Once per turn: You can banish 1 LIGHT monster you control; add 1 DARK Pendulum monster from your Deck to your hand. When this card is Tribute Summoned: You can target 1 of your banished Level 9 DARK monsters; Special Summon it. Its effects are negated. When this card is Pendulum Summoned: You can shuffle 1 of your banished DARK monsters into the Deck; draw 1 card. You can only summon “Rainbow Guardian Luce” once per turn. lokun489 Posted October 25, 2014 Report Share Posted October 25, 2014 Okay so only being able to summon light and dark attribute monsters isn't that big of a draw back seeing as light and dark monsters have had the strongest monsters for a long while. Secondly, adding one another to the hand isn't that broken , until you see their scales. A range of 2-9 for levels is a pretty big range for such a quick add. Clearly designed for chaos decks with the banishing as well. Their tribute and pendulum effects are fine though, as although they seem weird, I don't find them broken. Although the DARK Pendulum is searchable by Odd Eyes, it seems like it would take a really weird deck to put it onto full scale abusable. MAYBE DDD decks, but that's pushing it since they don't actually require Pendulums aside from Leonidas or if you are trying to OTK with Kaiser. Even then, the search effect is a complete turn off since you can't use it in there.The fact that these are legit Level 9 monsters that doesn't require something weird I actually dig since that leaves for a Rank 9 engine, the first that would ever exist. I would put this more as interesting and surely is something that would be something to experiment with. Chaos Dragons I wouldn't see having room, Chaos Control..... eh, maybe that Chaos deck implied by the new Gaia monsters? I'm not sure what to think really. It's like Pendulum Scraps. The pendulum scales are a little insane but after checking most of the "chaos" monsters require special requirements to be special summoned. Pendulum Chaos as the Arc-V Final Boss's Deck, making FULL advantage out of those scales. Some notable cards this pair can Summon are: Dark Simorgh Dark Horus Emes the Infinity Everything Lightsworn Plaguespreader Zombie Destiny Hero Malicious you drew with no Destiny Draw. Everything in the Photon/Galaxy dual Archetype except Photon Satellite Constellars tellarknights (Proto) Cyber Dragons and finally, when he finally gets off the banlist (it's been stated no card is forever banned) 11. Dark Magician of Swag Chaos Also, these can Pendulum Summon anything with with the X-Eyes Y Dragon name scheme, except Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon, which is Special Summoned by tributing Red-Eyes B.
