(2) Face-up Gemini Monsters you control can be Special Summoned to become Effect Monsters and gain their effects instead of Normal Summoned. M-EffectThis card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it become an Effect Monster with this effect. • Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 Gemini Monster from your Main Deck, but its ATK and DEF become 0 while it is treated as a Normal Monster. Color Coded effect explanations: (1) The vast majority of Gemini Monsters are Level 4, meaning this card will always be able to Pendulum Summon those whether it is a Scale 5 or Scale 9. The Level 8 ones like Darkstorm Dragon or Phoenix Gearfried are just a little too hard to Summon right now to be worth it. But Level 8s in general are also too powerful to just drop on the field for free, so the high scale mode requires you already have a Gemini on the field. (2) Let's face it, Gemini Summons taking up the Normal Summon hurts the mechanic to the point it is unplayable today. This solves that. Standard Gemini Clause, effect to Summon ANY Gemini from the Main Deck, with the Hieratic Dragons' "ATK/DEF become 0" restriction, while the Summoned monster is in Normal Monster 'mode'.
