Chaika - The Coffin Princess - Avenging Battle

I'm losing interest in this show ;-;

They did a great job at bridging the gap to the next season, and I can't even tell it ended, but it just feels…painfully boring, in a way.

I can't quite describe it…something just feels off with the show.

I already liked Chaika (the real one hue hue hue), and she is certainly improving with more time, at least, character wise. Seeing more emotions coming out of a character is always nice.

I'll probably continue to watch it, as it is certainly not worth dropping, but I probably won't keep up with it...

To be fair, it's a lot harder to 3v1 than 2v1. So even if Akari didn't really do much, here mere presence helped a lot.

And again, to be fair, characters don't always need to be doing something. Just think about real life and yourself. Some days you might be the life of the party, and others your presence might barely be noticed.

I'm sure she'll have more interaction and purpose in the episodes to come.

Also, I really wanted Fredrica to turn into a Dragon just to freak out the wine lady. That'd be awesome.

Holy balls. Everything just started GOING at once. Amazing.

Well, I finally have my answer to "Why is Akari even there?" Her antics and encouragement keeps everything rolling.

CHAIKA IS STILL THE MOST ADORABLE THING ON PLANET EARTH

I also love how this is ONLY episode 3, and it already feels like a lot has happened with so much more to go. This pacing is unreal, I adore it.

I'm glad Akari actually showed that she does care about someone besides Toru this episode.

EDIT: Episode 4 was good as well, finally we know the specifics of all the Chaikas.

Though that raises the question. What happened to Vivi that half turned her into Chaika after the fact? And the Guys feel like they're part of something else, too.
