Oh, because if nekroz wasnt powerful enough already, lets just put it 5 miles more ahead of everything else. Smart hit in theory, but personally, i dont think this is the right time.

Hope those hits arent turning out to be real. Everything else seems legit tho.

Yeah I'm taking that with a pound of salt. Be interesting if it's real though, it really has slammed BA and Nekroz to the point where they basically can't function, and I don't think much of Tellars with 2 Altair either.

Each piece of the meta (baring Qlis) has been slammed down hard, and to top it off, it's a big slam in the face when Mistake and Mind Crush, the key pieces into moderating the format, is now toned down. But for Nekroz, @1 Unicore and even a Valkyrus is just destroying it completely to the point it's probably Inzektor or Wind-Up level #rektbybanlist.

 

And if Fenix is really rumored to be banned, can I has my Divine Winds and Birdmen back? The Rogues will definitely appreciate it.

Huh, isn't 2 Altair won't change much for tellars?

 

Considering how frequently they use all 3 Altair it basically means they rely even more heavily on Call and Oasis otherwise stopping the 2 big synchro plays will basically make them lose by default.

So...Infernoids anyone? Assuming this list is in effect, they have access to 2 Gate, 3 Charge, and 3 Reasoning (which offsets them not having the third Gate unlike in OCG). And without HEROes around unlike in OCG and Djinn being dead in the water without Lavalval, they look pretty promising.

I haven't noticed the 2 Gate actually. I had a feeling they could have a chance when most of the metagame has been raptured but with x3 Charge and x2 Gate, that is a major boon boost to make their swarms more consistent. I have a good feeling for that if this is all true at least, that Noids would have a chance in TCG, despite being like Cyber Stein or Card Dest being out.

I approve everything except the banning of Lavalval Chain. I'm really pissed cause they really should have just banned the Djinn, same with them banning Library, but good for them to ban Explosion and Fenix. Semi Limit Monster Gate should be fun, same with 2 Tour Guide (Thanks Konami for hitting Graff and Cir). Honest and Brigade at 3 tho is way too scary for me.

 

I'm gonna be honest tho and as much as I like the majority of the list, I hope it isn't true, not cause of the hits themselves. The thing is, if this list is true, it means almost every meta deck will be flat out dead at Worlds because it does combine TCG and OCG banlist (So 1 Valk and every OCG Hit to Nekroz, no Construct, 1 Cir and 1 Graff, 2 Altair, all the Qlip hits + 1 Skill Drain), so some other random Deck will top and have to sacrifice because they won Worlds like Infernity last year. I tend to think this is a bad idea

I just don't like it when players jabroni about a card like Lavalval Chain that enables even more bonkers cards like Djinn and then Djinn gets to hang around as a problem all over again. If there was another reason for Chain to get banned, I would say yes, but really I just don't see the justice. You kill several Decks to save face for 1? I mean I will be honest Lavalval Chain shouldn't be at multiples, but banned? I don't think so

First off, there is another reason. 2, to be exact.

 

First off, it's always been too good at what it does. R4 has only been compltely irrelevant for, like, 1 format between Chain's release and now. At release, it was dumb, but it only got dumbr as tim went on.

 

Aside from that, this was also a pre-emptive hit. Clownblade needed Lavalval Chain to work. Without it, you have no consistent way to find Clown AND Blades without using up multiple normal summons to do so OR running poor discard outlets/engines. In the TCG, this deck would have the full Star Seraph engine (Stick is funking broken) and Norden after that, which is a terror all-in-all when you pair it with this list. With the other hits on the list, it would make sense to purge Lavalval Chain, as it's the one true preemptive hit to the deck that's full of mostly new cards.

 

If a deck needed a loop encourager like Lavalval Chain to live, it doesn't deserve to live. Hell, I adore playing Clownblade-S, and no Lavalval kills that deck, but I won't complain.

 

If it's real, hitting Chain was a very smart move.

But in that sense Stick should have taken the blow then. Again, Chain at multiples shouldn't be a thing, but it doesn't need a ban faster than the rest of the cards that it follows through with. I agree that it kinda is a decent move, but I tend to be less Pro Meta in my view of things, and I feel thin ice like letting Releaser exist and Stick be at 3 with Noden just is a face palming experience

 

Btw, one of the main reasons I made that rant was because I saw some complaints on stuff like ARG where people wanted Lavalval Chain because "It sends the Djinn", as if the Djinn is fine. It makes me feel like Konami listened to them
