Igknight Blunderbuss | *7 S:2 Warrior / FIRE / Pendulum / Effect 2600/1000 --------------------- Pendulum Effect: If this card is destroyed and sent to your Extra Deck by the effect of an "Igknight" card: Destroy all "Igknight" cards you control, and if you do, draw 1 card. Either you can lower them to Level 6 (and their stats accordingly); or change one of their Scales to 8. Although, I'm probably leaning on the former. BTW, Igknights are FIRE, not EARTH Why exactly would they need to pendulum summon this? They place it in the scale, pop it with their other scale, search, draw a card, then special summon this for free. Just because a card can't be pendulum summoned does not make it unusable at all. And easy example of such is D/D/D Abyss Ragnorok. Despite being a level 8 (and thus outside of the deck's optimal scales) it is one of the strongest parts of the deck, leading to many power plays. The fact that they are EARTH rather than FIRE actually acts as a heavy balancing factor, because they cannot be searched by the Igknight effects (though Summoner's Art still works D:). These, if released, would instantly be the best cards in the entire main deck, sheerly because they provide advantage off of the plays that Igknights ALREADY DO for consistency. Igknight search chains end when they run out of scales to set, at which point they pendulum summon. This allows them to draw cards as they go through their search chain, acting similarly to a Royal Magical Library that, rather than providing a R4 material, provides a 2600 beater, and potentially material for a r7 monster. They are completely broken, to be perfectly honest, and turn a ridiculous archetype into a completely and utterly broken one. The best way to balance these card would be to change the effect so that you can destroy both Igknights in scale so as to draw 1 card, completely eliminating the self-summon effect while preventing the effects from blatantly plussing. Criticism upon CC can really only be given if the reviewer has knowledge of the original archetype's workings. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
