Yugioh for the PS4 and Xbox One

I'm sure most of you found this out already but for those who have not, let me just say that in some cases, Konami does listen to fans. Case in point:

It looks like Legacy of the Duelist is going to shape up to be the best Yu-gi-oh game ever with all the features it's got. Seriously, read the article, then provide feedback.

I'm glad to hear feedback. Anyway, there are three things I want from this game myself:

1. Because there is a story mode I want ti to go the way of Capsule Monster Coliseum for the PS2: with the exception of the late Maddie Blaustein, bless her soul, I want this to be a reunion of every single Yu-gi-oh English VA from old school to current.

2. The last game did not have flashy automatic win event effects, like Summoning Exodia, or completing FINAL, or Final Countdown. Make. That. Happen.

3. An option to turn off the ban list for Story mode and against AI.

Other than that, with over 6,600 cards to choose from, This will probably be the best Yu-Gi-Oh game ever. Now if only konami and Warner Bros. can collaberate, after all I would like to see the Tiny Toon Adventures games for the NES and Super NES on Virtual Console. Anyway, 3-d monsters are back. See what I said when Konami listens to their fans?

this sounds like it will either be the greatest yu-gi-oh console game of all time, or a disappointing dlc based cashgrab.

as long as at least 70% of the day-one DLC can be obtained through normal gameplay, i'm going to have to go the arcsys route and avoid it till the hype dies down. the game itself sounds awesome, but the promise of day one DLC has the opposite effect on me when attempting to hype.

as for the game description itself, if they try hard on it (cinematics, actual animation for the monsters and field spells, ect) that would be amazing.

my main desire though is that i want konami to make a DuelTerminal videogame, where you actually play through the actions of the duel terminal storyline. that alone would make me want to buy a game from the yugioh franchise.

I personally loved the ps2 games. Millennium Duels was fun but the micro transactions and the constant grinding for cards I don't even HAVE yet stopped me from playing it. Let's hope its more like Duel Transfer in the form of earned money in game.

You mean Duel Transer?

Oh yeah, here's another thing I ewant from the game: No Banlist. I mean in the duel of Yugi vs. Pegasus he uses Thousand-Eyes Restrict. How can this game even incorporate that?

Yeah I meant Duel Transer but my damn tablet has this stupid thing where it like to correct sheet on its own. And as for the no ban list, I'd personally also like to see that as this game has a story mode in which the main characters in the original used a bunch of banned cards (ex. Pot of greed).

Indeed. The developers should just let us battle with whatever cards we want. Banlist = killjoy.

I kinda want to see what all monsters look like, and it has been a while since we saw 3-d monsters. I think the last time was in Tag Force 6. And those were monster cinematics.

Spells and traps don't count but tokens might. Besides:

And

2.jpgI have a feeling this will be awesome. I just hope the library allows us to view these 3-d monsters.

And come on, be grateful. Forbidden memories gave us the anime Dark Magician, and what did the PS2, Xbox and Game cube give us, the green skinned blonde haired one. Isn't it nice to see the Anime Dark Magician in ps4 3-d graphics?

Cool! I wonder if they've rendered Odd-Eyes yet?

If the anime is anything to go by... Yes. most boss monsters that appear in the anime are already rendered in 3D, so transporting them as an OBJ into another project/ program would be the simplest way to save time on at least the boss monsters.

do you think they'll release some kind of exclusive card in the game?

Y'know, guys, I was really hoping we'd get another game like Duelists of the Roses or The Falsebound Kingdom-

...are those 3D models...?

AND IS THAT JINZO JOEY IS USING?!

And the guy that's facing him. Oh my God. They're using Amazoness Fighter. <3

Also, I saw that Goroawase number, Konami. 573=Ko Na Mi.

...I might consider getting a PS4 just for this.

Sure, the game is buckets of service tailored for the fans, but Jesus H. Christ is it ever fanservice that I'm hyped for.

Yes they are, and I never noticed it, but the mat looks better than ever.

That mat looks gorgeous. Sure, the models are early PS3 quality, but I'm just glad they're bringing back 3D models at all.

Do you think they'll do what Duelists of the Roses, The Sacred Cards, etc. did and add in OCG exclusive cards for the international release?

I just want to see Giant Mech-Soldier, Serpent Night Dragon, Seiyaryu, and Mikazukinoyaiba and such in full 3D for a next-gen console. <3

I'm hyped as funk guys.

Sure would. Though the layouts are unique. I mean the fact they use terminals is cool, but aside from monsters I would like to see what they did for Dawn of Destiny: 3d backgrounds of field spelld. Shall we make a petition for Konami to add a Library feature for this game?
