Best Day/Night of your Life thus far

General title I know, but I'd been thinking about this sort of thing recently, and thought it would make an interesting topic. Probably the first of many I post, but hey.

So yeah, essentially the topic is post about the best Day or Night that you have experienced in life thus far. It can be anything, for any reason. But just post a little about it, and if you feel it's relevent a little about why it was so special.

I'll probably post mine in a while, but I have other stuff to do for now. So have at it YCM.

Of the top of my head, the best day of my life (so far) would probably have to be my high school graduation last year.

Reason being that more then once did it seem like I wouldnt be able to graduate due to failing important subjects, and it's something I'm still kinda proud of myself that I managed to fix by biting down and dealing with it aswell as a fairly awfull school administration. It was also the first time it felt like I could truly connect with the rest of my class, since even if we were almost worlds appart (most weren't even from the same town) we had one thing in common that day.

That we all were graduates. That we'd pulled through all those years and all the hard times, and come out on top.

It felt great

It's just a little bit sad but for me it's probably when I went to a regional on my birthday a couple of years ago. I finished 13th and qualified for Euros, pulled a bunch of good stuff and had a generally great time.

I don't find it sad at all. That's the thing, I'm not expecting answers like 'Oh when I went to Kenya and ran with Cheetahs' or things like that. It can be anything, because the things that make it so special are going to be unique to us, to what we value from life. And if that happens to be your love for your hobby then so be it.

I suppose this is a good time to share mine;

It was one evening after College had finished, and we were killing time before the train. Me and my best-friend/ex-girlfriend/girl I'm crazy for were just wandering around town, laughing, and joking, and generally forgetting a lot of the bullshit that had been attached to our lives recently.

And we got to the train station, and we sat down, and she just opened her heart to me, and was the most open with me I'd ever seen her. Like, she trusted me enough to cry on my shoulder just to get it all out and off her chest. And despite the fact some of it was shit that should've sent me spiralling off into a low, it just didn't. Just one night with her in my arms, knowing that she trusted me, that she was willing to be open about it all.... It's kinda hard to explain, but it was ecstatic.

Easily the best night I've ever lived. Despite the fact it was pretty simple, and a bit laughable. But yeah, that's mine. As I said I'd post.

My last birthday was pretty damn metal for several reasons but then everything turned to shit and the entire year was ruined

My 12th birthday was also pretty awsome too, if I remember correctly. It felt like the pinnacle of my childhood.

I can't think of a best day, but I can think of really good days.

One was where I was with my best friend's family in the Swiss Alps and we explored the whole region. Captivating on all levels.

And the river water was genuinely delicious.

Another was my sister's high school graduation party. A lot of good friends and family were there, I got buzzed and just had an entertaining night. And I garnered more laughs than usual, which was cool.

It's pretty mundane, but the day I came home to a PS1 hooked up to the basement TV after getting 100 straight good days in elementary school. After having only played video games at Daycare a couple years earlier, knowing we own our first console was pretty fucking exciting.
