Got the idea of making this contest a while ago from this post.
 
Requirement
Make a Dragon or Wyrm-type version of a Warrior-Type monster, preferably a legendary or well-known one; basically, make a reverse Felgrand Knight. Just to name a few of potential candidates: Freed, Gearfried, Gilford, Marauding Captain, Dai Grepher, or even archetype warriors such as Shi-En.

Rules
[spoiler=]1. Regular YCM Rules apply.
 
2. The card must be a Dragon or Wyrm-Type monster based on an existing Warrior-Type monster.
2.1. It must be a Synchro or Xyz monster.
2.2. For flavor purposes, it must have a higher ATK and DEF than the original monster because, well, the warriors are meant to be empowering themselves up by transforming into a dragon.

2.3. If you make a Synchro Monster, it must have a higher Level than the original monster's Level/Rank, and appropriate for its new ATK/DEF.

2.4. If you make a Xyz Monster, then it can have any Rank as long as it is appropriate for its ATK/DEF (e.g. no 2-material Rank4s with 2700+ base ATK), and avoid silly things such as a 3-material Rank1; if the original monster is also a Xyz, then the Rank of its dragon form must be higher.
2.5. Try to keep it generic and playable (generic materials, splashable effects, etc.). Avoid making cards that are too strong but difficult to Summon (Rank10s, Accel Synchros, etc.)
2.6. However, adding flavorful effect(s) that makes a reference to the original monster's effect (if any) is encouraged.
For instance:
- If you are taking Gilford the Legend, add a secondary effect that rewards the player for running Equip Spells or Warriors.
- If you are taking Shi-En, it addition to its generic effect, it could have a second effect that supports Six Samurais.
 
For a real example, take a look at Yazi: As a generic, un-targetable Synchro7 beater it is already good, but with its second and third effects it further rewards you for playing Yang Zings and Wyrm-Type monsters.
 

2.7. Alternate summoning conditions such as "Xyz-evolving" are allowed, but should come with fair restrictions (e.g. Ptolemy, Constellarknight Diamond). You can take advantage of this to add flavor to the card.

 

3. Entries must be your own.
 
4. Write the card text under the card so it will be easier to read.
 
5. Since it most likely will be difficult to find artworks of those monsters as dragons, Written Cards are allowed. When submitting written cards you have to include a short description of the artwork or appearance of the monster (how does it looks like, what changed compared to the original monster, etc.)
 
6. Check over your card before submitting it (OCG/grammar, card stats/effect), or you may get less points if it has a lot of mistakes.
 
7. Use official Attributes, and avoid awkward ATK/DEF values such as XX30 or XX10.[/spoiler]

Grading Criteria
Juts like in my previous contest, it will give more points to Creativity and Flavor, in order to properly reward the participants who manage to make a dragon monster that is both generic/playable while adding traits that make references to its original form for flavor.

[spoiler=]Balance and Design [15] - The card has a good effect without being broken, suitable ATK/DEF for its Level/Rank and # of materials required, etc.
Creativity and Flavor [20] - The effect is unique, has an appropriate or clever name, its main effect makes a reference to the original monster, or it has a second or third effect that does so, etc.
OCG [10] - Few or no mistakes in spelling and official card grammar.
Theme [5] - Follow the requirements of the card (Dragon/Wyrm-Type, based on a Warrior-Type monster, etc.)[/spoiler]

Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then apply an effect based on it's Attribute; until the End Phase. 
*DARK: During the Damage Step, if this attacking card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: It can make a second attack in a row. Your opponent cannot activate Spell/Trap Cards in repsonse to this card's attack. 
*LIGHT:  You may banish a number of LIGHT/DARK monsters from your Graveyard; Banish an equal number of cards on the field, in your oppoinents' hand, and/or in the Grave. You cannot Special Summon this turn, also switch this card into face-up Defense Position.

You can also Xyz Summon this card during your Main Phase 2 using a face-up "Phoenix Gearfried" and 2 face-up Equip Spell Cards equipped to it as the Xyz Materials. All face-up Gemini Monsters on the field are treated as Effect Monsters, and gain their effects. Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz material from this card; Special Summon 1 Gemini monster from your hand or graveyard, and then send 1 Gemini monster from your deck to the graveyard. When a opponent's Spell or Trap card effect is activated, you can send 1 face-up Equip Spell Card you control; negate the effect and destroy it.

 

Explanation for effect:

Basically another spin of Gearfried's effects, but now it's also Raptinus. Might be overkill, but hey, Gearfried is already powerful.

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

 

ATK 2700 DEF 2250 (Referencing Axe Raider's ATK/DEF)

 

Once per turn, when this card is targeted for an attack, you can tribute 1 monster you control (except this card): Negate that attack, and if you do, destroy the attacking monster, then inflict damage to your opponent equal to half of the destroyed monster's ATK.

 

 

[spoiler=Flavor Stuff]

The negation and destroying the monster references Axe Raider's description.

An axe-wielding monster of tremendous strength and agility.

Axe Raider is supposedly able to dodge the opponent's attack, then strike back, which is similar to the negating and destroying effect of this card.

During your Main Phase: You can send 1 DARK monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. You can only use this effect of "Armageddon Dragon" once per turn. Once per turn, when this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; add 1 DARK monster from your Graveyard that did not being sent there this turn to your hand.

Must first be Synchro Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned other ways. When this card is Synchro Summoned: Banish 1 random card from your opponent's hand. This card is also treated as a DARK monster. Once per turn, you can activate one of these effects.
● Target 1 card on the field; banish that target face-up. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect.
● During the Damage Step, if this attacking card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: It can make a second attack in a row, but the damage is halve.

So, in other words, Noble Dragon Gawayn is like Noble Knight Gawayn's inverse. Rather than being Special Summoned while you control a LIGHT Normal Monster, it Special Summons Level 4 or lower LIGHT monsters (from the Graveyard, of course). It's also reminiscent to Gawayn's effect because it Special Summons the said monster in face-up Defense Position. The hard OPT clause is there because I didn't want it to be that abusable, especially by Tellarknights. The Super Polymerization-esque of "Cards cannot be activated in response to this card's activation" is there to make it compete with other staple Rank 4s such as Exciton and Castel.

Obvious decks that can use this are Tellarknights, Noble Knights, Lightsworn, Constellars, and a couple more.
