Raxs
Hello guys. I have been throwing this together over the past few days. I have attempted to get the "YuGiOh Official Grammar" Immaculate, so please correct it if you spot errors (: Below are the cards. I will write a little bit about each (Some still aren't great and I am still working on them), but I have attempted to make them all relatively balanced and realistic:
Quantity: x1 I am going to be toning down this card in due time and make the summoning conditions less strict, as it stands, there is currently only one other monster in this structure deck that will support it's summoning requirement so that obviously needs to change. This card is also practically invincible, so I should make it so it can be affected by traps. This is the card I imagine would be sporting the icon of this deck and appear on the packaging. Quantity: x2 A simple card, weak in attack and defence, but it holds a very useful ability; it will prevent your opponent from taking down your tribute fodder for when you need it. Quantity: x2 A spin-off of "Man-Eater Bug" in a way. I was always a fan of flip effect cards, slashing away two random cards might be just as useless as it is helpful. With Man eater you can choose your target, but may be limited to what's on the field. This card can potentially wipe out a very powerful card, but it could also wipe out an equally useless one. Either way, it would be fun to use in battle. Quantity: x2 This is another one of those experimental cards. It may not be very powerful but it lines itself up for some useful combos and good strategies. Leaving this card out of sight for a while can surprise your opponent or keep them guessing the whole way. I will not truly know how this card feels until I use it in battle, so, until I proxy this deck for personal use I still wont fully understand the feeling of this card. It's a mystery. Quantity: x1 This card is a firm example on why raw power or effects alone don't always produce the best method of battle. This card may not have a very prominent attack, nor effect. Combined, however, this card can give your foes a run for their cards. Only raw force or a card effect can get this hulk out of the way. It is only vulnerable for attack during the one turn it switched to attack mode, After that it is free to attack and defend itself for two turns. I can see many situations (if the timing is right) that this card will be very handy. Quantity: x3 A great way to build up your defences fast. An additional monster can do wonders in battle. It being a Tuner monster, also, can be really useful if you want to fire out a Synchro quick or put your opponent on the ropes as they try to stop you. Under-par combat stats, however, limit this card in a few ways. Quantity: x1 Without question one of my favourites. Another uniquely performing card, keeping this monster at bay can constantly damage your life points, but it only takes one window of opportunity to cut down anything your opponent has waiting for you. Quantity: x2 Very good stats for a 4 star monster, but using it is very risky. This blood hungering beast must regularly attack or it will turn on its handler. If your opponent finds a way to keep these beasts at bay, you will want to find a way to get them under control. That is what this next card is all about. Quantity: x1 You can probably tell I had a lot of fun making these two cards. Keeping your beasts under control can be achieved with a little discipline from an expert. Handling them might soften them up a bit, but In the long run (If you can establish this combo) it is well worth it. Quantity: x2 This monster does not like orthodox methods. He will retreat to the shadows every time without attack. If you can find a way to summon him specially (Fipping/Special summon) he will be more than happy to stand by. Quantity: x1 Although weak and immune to most forms of attack he still has a formidable strategy. A monument of power and rank, he decides who comes and goes. Even the controller of this card has no say. Imagine if you will: when you flip that coin, he chooses which way it will land from beyond the walls of our dimension. Creepy. Quantity: x1 Moving on to Traps and Spells now. This first one is one I am sceptical about. I like the idea, but am still not sure about its realism. This is something I need you guys to comment on. Quantity: x1 Plain and simple. Not much special about it. It's just a nice backup card with a little drawback. Quantity: x1 Perhaps too wordy. But I like the idea, this is one card I really want to try out on the field. Quantity: x1 Not entirely related to this deck... I may as well mention it though. Perhaps a deck can have one irrelevant card every now and then. Quantity: x1 I've seen a few situations where I or my opponent has literally been one turn away from winning the game before losing. I would love to see that opportunity snatched and taken. A fun card. Quantity: x2 The best thing about this card is its perception. If you are cunning enough, you could use this card in a way not expected. Because it's a quick effect card, if you attack an opponent and fall into an unforgiving trap, you can pull the plug to soften up your monster, but maybe save yourself a lost game. It doesn't have to be used against your opponent. See? Quantity: x1 Perhaps too crazy to work. (There are also supposed to be bullet points in there, but currently the card maker wont generate them) I would still love to use this card. The basic premise is that it takes you into your graveyard where you battle with all the monsters and cards you just lost. When it's destroyed everything goes back to normal. Quantity: x2
I'm going to round off this post with one last continuous card. Just a little booster for big FLIP effect monster lovers (like me). Haha. Anyway, I hope you liked these cards. Let me know if some need buffing or nerfing or correcting. I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks again. Until next time.
