Every time you Summon a monster from the Extra Deck using a "Luxuriant" monster you control: Gain 100 Life Points for every "Lixuriant" card in your Graveyard, then, if you gained 1000 or more Life Points by this effect, draw 1 card.

[spoiler=Luxuriant Field]eOwYALC.jpg

[spoiler=Effect]Every time a card is Summoned: Place 1 Luxuriant Counter on this card. You can pay Life Points; Special Summon 1 "Luxuriant" monster from your Graveyard whose ATK is exactly 100 less than the amount of Life Points you payed. You can only activate this effect of "Luxuriant Field" once per turn. Apply these continuous effects based upon how many Luxuriant Counters this card has.

-5 or more: Neither player can activate effects that would destroy cards on the field.
-10 or more: Gain 500 Life Points during each End Phase for every effect activated that turn.

No searcher of their own, but they can spam themselves pretty quickly if you go Summon Extractor, send Necron, Summon Commander, Extractor, send Defender, Summon anything, Necron effect bounce Extractor, Commander for Defender, Synchro Isomorph, Defender effect to resummon Defender and Necron, Steradian with Commander and whatever else you Summoned, Steradian effect twice, Commander adds a card, Isomorph, resummon, Isomorph, resummon Defender, Homomorph into resummoning Steradian X3, 2 Isomorphs for Laplace, last Isomporh effect, get 2 monsters, go for a rank 4.

8000 (starting)-1000 (Extractor)-1000 (Extractor)-1000 (Necron)-1000 (Commander)-1000 (Defender)+1700 (Steradian)+1100 (Steradian)-500 (commander)-1000 (Defender)-1000 (Defender)+1800 (Commander)+3000 (Necron)+3200  (Extractor)+5300 (Defender)=16600 Life Points, assuming you Summoned Mercenary as that extra card. You can pop up to 2 monsters, as well, with Mercenary before he leaves, and if you do it once, 16600+2600 (Mercenary)+250 (Extractor)=19450, and doing it twice means, 19700+1000 (mercenary)+250 (Extractor)=19950.

Originally, the total was going to be 32400-51400, and being an old Life Point Psychic player, that sounded about right to me, as I could get +45000 off of one turn, but it was pretty situational to actually get 45000 and was more like a consistent 15000. So, I reduced the numbers significantly since you only have to open with Extractor + Commander + monster to do the above combo, and the combo was me semi-trying to get as many Life Points as possible, rather than trying to get the most effective field, although that would still be a pretty scary field, so and I probably missed some stuff for the most optimal LP gaining. I didn't include a second Steradian shenanigans thing because I did actually end it on an "end the turn" move, rather than going for even more LP, so more could have been gained.

If you DO go for the double pop, you get down to 1000 LP, and if not/can't, 3000. If they stop you from gaining LP by stopping your Steradian play by Solemn or something, you're stuck with going for 2 Xyz or another Isomorph and ending your turn there, leaving you at a "depressingly small" 13350 LP if you go double Isomorph > Laplace/Stieltjes. And that's IF you got to double pop monsters. If not, you're looking at 8450. If they Veiler Steradian, you do get a little bit more, but it's 8:06 AM and I didn't sleep at all last night, so I'm too sleepy to continue doing these simple calculations.

Of course, all that's if I kept track of everything in my head correctly.

I think one of the main issues i see in some recent card designers is the huge amount of effects put into few cards. You dont need to overstrenght your cards for them to become meta.

Combatant is just one stupid card that can be abused pretty easily. The lack of a Once per turn clause and the minor damage you take(if compared to Tricklown's damage, one of the main Splashable level 4s we have) really dont make it look like a realistic card.

Commander is on the samr boat. How about a combo where u summon another Commander with its eff, which also summons another thing. Then you use everything to make something big (a bunch of Level 4s sure can make devastating plays). Then you get the Life Points gain and also some adds from the grave. This is beyond opness.

I would like to review some othrr cards, but for now id like to just say this, be careful with the amount of plusses one single card can generate. These ones are extremely good at spamming, they could easily surpass any existing Rank 4 engine with less efort. So cut effects, add restrictions, dont forget to make some of them 'Once per turn' effects(Combatant's float eff for example), rewrite stats, think about possible unfair combos. These tips may help to improve anyone's card design skills. Remember, the game must be fun for both sides.
