponent equal to its ATK, and draw 1 card. But I don't think this is consistent enough to build around; you would have to search it with Spellbooks, or not search it at all and wait for an opportunity to Pendulum Summon, but that would give you a lot of unusable hands with multiple Pendulum Monsters you can't use. Oriannis Posted October 1, 2014 Report Share Posted October 1, 2014 I must say that this is a nice addition to what any pendulum/ Spellcaster Deck. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that we now have two heavy pendulum beaters (with odd-eyes being the other one) I would suggest toning down the ATK but that seems unfair just because there is a second beater.
