One of my IRL friends wanted a custom Deck of their own after seeing me sweep through an entire group of 20 Tier 3 and 2 players with my Solemn Soldiers. This is what I made for him.

The Level 4 monsters are generally just ignition for the Deck to get started before eating a direct attack on Turn 3 for a hand limit discard.

The Level 6s hold the  main engine in their shared effect. Whenever one touches the Grave, no matter HOW they touch the Grave, they Summon the next in the Zodiac cycle and return themselves to the bottom of the Deck after the shuffle. I made sure this effect cannot miss timing by phrasing it exactly the same as White Stone of Legend, and also it is mandatory. You can Tribute one for another and the one that was Tributed will go off, Summoning its target, and that's how this works as a Rank 6 engine.

Okay, where can we begin.

1 ) The level 4's are useless. A deck would run 2 copy of all level 6's (So you can cycle through 2 at a time and get really OP.) and maybe some level 6 tech cards like tefnuit/su/hazy beast.

2 ) Reasoning is auto-win for the level 6's. No matter what they call, you go off. Not only this, but if you can SOMEHOW, SOMEWAY get 2 in the grave, you essentially win.

Well, what's the win conditions

a. You can send 2 to the grave in any way and then special out any combo of rank 6's, detach any number of cards (Specifically gauntlet launcher would be good) and then special summon out more of these guys once you're done. Not just that, but there are infinite loops within the deck.

b. You can keep making Ptolemy m7 over and over by bouncing himself to the extra deck then using the specials to make him again, since all your monsters recycle themselves. Essentially, the deck is maxx C-proof because any 2 cards can deck out an opponent, and your own trap card creates an infinite life auto-win because you can infinitely recycle.

c. You can DECK OUT YOUR OPPONENT WITH THIS LOOP! "When this card is Special Summoned: shuffle all Spell/Trap cards in each player's Graveyard into their respective Decks; each player then draws 1 card and reveals it, then applies the appropriate effect, based on the type of card drawn (Monster, Spell, Trap)" Please take this into consideration. Since there is an infinite summon loop we've already discovered, you can (essentially) keep playing this card over and over (albeit it will take FOREVER to do because it takes a good 5 or 6 XYZ summons to reset), however you will result in decking your opponent out because your cards recycle for free making it so that free draw isn't harmful to the FTK Deckout but your opponent cannot do anything about it.

Let me shell out the 2 card FTKs.

1 - ANY COMBINATION OF 2 : Mathematician / Foolish Burial / Armageddon Knight / Dark World dealing (With one in hand) / Reasoning / Monster Gate (If you run 3 of all you can, it's nearly impossible not to)

2 - Summon Ptolemy m7

3 - Detach to use eff and target itself

4 - It returns to extra, your 2 effects will go off from monsters detached and special summon 2 more

5 - Go back to step 2. Repeat.

Activate the "Shuffle all spell/trap cards" whenever it pops up.

Activate trap card if you have it

Either way its GG

really broken please fix

f***, I thought Messier7 was a Rank 7. Nobody ever Summons it  against me without Xyz Changing a Plaeides.

The card in question was Aquarius. The problem is addressed by changing the effect to on NORMAL Summon.

I have this problem where I have difficulty thinking outside a single card, or the archetype I'm actually working on. Mind suggesting changes on how to fix them, instead of just telling me to do it? I'm tempted to just make a third Fusion of 4 Sigilstars with the Horakhty Clause just to spite you.

  • 3 months later...

So playtesting revealed that without Xyz monsters, the field clogs very easily. Then someone pointed out there was an unofficial 13th sign to the Zodiac I'd never heard of, and I had my Xyz monster.

AAzpvKE.jpg

Sigilstar Ophiuchus

Rank 6 | DARK | Spellcaster-type | Xyz Effect Monster.

3 or more Level 6 "Sigilstar" monsters
  • When this card is Xyz Summoned: shuffle all cards in your Graveyard into your Deck, then this card gains ATK equal to the number of cards shuffled into the Main Deck by this effect x500.
  • Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; destroy all other cards on the field.

Note: If you're playing the archetype right, your Graveyard should never exceed 6 cards.

I hate to break it to you, but just bear in mind that the 2-month grace period for creator updates expired back in March, so...

You're more than welcome to remake the thread, but I have to lock this one.

Reason for the 2-month thing is basically aesthetic; it looks rather unprofessional to see a thread that's been out of things for a while be suddenly bumped up amidst newer ones.
