"Fallen" Archetype (13/13)

I consider these a sort of "dark reflection" of the Lightsworns. They work in much the same way, with one key difference: You mill from the bottom of your deck, not the top, which could be both a blessing and a curse if not for some of their back row (such as "The Fallen Road").

 

They work in a similar way to certain counterparts: Samiga to Lumina, Asmodus to Raiden, Infernus to Celestia, etc, with some key differences based on thematic elements (such as cards Banishing your opponent's cards instead of destroying them) or in an attempt to make them less "broken" than the counterpart (like the "Once per turn" restriction on Fallen Dragon). The end goal of the archetype is the same as Lightsworns-- bring out the boss monster. Phomet can either bounce cards to your opponent's deck to disrupt the field, and Fallen Dragon trades repeatability for durability with his effect. Minos prevents other players from grabbing him from your graveyard with his effect, and Lillis and Asmodus improve upon the template that Lyla and Raiden created.

When you Tribute Summon this card by Tributing a "Fallen" monster you control: You can send the bottom 3 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard, and if you do, banish 1 card on the field.

"Fallen Dragon"

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by having 4 or more "Fallen" monsters with different names in your Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Once per turn: You can pay 1000 Life Points, and if you do, this card can make a second attack this turn, also this card cannot attack your opponent directly.

Once per turn: You can pay 1000 Life Points, then target 1 card on the field; return that target to the owner's Deck. When this card leaves the field: You can target any number of other "Fallen" monsters in your Graveyard; shuffle them into the Deck, and if you do, you gain 300 Life Points for each returned card. During each of your End Phases: Send the bottom 3 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard.

"Dis, City of the Fallen"

Field Spell

Each time a card is sent from your Deck to the Graveyard, place 1 "Dis Counter" on this card. All "Fallen" monsters you control gain 100 ATK and 100 DEF for each "Dis Counter" on this card. If this card would be destroyed, you can instead remove 2 "Dis Counters" from this card.

"The Fallen Path"

Continuous Spell

During your Standby Phase: You can select up to 2 "Fallen" monsters in your Graveyard; place them on the bottom of your Deck in any order. If you control a monster that isn't a "Fallen" monster, destroy this card. If this card is Sent from the Deck to the Graveyard: target 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field; destroy it.

"Tower of the Fallen"

Quick-Play Spell

Target 1 "Fallen" monster you control: this turn it is unaffected by your opponent's card effects. While this card is in your Graveyard: If a "Fallen" monster you control would be destroyed, by battle or by card effect, you can banish this card instead.

"A Duel to the Death"

Normal Trap

When your opponent's monster declares an attack while you control an Attack Position monster(s): the Original ATK of both monsters becomes equal to the Original ATK of your opponent's monster; also, monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle this turn.

"Temptation of Darkness"

Normal Trap

Discard your entire hand, then for each card you discarded to the Graveyard by this effect, add 1 DARK monster from your Graveyard to your hand.

 

 

 

 

Thank you in advance for your comments, just trying to bring mill decks some love and attention. (Also, couldn't get spoilers to work properly, and I know that this is all a bit much without them, so any help on that front would be appreciated. Thanks!)

Fallen dragon uses 1000 LP for 3300 damage, this is certainly too powerful, and the second effect is a bit useless considering there isn't a single card left on the field...try to fix this by weakening the attack

What's interesting is that these cards can crush your own deck in a matter of time, a self-destruct? very unique.
