Photon-Star archtype, extends "Photon" archtype

Just like how all XX-Saber cards are also X-Saber cards, all "Photon-Star" cards are also "Photon" cards

 

 

If this card is Normal Summoned: You can add 1 "Photon" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Photon-Star Commander". During either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated that targets a "Photon" monster you control (except during the Damage Step): You can banish this card from your Graveyard; negate that effect.

 

 

When you Normal Summon a "Photon" monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. Once per turn: you can discard 1 "Photon" monster, then target 1 card your opponent controls: destroy that target and if you do, inflict 500 damage to your opponent. If this card is sent to the graveyard: you can add 1 "Photon-Star" monster from your deck to your hand except "Photon-Star Sorceress". You can only use this effect of "Photon-Star Sorceress" once per turn.

 

 

If this card is normal summoned while there is a "Photon-Star" monster in your graveyard or banished zone other than "Photon-Star Angel": you can banish this card and 1 "Photon" monster from your graveyard; special summon 1 synchro monster from your extra deck whose level equals the total levels of those banished monsters. Shuffle it into the extra deck during your 2nd Standby Phase after its summon and if you do, draw 1 card. If this card is special summoned while you control fewer cards then your opponent does: you can draw 1 card. You can only use this effect of "Photon-Star Angel" once per turn.

 

Rulings Note:

The synchro monster summoned by Photon-Star Angel is not considered synchro summoned, thus it can't be revived later by call of the haunted. Also, its effects that activate when its synchro summoned cannot be activated. (This applies to monsters like Black Rose Dragon and Trishula, dragon of the ice barrier).

 

 

If there is a "Photon-Star" monster in your graveyard or banished zone: Target 2 "Photon" monsters in your Graveyard; Special Summon both those targets. Immediately after this card resolves, Xyz Summon 1 Xyz Monster using those 2 monsters only.
