Hello Again All! I Am Pleased to Announce That I am completely finished with all Non-Boss Abyssal Monsters! I Am currently Beginning to Work on Extra Deck Monsters. so far I have 4 done and a LOT more to come. Let me say a bit about this deck. I Designed it with Control, Swarm, and Synergy in mind. I wanted the Abyssal Deck to Emulate the Enemy ships from Kancolle, To be able to Overwhelm the opponent with numbers and strength. And so that's the mentality I put in when i made these cards. the deck works around a Modified LV system, with every Abyssal able to summon another, Usually 2 levels higher than it or a lower level than it is. I tried to give each card a Unique effect. The Extra Deck will Include both Synchros and XYZs, but no Fusions. I hope you guys enjoy them, and Feel free to review and tell me what I can Improve.

Did somebody say Abyssal Fleet-チ?

Hello there mortals [|_^]/ Chi-Class here-チ.  I hijacked Yui's account when he told me about this thread, and I'm here to see what the land people think of us as playing cards-チ~

The first thing that stands out to me is that a lot of these monsters use discarding from the hand as a cost for their effects to activate-チ.  Without any way to regain the hand advantage we'll guzzle up like this, three copies of Salvage would be a necessity in this deck just to avoid running out of discard fodder-チ.  That doesn't make sense to me [|_=] we get our resources from all the ships we sink, so why would a deck representing us run out of resources this quickly-チ?

Another thing I noticed was that each Abyssal can search different ones-チ.  For example, Ha-Class can search Ricchi, and Ricchi can search me-チ.  Was this intentional-チ?  And while I'm asking questions, why are we Fiend-Type and not Machine-Type-チ?  We're still ships just the same as those Imperial Fleet scrap piles, so this confuses me-チ.

Now then, I'll take a look at each class at a time and talk about them below-チ.

Ha-Class: Ha seems to only be useful for Synchro Summoning with a monster in the hand, and nothing else-チ.  At Level 6 and up, it has the ability to change its Level, which can be useful-チ.  However, it's borderline-useless since if you try to search one Ha with another Ha, you won't be able to Synchro Summon that turn-チ.  The only one worth caring about here is the Level 6.

I-Class: I like that this one can Special Summon from the hand as well as the Deck-チ!  It also works similarly to Zombie Master, and can really speed up Synchro plays or even Xyz plays if you can keep up some hand advantage-チ.  Level 6 isn't anything to boast about, but Levels 8 and 10 are very good and can become very potent nukes very easily-チ.  This is my kind of card-チ!

Ni-Class: A searcher that doesn't need to be on the field during the Standby Phase is nice-チ.  However, even at Level 7, this is still a -1 at least for that search, and unless you already have some advantage going, it can be very risky to use Ni even in the best of circumstances-チ.  I think this is a traitor ship, since it likes destroying the rest of us so much-チ!  If it wasn't for that, this would be something to brag about-チ.

Ro-Class: Ro seems to like the Battle Phase best-チ.  Turning high-ATK Abyssals with nuking powers into high-ATK Abyssals with nuking powers that can attack twice per turn is always a good thing in my book, and Ro-Class excels in that-チ.  At Level 10, it can also cause a huge amount of burn damage late-game to take the win out of nowhere-チ.  However, it has the same discarding problem as so many other Abyssals, which wouldn't be a problem if there weren't so many of them-チ.

Ricchi (Ri-Class): Only the one card-チ?  Well, she's not a bad one at least-チ.  A nice and simple ATK boost for all the other Abyssals-チ.  Having two copies of Ricchi and using them both would boost our ATK levels to pretty lofty numbers-チ.  It's almost as cool as the real Ricchi-チ!

He-Class: A DEF gain during your turn only seems kind of pointless-チ.  Casting that aside, this is another tuner, which is good since we don't want to rely entirely on Ha-Class, and has the added bonus of giving the Synchro Summoned monster...more DEF-チ.  Is it because He-Class is fat-チ?  Oh, right, and Level 9 has that bounce effect-チ!  That's actually really powerful...maybe a bit too much so-チ.

Ho-Class: This one's kinda neat actually-チ.  It Special Summons itself from the hand, then Tributes itself to search an Abyssal from the Deck to the hand-チ.  The search effect on this one is very nice, but its battle destruction immunity is kind of pointless if it just flips itself face-down at the End Phase-チ.  Level 6 is the best one by far since it gives you a Special Summon from the deck while getting rid of an opponent's monster-チ.

To-Class: Just a nuke with high ATK-チ.  Very simple, but so my kind of thing-チ.

Tsu-Class: Level 6 isn't anything to brag about, since while it can come back from the Graveyard (I'm so jealous-チ!), its destruction effect kind of sucks-チ.  It takes too long and gives your opponent plenty of time to do something else with it, like make a Synchro, Xyz, or Fusion-チ.  Level 8 on the other hand...this is OTK central-チ!  It destroys all your opponent's monsters during the end of their turn, so they'll be wide open on your turn-チ.  Honestly, this one might need a nerf-チ.

And saving the best for last, me: My mechanic of flipping face-down to destroy stuff reminds me of Ghostricks-チ.  Did you know that's my favorite deck-チ?  They're so cute-チ!  Uhh, I'm getting off-topic...as I was saying, I especially like that at Level 10, I destroy all the opponent's face-down cards-チ!  Mirror Force, Bottomless, any of the Solemn cards, and so many more annoyances, gone in the blink of an eye-チ!  And with 3000 DEF at Level 10, the opponent will need a big beater or some kind of removal effect to even hope to stop me-チ!  Although, I can't destroy face-downs and then tag out for somebody else next turn, since I'll be face-down during the Standby Phase-チ.

Overall, I gotta say, you did a very good job for a human-チ.  Keep us updated and let me know if you need any heaolugykjqjhfxd

Sorry about that.  Yeah, these are pretty neat.  Desperately in need of ways to keep their hand advantage going, but otherwise totally something I'd run.

Hey! Thanks for the review. I'll get right into the Question-Answering now. Ok. Yes, the Searches were intentional. I wanted this deck to be able to do things like what you mentioned, jump from one abyssal to the next dependent on the level of that monster. I think the fact that it only can be achieved during the standby phase balances it out. As for the fleet being fiend-types, that was a tough choice but I felt it was necessary. You guys were either gonna be Dark Machines or Water Fiends. My reasoning is that Abyssals have a monstrous, fiendish look to them but they reside in water. It also gives them synergy with cards like the Gates Of Dark World and other cards that benefit fiends. And I know there is only one Ri Class so far, worry not, I plan to do the entire Fleet, All Forms, and Bosses Included. ;) I'm really glad you like them and I will be Errataing some of the Cruddy Effects and Some of the OP ones, too. The Only thing I really would need any help with Is Picture backgrounds, Because the pictures are kinda low-Quality. I really enjoyed the idea of having an entire deck Based around the LV Monster style. And worry not! This deck is only in its very infancy, I'm posting them so everyone can get and idea of things to come! When it's completed, I hope to see if someone can code the deck so I can playtest it on YGOPRO. Thanks soooo much for the feedback, More cards to come later. (By later I mean whenever I can get to a desktop computer :( ) The resource issue is quite prevalent, I noticed that now. If I don't errata any of the cards to make them more....."recyclable" I'll probably add ways to make the issue less pressing via later card releases and Spell/Trap Support.

Alright, I know nothing about Abyssal Fleet, but I'll see what I can say.

The spammyness is real, which is becoming a common thing in decks these days. I like the LVLesque mechanic, but, as Yui said, hand advantage is little. Yes, you can bring these guys out, but you're not going to be able to keep them there early game, so you'll need to have a hand to protect them.
