He said I’ve been far too scattered with my thoughts lately, and I think I agree with him… I guess since I’m being relocated, I have to be more organized. There’s this city that apparently has a real crime problem, and a real lack of defense attorneys. I apparently already have a case lined up for me, I don’t know how he expects me to prepare, considering I’ll only have a day to meet with the client and get some information about the case. He mentioned my new superior is a bit tough to work with as well, which really scares me. Part of what made my job simple was my relationship with him, hopefully I’ll be able to keep the new woman on my side. I was warned that the… Citizens were odd. I’m not too concerned about it, considering that I already dealt with plenty of odd people. I think I can handle a few more weirdos. It’s going to be tough. Apparently they have an apartment set up for me already, but I have to adjust to a new life entirely. I’m going to miss Trucy and Phoenix, but I have to go where I’m needed! Not-so-Radiant Arin Posted July 31, 2015 Report Share Posted July 31, 2015 I read "birdie teases" and I became very very disappointed with some things upon actually entering this thread. :( But it's good so far. Kind of reminds me a bit about Lovecraft, especially with the "weirdos" part. Actually, the entire thing reminds me of "Call of Cthulu", even though the premise is entirely different. But the entire Apollo Justice franchise needs a sex scandal, drug trafficking, gun fight that ends up killing 100 people. It's not so much focused on the crime world, but I do plan to have... Things such as that. It'll have more of a lean towards Ace Attorney style crimes, for sure, which I think is fitting for the way I plan to have the city work.
