Tourney Report: Uril and its adventures.

Soooooooo I finally got to write this little report of how I did in last sunday's French Commander Tournament.
 
First of all, let's take a Look at what I played...The deck I posted some days ago was kinda last minute modified with cards I got (Some borrowed) just as I waited for the tourney to start so this was the final Version I ended up Playing:

So now to the Games! We played 4 Rounds and they went more or less like this:
 
Round 1: VS Erebos
Game 1: Game 1 Was what I thought playing against a Mono Black was going to be about. Drew No Accel, he Drew a lot, Ramped a Lot with Cabal Coffers and use non Targeted Removal to maintain Uril of the Table. In the End Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond FTW. Partial Resut: 0-1
Game 2: Game 2 in the Other hand had me Drawing a Spectacular Hand that let me play Uril Turn 3 and next turn equip it with Sword of War and Peace. Spirerock Knoll has Xenagos inside of it. GG. Partial Result: 1-1
Game 3: Game 3 was doing some back and forth, I ramped good...he removed stuff good, and drew a lot. Then things started to went downhills, I was locked up by a Contamination + Bitterblossom Combo. What Would I do? Nothing Just passing Turns and Scroll Racking up all my Cards each time...Eventually I hitted Selesnya Signet and Chromatic Lantern both which I use to Cast Austere Command Deleting the Enchantments and letting me play Urabrask + Uril FTW. Final Result: 2-1
 
I was 1-0-0 and passed the Erebos Test...hardly but I passed it...XD
 
Round 2: VS Ezuri
Game 1: Well this was akward, Ezuri guy couldn't play a Mana Dork turn 1. I played Joraga Treespeaker turn 1, Level it up turn 2, and played a Signet with it. Turn 3 Uril. Turn 4 Rancor + Runes of the Deus GG. Partial Result: 1-0
Game 2: Another Fast Hand Casted Xenagos turn 3 and Uril + Spirit Mantle turn 4, Ezuri Dude was about to draw Coat of Arms which have he survived the Turn would have raped me...Badly. Final Result: 2-0
 
So by the end of Round 2 I was 2-0-0, that was quite good It seemed but then...
 
Round 3: Vs Azami
Game 1: God I hate playing against Blue Decks...But oh well I managed to quickly play Karn safetily Thanks to Cavern of Souls and Dealt 14 Commander Damages with it in 1 Blow. Then...ugh...He played Meekstone, Followed by a Karn...D:, Exiled my only card in hand (a land), then exiled a card from his own hand. In the end I couldn't manage to draw another creature or artifact Removal so Karn Went off and resetted the game. Which card of his own did he exiled and started this extra game with? Oh nothing just Jace, the Mind Sculptor. Imagine how the game went from there. Partial Result: 0-1
Game 2: This game was sad, since I lost to a Single Card, Thawning Glacier...the Lack of Land Destruction I played really hurted me...Really...>_> He kept the thingy for 5 turns, which give him enough time to set up 6 Masters of the Wave with a base Devotion of 8 and taking an extra turn...GG. Final Result:0-2
 
Soooo by the end of round 3 I was 2-1-0, I was sad and had the greatest headhache after being lobotomized in those half hour Azami turns, so I went to clear up outside for a while, smoke a cigarrete and came to the last Round to see what could I do.
 
Final Round: Vs Cromat
Game 1: Well I drew Reclamation Sage, O-Ring and Act of Authority in my Initial Hand. so with all that removal I cock-blocked all the dudes attemps of ramping and fixing, He eventually played Cromat which was O-Ringed and Won attack several turns with Reclamation Sage, a Llanowar Elves, and a Sword of War a Peace...Strangely I didn't need to cast Uril this Game. Partial Result: 1-0
Game 2: This was so easy it was not fun, Uril + Spirit Mantle. He attempted to Collective Restrict me but I drew a Qasali Pridemage and said...hell no to it. GG. Final Result: 2-0
 
Soooo That was pretty much it...by the end of the Day I have a 3-1-0 on my Bag. Result? I ended up Third...Azami's Dude from Round 3 Actually Managed to go 4-0-0 and Won the tourney while the second place was 3-0-1. I had a lot of Fun, Azami's Dude won the Commander's 2014 Deck which I wanted but oh well. My Third Place prize was 1 of each of Khans's Khans. (Zurgo, Anafenza, Surrak, Sidisi and Narset). And Well That's it pretty much. XD
