Archetype Game

Pretty simple. Person says a name for the archetype and the next person explains how they work/their gimmick.

(Enforced starting page 50) NO pigeonholing the next person.  For example, you cannot say: "Must be based on X".  You CAN give background information on the archetype name but the next person can decide whether or not to use that info.

(Enforced starting page 55) 2 Sentence/40 word description minimum.  It should be fairly simple to expound on a gimmick or flesh it out at least a little to give an idea of how it works.

(Enforced starting page 106) Archetypal prompts must have 1 concept card posted along the prompt that demonstrates how it is intended to function.

If the above rules are broken, the mods or I have the ability to reject your next suggested archetype name and post another in its place.

For example:
Summer archetype

(Next poster) an archetype of FIRE Pyro-type monsters that focus on searching and drawing their members from their deck while face-up. All members return to the deck face-up when they would be destroyed. (then they post an Archetype name)

So I'll start this off:

Science archetype

An archetype of EARTH Rock-Type monsters. They have poor ATK and DEF, but focus on easy Special Summons (examples:"When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Reforged Golem" monster from your hand" and "When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 "Reforged Golem" monster with a different name from your Deck.") for stronger Synchro monsters.

DARK Attribute monsters intended to be the evil counterparts to Toon monsters, and have roughly the same properties but focus more on medieval fantasy-esque monsters based around overwhelming the opponent with high ATK stats and banishing effects.

Reapers of the Heavens.

DARK Fairy-Type monsters that focus on cutting down your opponent's resources.

Mecha-Star Dragon

P.S. "Fallen of the Fantasy World" is technically an supposed sub-Archetype for the base one (Fantasy World).

Those of you who remember those two cards in Advanced based after myself and Zextra can probably guess what that is.

But that's irrelevant.

An archetype based around monsters of varying attributes who are simultaneously Machine-Type and Dragon-Type. They focus on using stat-boosting multi-type exclusive Equip Spell cards to overpower and weaken opposing monsters.

A series of Psychic-type and Machine-type monsters. The Psychic monsters have effects of special summoning other machines from the deck or graveyard using the machines on the field or in hand. The machines have powerful defensive and offensive on-summon effects when summoned using the Psychic monsters.

A group of EARTH warriors and beasts who gain stats based on opponent's dragon-types and through their numbers. They have continuous abilities that allows you to Special Summon useless dragon tokens on your opponent's side of the field when certain conditions are met.
