X-Over Academy (Drac's Version) [Signups & OOC]

Recommended Posts

Well, Jolta did this first, but we haven't seen any real follow-up in about a month, so I'm taking over.

So, here's how the RP will work, before we get into the lore:

Everyone will create two characters- one Summoner and one Familiar.

The Summoner is an OC that follows this universe's rules and expectations.

The Familiar is an existing character that was forcibly dragged into this world.

The kicker? You will not be your own Summoner/Familiar pair- someone else will be your Summoner's Familiar, and vice versa. I will randomize once I get apps.

Lore time!

In a world where humanity's exposure to magic was complete, the world became quite the interesting place.

Provided a focus of the wood of the Orian tree, nearly anyone could perform spells. Of course, only the most powerful mages could perform spells that were truly utile, and it was a select few that had enough power to call out into the vast plane of the multiverse to call a powerful Familiar to their side. Due to how unreliable and completely random the spell was, there was a definite rule set to prevent anyone from using it more than once- enforced by having the book with the incantation under constant guard, and use of Short-Term Memory Erasure spells to prevent those who read out the incantation from using it again.

In fact, most spells were hard to master, but it was the Summoning spell that was considered most dangerous- beasts from other worlds could cause incredible amounts of destruction before their Summoner could safely incant the Contract spell, and that was if the Summoner succeeded in casting it at all- many an unlucky Summoner in the olden days was accidentally killed by the thing they had sought to control, and entities of considerable strength still hide in corners of the world.

All spells are rather unreliable until perfected, and as such most mages stick to a few they've decided to master, occasionally using one that they need in a particular situation- and the lack of training in that particular spell means that it usually acts unpredictably.

The Academy in the Air was founded over seven centuries ago, with one purpose- to allow those mages with the raw willpower needed to Summon to perfect their magic, providing a safe venue for themselves and their Familiars.

Our plotline will basically start from the Summoning ceremony (which happens the moment they arrive at the Academy, so unless you agree to know each other beforehand, you don't), and follow the adventures of their first year- which, of course, will be filled with unnecessary levels of drama and action.
Summoner-
Name: Arn
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance
36e00b25521727bfa20fe11e4626bc7c.jpg
Personality: Used to being alone, Arn's attempts as socializing are usually awkward and end quickly, especially those with girls. He is both blunt and easily irritated, though doesn't lose his cool often. While unused to the company of other people, he has a soft spot for animals, though these feelings are usually not mutual. He's studious but is by no means a genius, requiring time and hard work to complete his goals. He's more innocent and earnest than he seems, though he rarely meets someone to which he can open up to that would see this side of him. While his knight training didn't go smoothly, the ideals and morals found therein still impacted his sense of honor and justice, making him very righteous.
Backstory: Arn's family ancestry can be traced back through many centuries as a once famous line of knights. However, their golden age behind them, the family has been in steady decline for the last few generations, culminating in what many consider to be its last, Arn's. Desperate to regain their former glory, Arn's family trained him and his siblings harder than any others before, in an attempt to groom the perfect successor who would put the family back on track. It wasn't long before it was clear Arn wasn't so desperate. He followed his family's training regiment, but never showed much aptitude for knighthood. Always more content with studying spells than swordplay, his family pushed Arn ever harder, which only served in pushing him further away from their ideals. Upon reaching 16, the traditional coming of age in his family, he finally left his family and his life behind, along with most of his possessions; even his family name. The only things of value that he took with him were his knightly armor, which he held sentimental value for despite what it stood for, and his wooden sword, carefully crafted in secret, made of Orian wood as a catalyst for his spells. His family did not stop him. For an entire year, he traveled, honing his craft and learning of the world. However there was only so far he could advance on his own, so he set his sights on the one place he hoped he would belong: The Academy in the Air.
Equipment:
- Armor: Standard knight's armor. The only link he kept to his former life, he left its helm at home due to it being engraved with his family crest.
- Wooden Sword: A wooden sword, crafted to be of the highest quality. Doesn't see much use as a sword, but being made of Orian wood, it is used in spells while remaining hidden in its sheath.
Spells:
- Reinforce: Arn can heighten the physical attributes of a material or object, such as his armor or sword.
- Conjure Sword: Arn can conjure a multitude of ethereal blades with their own wills to fight on his behalf.
- Far Sight: A sort of scrying spell, it allows Arn to view things a great distance away.

Familiar-
Name: Black Knight (real name Zelgius)
Age: Unkown (he ages slower than normal humans)
Gender: Male
Species: Branded (crossbreed between Beorc, AKA human, and Laguz)
Appearance: Black Knight armor, his face underneath his helmet, and the Brand on his back
Ferd-black-knight.jpg
ZelgiusFE10Portrait_BK.png
Mark_of_the_Branded.png

Personality: A high-ranking General, the Black Knight is extremely disciplined, and is unquestionably loyal to his Master (normally Sephiran, but for this obviously he would follow the Summoner that formed the contract with him). He is cold and calculating, but not without mercy. Strategically minded, he always chooses the most efficient strategy to suit his needs. Generally quiet, he will often view events to see how they unfold before taking action. Older than his appearance may lend him, he is able to give wise counsel. He is always careful to never remove his armor around others, except his Master, so as to keep the Brand on his back, as well as his identity as Zelgius, hidden.
Equipment:
- Alondite: A mighty two-handed sword blessed by the goddess Ashera. It is unbreakable and able to pierce any magical or holy defence, as well as magically enhance the user's own defences. It can fire shock waves from its blade for indirect attacks.
- Armor: Originally blessed by the goddess Ashera, its blessing has faded (explanation never given in Radiant Dawn) and is no longer immune to all damage outside that from similarly blessed weapons. Still remains as heavy plate armor with great defensive capabilities.
- Warp Powder: A pouch of magic powder that can be used for teleportation across vast distances (at the very least, across countries). However using it tires out the user a fair amount.
Powers/Abilities:
- Swordsmanship: The Black Knight is one of the most skilled and powerful swordsmen within the Fire Emblem Tellius games.
- Spearmanship: The Black Knight is also extremely skilled in the use of spears, though not as much as with swords.
- Physical Abilities: The Black Knight is extremely powerful, able to move at full speed and with complete freedom of movement even in full armor, as well as wield a two-handed sword in one hand.
- Imbue: The Black Knight can use his slight magical affinity to heal himself some, though only so often.
- Nihil: The Black Knight can negate certain battle abilities.
- Eclipse: A powerful finishing move, the Black Knight quickly strikes his foe multiple times while bypassing their defences.
Notes: In the scope of the games he's in, he's a powerful boss character. As is normal with game mechanics translating to stuff like this, feel free to limit his abilities to the level you deem appropriate, without crippling them.
Familiar-
Name: Tesability Black
Age: 16
Gender: Genderless/Feminine
Species: Champion Thunder Dragon NetMonster
Appearance: Tesability Black is a draconic being of solidified data known as a NetMonster. About the size of a Great Dane, she is black with gold underwings that seem just too small for her to fly with. Her ears take the form of large silver leaves and does not have horns, unlike most dragons. Her eyes are a solid black color, but the strange white dot that appears on her eyes gives those who see her a clue as to where or what she's looking at. Tesability is classified as a Thunder Dragon Champion NetMonster.
Personality: Despite what all happened to her world before she left, including the destruction of it to leave behind only shells of the past world, Tesability is quite naive and childish, especially for a dragon-like creature. She often moves from one thing to another, always finding something that catches her interests for a few seconds before moving on. She has this absolutely-bad habit of not thinking at all before jumping head-first into something, sometimes literally. Such jump-ins can and has led to her being on the recieving end of some serious ass-whuppins. In combat, she's a different story. The monster that she is comes out in full force and she's not nice about how she fights...
Equipment: ...Tesability doesn't have any way TO carry things...
Powers/Abilities:
~Crystal Reversion: All Champion NetMonsters are originally created from a special gem comprised of solidified data known as a Champion Crystal. When a Champion 'dies', they instead revert back to this crystal form and require a human's touch to be brought back to their chosen forms. In order to truly kill off a Champion, the crystal needs to be shattered afterwards.
~Tech Jump: As a being comprised of data, Tesability is able to jump into various forms of technology and take control. Normally, this doesn't work with tech that has magical components, but the jump to this reality has changed that and given her that ability. She can also jump out of them to become a 'living' entity as well.
~Electricity Generation: She is a living battery, able to both breath out electricity or just in general generate electricity from her scales to form either a shield or a way to deal extra damage in the form of a running tackle. Electricity also heals her, repairing her damaged data in a fight.
~Lighter than she looks: Despite looking like her wings wouldn't be able to support her in flight, she can actually fly and quite fast too. If she surrounds herself with electricity while in flight, she can become a literal lightning bolt, moving so fast it would almost count as a tracable teleport. Trying to land safely after using this can be a trick, though...she's pulled herself halfway out of walls before.
~Literal Hard Head: Tesability is not exactly the smartest being out there and that's due to the number of times she's rammed head-first into something, giving her one of the thickest skulls you're gonna ever see on a being. If you manage to actually break it, pat yourself on the back, because that's a hell of a feat.
Notes: Whoever winds up with Tesability is gonna have to tame her first if they look like a traditional mage...especially since it was a Mage NetMonster that destroyed her original home...
Summoner-
Name: William "Will" Blackmoore
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: 1365994742661.png
Personality:
An intense young man, Will seeks to become the greatest mage that the world has ever known.  He pursues this goal with every ounce of his strength at nearly all times, replacing those times when others would relax with constant practice to improve his mana control.  Furthermore, he recognizes that knowledge is the most important form of power that a mage can possess and thus he seeks this out relentlessly with little care as to what source this knowledge springs from.  None of this means that Will is stupid, quite the opposite really, just that his primary goal is the growth of his own power with little thought for the consequences as relating to others.  As a result, he tends to not have friends out of a mutual agreement between himself and any that would seek to befriend him that doing so would only be stressful and bothersome for all those involved.
Backstory:
Born the son of the renowned inventor and mechanist Johnathon Blackmoore, Will had the unfortunate issue of growing up in his father's shadow.  For a while, the boy delighted in the mechanical masterpieces his father created, but eventually he realized that he would never be able to live up to the legacy that could well be thrust upon him.  Thus he began searching for a solution to this problem, and in the process discovered an ability to cast spells that he had never suspected before.  Bringing this up to his father, the two of them ultimately agreed that it would be a good idea for Will to study magic and learn to command his powers as best as he could.  After several years of studying independently, the young man received an invitation to study at the Academy in the Air, and was overjoyed by that turn of events.  He packed his bags, gathered his belongings, and made his way off towards the nearest air skimmer station.
Equipment:
Battle Staff: A rod of Orian Wood stretching about as long as Will is tall, this staff serves as his focus for the purposes of casting magic.  Additionally, each end of the staff has been overlaid with heavy studded steel plates attached firmly to the wood to allow for the implement's use as a weapon.  The steel has been specially prepared with arcane runes inscribed upon it to prevent interference with casting spells.
Studded Leather Gauntlets: Exactly as the name suggests, these are gauntlets formed of hardened leather and inset with steel studs to grant them greater protective ability.  This pair specifically bears particularly large studs over the knuckles, allowing their wearer to punch with greater force if the need arises.
Clothing: It was his father's idea that he dress in fine clothing while studying as a mage, and it was his own to ensure that what he wore was functional.  It might look a bit restrictive for the young man, but it actually allows him a great deal of freedom of motion.
Spells:
Ward: A translucent barrier formed of what seems to be blue-white light, this spell provides protection from harm. It is capable of deflecting spells weaker than itself, absorbing spells of equal strength, and reducing the impact of spells greater than itself.
Bolt: An offensive technique, this spell fires a seething dark mass towards a target at roughly the speed of a bullet. It impacts with force relative to the amount of mana used in casting it, and explodes to deal damage over a small area.
Doombolt: An evolution of the Bolt technique, this spell rapidly fires a number of Bolts in a target direction. Though it is somewhat more difficult to aim them accurately, this is still a fine spell for dealing with large groups of enemies.
Mage Armor: Similar to Ward, this spell creates a suit of translucent blue-white armor over the caster and provides protection from physical attacks and some magic attacks.  The armor may be damaged, and may be repaired if the caster takes a moment to put more mana into it.
Force: A technique that makes weapons glow with arcane power, this ability increases the force with which an affected weapon strikes by a truly significant amount.  This extra force can be mitigated by magical defenses.

Familiar-
Name: Moderatus, King of Britannia.
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Appearance:67d840481ed4940b19b9bc2f69635d29_d5ht9ik
Personality: A driven young man, Moderatus is not the sort that gives up easily once he has set his mind to something.  Of course he is no fool, and however quickly he comes to a decision he has most certainly put a great deal of thought into it.  As a one time Knight of the Round, the virtues of Honor, Honesty, Valor, and Loyalty are among the most important ideals in his heart.  As such, he seeks to conduct himself in accordance to those at all times so long as those around him prove worthy of such conduct.  Concerning those who he rules, and the less fortunate in general, Moderatus is a great deal like his father.  He sees the duty of a King as to rule his people justly and fairly, making certain that their needs are met if he can.  At the same time, he does not detach himself from the world as his father did.  He openly acts upon his flights of fancy, and has been known to laugh louder and rage longer than anyone else in his kingdom.  He sees this as his duty as well, to remain attached to the world and enjoy all that is in it so that those who look upon him might have an example of how to do those very things.  In particular, he is quite the fan of the arts and has commissioned more than a few paintings and songs in the past.
Equipment:
Clarent:  The sister sword of the legendary Excalibur, Clarent is a blade that has been with Moderatus ever since he claimed lordship over the land of Britannia.  Much like its sister sword, the weapon is unbelievably strong and seems to have some divine qualities to it.  Few defenses, Mortal, Magical, or Divine, can offer resistance to this mighty blade, and by extension there are few things that the weapon cannot turn aside.
Armor:  Not quite as legendary as the King's blade, this armor is no less worthy of being included in any tale of his exploits.  Worn since he first became a knight, and refitted several times to fit his growing body, this suit of plate armor is of the finest craftsmanship.  It offers little protection from magic attacks, but all but the strongest of physical attacks are turned aside against this armor.
Magic Pendant:  A means of communication more than anything else, this simple gold pendant bears a powerful enchantment.  It acts as an anchor to Moderatus' kingdom, allowing him to project himself across the vastness of the many worlds so that he may rule even when absent.
Powers/Abilities:
Swordsmanship:  Having been able to defeat one of the greatest swordsmen in all of legend in single combat, it goes without saying that Moderatus is something of a master in the art despite his young age.  Few can stand against him in close combat, so long as he wields his trusty blade.
Mounted Combat:  Knights are traditionally mounted warriors, and Moderatus is no exception.  He is every bit as capable of fighting from the back of any beast as he is while standing on his own two feet, though certainly more comfortable riding on the back of a horse than anything else.
Spellcraft:  Being the son of one of the most famous, or infamous, Sorceresses in all of legend, Moderatus would have been hard pressed not to pick up on the skills.  Most of his abilities which would be classified as spells deal with summoning things to him, such as his ability to call forth a mighty steed on which he can ride into battle, or allowing him to accomplish simple tasks more easily, such as spontaneously donning his armor.  In short, most of his spells are utilitarian in nature.
Hexcraft:  Of course, given his mother's particular skill in Black Magic, Moderatus picked up on that as well.  He knows a great deal of ways to harm his foes with this magic, such as inflicting any number of diseases upon them or even sapping their strength to leave them weak and unable to stand before him in battle.  Honor demands that he not rely upon these abilities, but they give him a powerful edge in battles where more normal means are insufficient.:
Summoner-
Name: Amber Fulmen
Age : 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: koisVet.jpg?1
(without the ears) 5'9" - 161 lbs.
Personality: Amber is the free spirited type of person. Someone constantly looking for any source of excitement, whatever the world may bring yet. Due to this sort of youth filled attitude of hers, she's usually quite friendly with others and quite vocal about her opinions towards others. In addition to this, she's cocky when it comes to her own skills, always ready to test her abilities  and willing to take on any sort of challenge that approaches her.
Backstory: From the earliest of ages, Amber had some sort of fixation with magic in the world. She had always seen it as something that could do anything, preform any sort of miracle or feat no matter how small or large. And so, she always wanted to try and pursue learning the magic, any kind of magic she possibly could. The only problem was that she had no idea where to start. After finally deciding upon her focus, she started to try and learn as much of that as she could. Wanting to go on a life filled with fun and adventure, she needed to master her magic first, and with only being able to do so much by herself, she went to the only place one could. The Academy in the Air.
Equipment: An Orian wood arm guard. A single iron dagger.
Spells:
-Lightning Spear: Generates electricity in her hand and just flings a bolt of lightning at them.
-Volt Charge: Can coat a small conductive area with electricity.
-Magnetic Force: Anything object that she's charged with electricity, she can pull herself towards.
Gender: Female (Can also Alter on Rebirth)
Species: Milletian Elf
Appearance: This can vary heavily upon rebirth, but several things are always constant, such as her Pointy ears, and there are always details that she willfully becomes constant, in this case, She has Hair that radiantly glows black and red with power, and she has red eyes, however, her clothes and her hairstyle vary heavily, right now, she wears Black clothes with red and gold trimming, with a Black Breastplate that frequently glows in the same rhythm as her hair, same with the frills coming out of her sleeves, and her Black boots, Her hair is worn in a wavy style with beads going across her head, and black roses randomly adorning it
Personality: Almost always confident and optimistic, She often hates it when she gets Separated from her favorite clothes. she almost always mischievous and often pulls pranks on other people. She often loves playing with her master, who is almost always busy. She is known to hold a crush on her master as well. Equipment: She has a Hermit's Staff, A Cylinder, a Guard Cylinder(Which is a Left handed Cylinder with a shield on it), and 3 belts, 1 that holds Lots of Alchemy Crystals, 1 that holds Ingredients for cooking, and another that holds Magical Crafting Ingredients, She also has a Bag of holding on her shoulder that holds a couple wands, several clothes, a few Dreamcatchers, and the Brionac.
Powers/Abilities:
Rebirthing: Veirus has the ability, upon aging the first time in her current form(Which happens every Saturday, so per say Once a Week.), to "Rebirth", which teleports her back to Erinn, this allows her to change her appearance, aside from clothing, She can stay in Erinn after rebirthing until she uses the Brionac to return to the Academy. This only works in her Home Plane, Erinn, and the 2 Sub Planes of Erinn, The Other World, and Falias.
The Brionac: Veirus's Spear, known as The Brionac, is a wondrous item. As she is it's protector, it can never leave her possession and can be in her hands when needed. It has the ability to create portals to alternate universes, as long as she has a Stone or a Fragment of a stone whose origins are of that dimension, and lots of Electrical Energy. Veirus is not strong enough to do much damage with this in any battle, except to other Wondrous items native to Erinn, and it's only real danger, Being able to use it in a spear of Light to completely shatter enemies, was eliminated when she Aligned herself to Morrighan's power instead of Neamhain's, however, this universe blocks the usage of those powers for unknown reasons.
Wildshape: Using one of her Dreamcatchers, She can turn into any creature she has interacted with, and that is quite literally a large number of people and animals, but it takes a special kind of stupidity to not tell her apart from the real thing, because she always has a Black "V" on top of the head of whatever she turns into, and Unlike Garris's Wildshape, she can only use her basic physical abilities as her form allows, and she can fly if the form allows her to, and she can turn back, but nothing else.
Icebolt: A Frost spell that creates a Small ball of ice that can be shot at your opponent at high speeds, 5 of them can be Saved up to orbit around Veirus and shot in the manner of a revolver
Ice Spear: This Fast-charging Frost Spell fires a Spear of ice, that harmlessly freezes it's victim on impact, which the Ice around the victim Subsequently explodes with the chance of the Freezing spreading to others, can be charged up to 5 times for more potency. Requires her Staff
Firebolt: A Fire Spell that creates a Small ball of fire that can be shot at your opponent at high speeds, 5 of them can be Saved up to orbit around Veirus and shot simultaneously
Fireball: This Slowly-charging Fire spell can be thrown after being charged 5 times, Dealing insane amounts of damage in a wide area to others and the environment on impact. Requires her Staff.
Lightning Bolt: A Lightning Spell that creates a Small bolt of lightning that can be shot at your opponent, 5 of them can be Saved up to orbit around Veirus and shot simultaneously at different enemies,
Thunder: This Slowly-charging Lightning spell, Although Faster than Fireball, shoots Charged Electricity as a Lightning Bolt at multiple enemies, This Electricity stays in the victim's body, Turning them into Living Lightning Rods, often calling freak thunderbolts from above, even on a clear day or even in a building, Up to 5 charges can be used with each charge hitting 3 enemies a charge with a number of Lightning strikes equal to the number of charges, Requires her Staff
Hailstorm: This Ice Spell creates a Snowstorm around her that does not affect anything temperature-wise, the Snowstorm takes some time to create lasts about a few minutes, After the spell is cast to make the Snowstorm, Veirus positions her staff to gather chunks of ice from the snowstorm to hurl at enemies, This spell deals as much, if not more damage than her fireball, but affects a much smaller area, Requires her Staff
Snap Cast: Once every few minutes, She can Instantly cast any of the above Spells at full charge without expending any energy.
Shockwave: A Very powerful counterspell, It has a chance, when hit by a Melee attack, to let off a discharge of electricity around her, pushing everyone in the area away from her. The chance of this is based on how much charge this has, and it slowly charges. At 100% Charge, the pushback is guaranteed to happen
Wind Blast: Requires her Cylinder to use, she blasts a huge gust of wind from her Cylinder, simply Throwing back anyone aimed at without any real injury, if aimed at point-blank range, the knockback is much greater.
Rain Casting: Requires her Cylinder to use. She can Hold the Cylinder(s) up and produce a huge cloud that covers a wide area and lasts for a while, after the cloud is fully formed, it then rains, and then becomes a massive Thunderstorm whose Lightning strikes are surprisingly harmless, but it causes it's victims to spasm
Shock: Requires her Cylinder to use. It charges a target with loads of electrical energy, not harming the target, but shocking any person around it. If she uses this on herself, then holds the Brionac, It becomes charged and she can create a portal using the Brionac
Summon Golem: Requires her Cylinder to use this, She summons a seemingly harmless pile of huge White rocks.... She can hold still and Concentrate to form it into a particularly fast golem that can easily catch up to a Cheetah, and has powerful attacks, Attacking Veirus returns the golem into a pile of rocks.
Barrier Spikes: Requires her Cylinder to use, She can cause a bunch of wooden Spikes to protrude from the ground and form a barrier

Ah.
Provide a link to the most accurate version of the myth, but explain [in brackets like this] how you will deviate from the myth- but don't make any edits that make the link you provided basically void (like having Odysseus as a bumbling moron who got by on lucky guesses rather than the quick-thinking every major telling agrees upon).

Species: Branded (crossbreed between Beorc, AKA human, and Laguz)
Appearance: Black Knight armor, his face underneath his helmet, and the Brand on his back
Ferd-black-knight.jpgZelgiusFE10Portrait_BK.pngMark_of_the_Branded.png
It is unbreakable and able to pierce any holy defence, as well as magically enhance the user's own defences.
Can't yet figure out a summoner without creating an Expy yet...but I has a Familiar schemed. I also have no problems with just going with a Familiar if someone just wants to do a Summoner only.

EDIT: Summoner under scheming...time to bring in one of the Empyrea twins. :3

Summoners-
Name: Radiana Empyrea
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Appearance: (Will do once on computer with decent art program)
Personality: One of two twin sisters, Radiana is considered the calmer, observant and more adult one compared to Lunari's chaotic, outgoing and childish nature, despite the fact that their names would suggest it to be the other way around. Radiana is almost always seen with a quill to a notebook, so it would seem fitting that her magical foci takes the form of both a quill and book. Whenever she spies an scenario to write down and turn into a future story, she is fast to open her notebook and even faster to draw and ink her chosen pen. She is often drawn to the pursuit of knowledge, always looking for her next story in what ever artifice may cross her way.
Backstory: Normally, when born with a twin, you find yourself in constant competition with the other. In Radiana's case, such was not even an issue, her twin's carefree nature prevented such things from occurring. The pair were born of a pair of skilled thieves, blackmailing them and forcing said people to continue paying them for their continued silence. It was a skill developed out of immediate necessity when the pair was born, since the father had unfairly lost his job as a merchant's assistant. While he did keep an eye open for any honest work, their parents drilled into the twins' heads that, despite the fact that they were doing this themselves, one should not steal from others. Radiana took what ever opportunity she had to learn and study, hoping her knowledge will eventually land her in a better future. Miraculously, after acquiring an unusual book and quill pen pair that were both made entirely of reshaped Orion wood, she found herself in the Academy. She doesn't know if her sister wound up with the same fortune or not....
Equipment:

~Blank tan-colored book made entirely of carefully-shaped Orion wood, looks vaguely like the Create from the anime 'Card Capture Sakura', there are 30 sheets that make up its pages

~Special quill pen that's made from magically-shaped Orion wood as well that writes with pure magical energy, is used to write in the magical book

~She has a belt worn at all times that holds her book in a pouch on one hip and her special quill in a holder on the other hip. Both leather containers are designed to protect what's within them.

Spells:

~Scribed Projection: While thinking of the person she wishes to project an message to, she can write or draw what she wishes another to hear or see in her book in the form of a telepathic message. A few moments after she's done, the writing disappears.

~Information Storage: This is a written spell two-part spell. Radiana writes down a paricular command into the book, then follows it up with any information she views as possibly needed for future use and lasts for as long as she keeps writing. She uses a similar, but altered written command then what she wants to have shown in her book to pull forth information about a specific subject. This allows her to analyze information when things are a lot more calmer and she is able to focus on the information.

~Dragon's Flight: Closed book between both hands, Radiana utters a spell that allows her to grow black draconic wings from her back. Her skeletal system and circulatory systems temporarily change to accommodate these new wings when they appear. However, they only last for up to an hour, for any longer will result in
Notes: Radiana Empyrea (and her twin, Lunari) are actually expies of a pair of dragonling-sibling characters of mine. Just as is the case with the human twins, their names do NOT match their personalities.

Familiar-
Name: Tesability Black
NetMonsterTesabilityShadowrun_zps6cd1543
Personality: Despite what all happened to her world before she left, including the destruction of it to leave behind only shells of the past world, Tesability is quite naive and childish, especially for a dragon-like creature. She often moves from one thing to another, always finding something that catches her interests for a few seconds before moving on. She has this absolutely-bad habit of not thinking at all before jumping head-first into something, sometimes literally. Such jump-ins can and has led to her being on the recieving end of some serious ass-whuppins. In combat, she's a different story. The monster that she is comes out in full force and she's not nice about how she fights...
Reference Link: Tesability Black in the GCRP (This is the only real reference to her, since her point of origin...well...)
Alright. three half-complete apps in and functioning.

Woo, this looks like it's gonna be good.

Chaika: The Black Knight looks pretty good from where I stand- the immunity's already gone, there's an extreme focus on physical combat . . . two things- the Warp Powder is kinda OP, and Alondite is just insane. Perhaps you could tone them down, or remove some things entirely?

I'll have Summoner app up later, too.

Summoners-
Name:
Age (We are humans):
Gender:
Appearance: (Provide a suitable description or a clear image)
Personality: (Roughly 75 words at minimum)
Backstory: (Roughly 75 words at minimum)
Equipment: (Anything your character owns- there must be at least one object made of Orian wood to cast spells with)
Spells: (No more than five, no less than 2. Be reasonable.)
Notes: (Anything else I need to know?)
Name: Sakamaki Izayoi
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Appearance:
BqmypWY.jpg
Personality: Izayoi Sakamaki, who was bored of his everyday life, wanted something fun to do. He even claimed that if he could sell his boredom, he could make a living out of it. For that reason, he seems to love all kinds of games. Although loud and rowdy at times, he describes himself as a studious type. He's also very arrogant and rude but knows when to back off. Though seeming violent on the outside and self proclaimed hedonist, savage, vulgar and hopeless person, he is shown to forgive people who apologize sincerely very readily. He has a unique charisma that draws people to him and follow his lead. However, because he knows how different he is from others, he feels that he has no one to depend on and thus often taking on all the burdens himself.
Equipment: Headphones
Powers/Abilities:
- His ability grants him a boost in power and possibly perception. Even his speed is increased greatly. He can also cancel and destroy other supernatural powers
- Aurora Pillar; power that revolves around creating a light construct in the shape of small pillar which then enlarges to the point of reaching sky, he then swings it at his enemy. This is the true manifestation of Izayoi's power.
Notes: He will be Summoned even before he got a letter in his universe.

For the Warp Powder, it was never specified in-game how much it fatigues BK. So how about one use per day at the risk of his life if he uses it more, and he only has enough for three more uses, since he is no longer in Tellius and can't restock?

As for Alondite, in canon it's specifically stated that it's able to damage things that are similarly blessed, like his armor was. I just added in the piercing magical defence thing since I figured it would also apply to that, but I can just toss that and have it only be able to bypass other holy blessings, which I imagine is much more situational. And for specification, in-game, Alondite increases defence by +5, which in-game is 1/7th of his normal defence, so it's pretty slight. For the sake of RP we can just make it so that it keeps his armor from getting messed up enough he can't use it anymore, if you want.

Fair enough- so, the Warp Powder will be limited to 3 maximum uses throughout the RP (this is gonna be fun), and Alondite, for calculations' sake, increases his strength by 50% when he has to fight magically-defended targets, and (because the DEF up is still a cool concept), the sword's presence will simply ever-so-slowly repair his armor whilst he holds it.

Good?

The steady auto-repair was an idea I wanted but not sure if you would be good with so I'm definitely fine by that. All good with me. A shame I won't be able to RP him myself, he's possibly my favorite video game character ever.

EDIT: Before I make my summoner, what level of technology does this world have? Are we talking just flat out medieval era, or maybe magitek like in a lot of fantasy RPGs?

I was thinking this would be circa 1535.

Muskets, rigged ships, the beginning of piracy, the New World, and the last few knights barely hanging on to their place in the world.

Oh, you will! That's the beauty of it!

You control both characters you create- however, you won't be both members of your own team. Your Summoner and Familiar will not be teaming up together- that's all the OP said.

Oh, I misunderstood, I thought your Summoner and Familiar would be paired together but would be RPd by two different people. Well then, I'm gonna enjoy this even more, that's awesome.
Name: Arn

Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Doesn't see much use as a sword, but being made of Orian wood, it is used in spells while remaining hidden in its sheathe.
Spells:
- Reinforce: Arn can heighten the physical attributes of a material or object, such as his armor or sword.
- Conjure Sword: Arn can conjure a multitude of ethereal blades with their own wills to fight on his behalf.
Notes: For now I've made up nothing about his family outside of what was in his backstory, but if we ever want a plot point regarding them, things can be fleshed out more.
Currently a WIP, the only things I'm missing are more spells. Can't think of what I want right now.

Those two spells complement one another very well- I really like the fact that we have two Summoners with two very different specialties from the get-go.

Now, if you Familiars want to be paired up with someone specific, I will hear out reason, but I intend for it to be entirely random for now.

There's one app up I have yet to accept, because the wiki link I have doesn't specify much information. Stupid lazy fanbase . . .
Name: Moderatus, King of Britannia.

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Species: Human
67d840481ed4940b19b9bc2f69635d29_d5ht9ik
Knowing that there are questions the above image does not answer, I will answer them now.  Moderatus stands just a few inches shy of six feet tall, and has a fair bit of muscle on him as one would expect of a knight.  The skin covering that fairly muscular frame is quite fair in coloration, and bears more than a few scars across it.  In particular, the young man bears an especially nasty set of scars on his stomach and his back which seem to line up as if he had been run through.  Facially, he bears a remarkable resemblance to his father, the late King Artorias, bearing a strong Roman jaw and the other characteristic firm features associated with his forebear.  It might even be possible to mistake him for that legendary king were it not for the dark brown locks hanging about his head.  Further allowing a distinction to be made are the surprisingly bright crimson eyes set into his face and bearing an almost unnatural intensity.  When not clad in his armor, he defaults to a brightly colored tunic paired with dark pants and a belt of fine leather, while his sword is ever at his side in its scabbard.

A driven young man, Moderatus is not the sort that gives up easily once he has set his mind to something.
Reference Link: http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/307578-paladins-of-emeralda-oocstartednow-only-accepting-at-least-2-paladins/?p=6281602

Honor demands that he not rely upon these abilities, but they give him a powerful edge in battles where more normal means are insufficient.
Notes:

Moderatus is an adaptation of Mordred from Arthurian Legend.  I just felt like using the version I had come up with for a previous RP.

Furthermore, ignore the mention of the Garnet Syndicate in the app from the other RP.  This is supposing he's been summoned before that occurred.

Finally, yes the original version of this character wielded a great deal of divine magic.  I chose to alter this, because I do not believe that it ultimately fits with his origin story.
Familiar done, I'll add my summoner later.
