Apoqliphort Namespace, Mermail Abysstune, and some new Nekroz cards

After seeing the somewhat negative feedback on the brokenness of my previous Qliphort card I decided to try again, and this time made a new boss for my favourite deck that is hopefully balanced by its Summoning condition. If it does turn out however that this website does have a genuine vendetta against Qliphorts due to many members feeling they are broken (as was expressed by some members in my previous thread) then I will indeed abide by this and put future Qliphort cards I make in Casual Cards & Design.

Apoqliphort Namespace

Monster/EARTH/Machine/Effect/Level 12/4000 ATK/3200 DEF

Cannot be Special Summoned. Requires all "Qli" monsters you control (min. 3) as Tributes to Normal Summon, and cannot be Normal Set. If this card is Normal Summoned, it is unaffected by Spell/Trap effects and by activated effects from any monster whose original Level/Rank is lower than this card's current Level. Your opponent can only activate 1 Spell/Trap Card per turn. If this card leaves the field, and after that you control more cards than your opponent: Send all cards on the field to the Graveyard, then halve both players' Life Points. Once per turn: You can activate 1 of these effects, and if you do, you cannot Summon any other monsters, activate any other cards or effects or conduct your Battle Phase this turn. You can only control 1 face-up "Apoqliphort Namespace".

- Send all other cards on the field and in both players' hands to the Graveyard, then both players draw until they have 5 cards in their hand.

- Special Summon up to 2 "Qli" monsters from your hand.

- Target any number of monsters on the field; shuffle those targets into the Deck, then both players draw 1 card for each monster they controlled that was shuffled into the Deck by this effect.

Mermail Abysstune

Monster/WATER/Aqua/Effect/Level 4/1800 ATK/1600 DEF

When this card is Summoned: You can send 1 WATER monster from your Deck to the Graveyard, and if you do, add 1 WATER monster from your Deck to your hand, then if you had 1 or fewer WATER monsters in your hand when this card was Summoned, you can add shuffle 1 card from your hand into the Deck, also, after that add 1 more WATER monster from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn: You can activate this effect; this card's Level becomes 3 or 7 until the end of this turn. Once per turn: You can target 1 "Mermail" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it. You cannot Special Summon monsters, except WATER monsters, the turn you activate this effect.

Nekroz Synchron Racer

Monster/WATER/Machine/Effect/Level 2/200 ATK/1500 DEF

You can Ritual Summon this card with any "Nekroz" Ritual Spell Card, also the total Level of the monsters you use can be greater than this card's Level (ignoring any effect of that Ritual Spell Card that would require that total Level to be exactly equal to this card's Level). Must be Ritual Summoned without using "Nekroz Synchron Racer", and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Ritual Summoned: You can Tribute 1 "Nekroz" card from your hand or your side of the field; draw 1 card. You can

only use each of the following effects of "Nekroz Synchron Racer" once per turn.

- You can discard this card and banish 1 "Nekroz" card from your Graveyard, then target 1 card your opponent controls; return that target to the hand.

- During your opponent's turn: You can Ritual Summon 1 Level 5 or lower "Nekroz" Ritual Monster from your hand by Tributing this card and 1 or more "Nekroz" monsters you control, ignoring its Summoning conditions.

Nekroz of The Abyss

Monster/WATER/Fiend/Effect/Level 3/1000 ATK/2500 DEF

You can Ritual Summon this card with any "Nekroz" Ritual Spell Card. Must be Ritual Summoned without using "Nekroz of the Abyss", and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. While this card is in face-up Defence Position, it cannot be destroyed by battle. You can only use each of the following effects of "Nekroz of The Abyss" once per turn.

- During either player's Main Phase: You can discard this card; all monsters your opponent controls lose 1000 ATK until the end of this turn.

- You can send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard, and if you do, this card gains 300 ATK for each card sent, until the end of this turn.

Nekroz Quasar Dragon Cannon

Monster/WATER/Dragon/Effect/Level 12/4000 ATK/4000 DEF

You can Ritual Summon this card with any "Nekroz" Ritual Spell Card. Must be Ritual Summoned by using at least 3 "Nekroz" monsters you control, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Summoned: You can banish 2 "Nekroz" cards from your hand and/or Graveyard; this card can make a second attack during each Battle Phase this turn. You can only use each of the following effects of "Nekroz Quasar Dragon Cannon" once per turn.

- You can discard this card; this turn, all "Nekroz" monsters you control can attack your opponent directly.

- During either player's turn, if a card or effect would be activated: You can discard 1 card; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card.

Obelisk the Tormentor would like to deck this guy in its equal to a face. You've basically made not a boss, but a 3-up on the original Egyptian Gods.

Namespace:

"If this card leaves the field, and after that you control more cards than your opponent" -> If this card leaves the field while you control more cards than your opponent"

"Your opponent can only activate 1 Spell/Trap Card per turn."

- Change to 2 or 3

" If this card leaves the field, and after that you control more cards than your opponent: Send all cards on the field to the Graveyard, then halve both players' Life Points. "

- This card really shouldn't be leaving the field. This is a 4000 ATK beater (more than Towers) not to mention NOTHING CAN TOUCH HIM. This might as well be Divine-Beast, because seriously, this card is literally unaffected by card effects. Translation: He is unaffected by cards! Unless you use him for a tribute summon, he does not leave the field. He can't be banished, returned, destroyed or even locked in any form or fashion. It being a Qli monster aside, this is just launching a land-to-air missile at OP'ness. In the end, brokeness aside, this effect should be removed because that would just make it unfair. Qlimate Change -> Namespace -> Tribute for Disk/Shell, pain on both sides. Again, once summoned, he only leaves through a tribute summon and that is brokeness enough.

"Send all other cards on the field and in both players' hands to the Graveyard, then both players draw until they have 5 cards in their hand."

-Hand Destruction. Ding!

"Special Summon up to 2 "Qli" monsters from your hand."

-Near-instant Towers. Ding!

"Target any number of monsters on the field; shuffle those targets into the Deck, then both players draw 1 card for each monster they controlled that was shuffled into the Deck by this effect."

-Recycling. Sin removed!

All in all, this is an excellent card and it should never be introduced into the actual game. It would instantly be responsible for 2/3rds if not all ragequits on YGO. And this comes from a YGO traitor (I run and like Qli's). Good Job!

If this card leaves the field, and after that you control more cards than your opponent: No, one thing you'll learn quickly is you don't dispute my PSCT. The whole point of the effect is that if this leaves the field and EVEN THEN you still have more cards, you send everything to Grave and halve the LP to compensate your opponent (since you lose more cards than them, they go plus)

"Your opponent can only activate 1 Spell/Trap Card per turn." The whole point of this effect is to give Qlis a hard counter to Nekroz, which are Tier 0 and need to be emergency banned. (At the moment if you don't draw Emptiness against Nekroz you immediately lose the Match).

" If this card leaves the field, and after that you control more cards than your opponent: Send all cards on the field to the Graveyard, then halve both players' Life Points. " Well, your argument is not quite true. You could crash into it with a Quasar and then use Quasar's eff to summon Shooting Star then attack the Qli player for 3300?

"Send all other cards on the field and in both players' hands to the Graveyard, then both players draw until they have 5 cards in their hand." Both players still get to draw 5 cards so this makes it balanced.

"Special Summon up to 2 "Qli" monsters from your hand." Yes, that's the point - to help speed up the Deck.

"Target any number of monsters on the field; shuffle those targets into the Deck, then both players draw 1 card for each monster they controlled that was shuffled into the Deck by this effect." What do you mean by "Sin removed"?

-> Watch "CinemaSins" on YouTube, it explains my last 3 points. In regards to Quasar, you have a point, but I counter with the 1 monster so far that could stop it needs to have a specific deck built just for summoning it. The chances of Qli's running into Quasar, especially since Quasar decks aren't as common anymore (although whatever new synchron thing that just came out might change that) are somewhat slim.

-> When you explained Nekroz, that's more understandable, but all in all, it would be better to have archetype that countered them.

Are you serious? At this point, if this godforsaken card were ever released, then Qliphort would just become Exodia Turbo on steroids.
