I am currently in the process of learning the ways of GFX. I try to spend my free time practicing making signatures and what not. You all should know that I use GIMP, though if and whenever I get a better computer, I'll consider getting PS. Well without further adieu, here is the newest signature I have made:

Feel free to give as much advice as you can ^-^ Constructive criticism is much appreciated.

Main two things here I notice are flow and colors. You got quite a few effects going on, mostly c4ds, and while those tend to lean in one direction (mostly bottom left to top right), your render's sword goes in the opposite direction, giving that sort of crowded feeling. Not saying flipping the render will fix it, but I think you'll get a better sense of how the flow can pull everything together.

Regarding colors, I think some vibrancy would look good. With heavy c4d usage, I notice a lot of people tend to stick with a monotone color scheme, and it's often very lowly saturated (purples, yellows, browns, blues, mainly). You can always mix things up by changing the hues on your effects and/or playing with the layer modes. Gradients maps have literally endless possibilities as well, so incorporating those is always an option if you're looking at adding color.

KIU though, glad to see new faces around here (or any faces at all lol).

I see, flow is an important aspect that I am trying to grasp ^-^ I had initially added a gradient map, is it not noticeable? o.O

Thank you, though.. I am glad to be here cx

With the c4d in front, the bg w/the Duskull seems a little flat. Perhaps add a layer of c4ds behind Duskull to sort of get a feel for the depth. I really like the splatters going on, but that's often hard to incorporate with effect c4ds. And as with the first one, try and branch out a bit with colors. I don't think gradient maps would help too much in this situation, perhaps just along the way sort of keep things distinctly different colors so you have the opportunity to mess around with them later.

Try to put some more colours in. Try going with complimentary colours and expand from there. (Look up a colour wheel if need be). Right now they're very monotonous. Colour woulf improve both pieces drastically. Basics are what you need to practice (hell i still need to practice basics). Do that and you'll get a lot better in no time.

lol I don't blame you, no one likes revisiting the stuff they finished, or at least I barely do haha.

Exactly, it's more like I'm proud of what I've experimented with, and I feel satisfied learning from the mess ups I've made with the piece. Maybe in the future when I've become a bit more experienced, I'll do a recreation of the sort of my older works.

I appreciate it x'D IMO, I think the use of more color and monotone is up to the piece itself, or whatever is more appealing to the audience's eye. I do intend to practice a lot, and I know for sure that I may end up taking some graphic design classes in college ^-^ which I am looking forward to.
