Group chat for something with so many different threads/quests/etc seems ill-advised and clunky.

Anywho might make some characters for this but would have to wait until I decide to fully return.

Most of the time it's general vaguely relevant chat anyway.

I shall await your return.

[spoiler=Tegur]

Name: Tegur Steelskull, The Drunken Minotaur
Age: 42
Sex: Male
[spoiler=Appearance]6PDRx2b.jpg?1

Wears a kilt.

Standing at 7 feet and weighing 300 pounds, Tegur isn't as large as most Minotaur, due to mixed blood, but he still towers over humans.

Has a "beer belly" but is actually still quite muscular.

[spoiler=Personality]Tegur has a large presence. Both physically and personality. He is boisterous, and almost manically friendly. He seems to try hard to be a happy and fun-loving kind of guy. However the more he drinks the more you start to notice something isn't...quite right. He is actually quite solemn, introspective, and wise in many ways. However he more often than not makes a total fool of himself. He's torn between wanting to just forget everything and drink, and give advice to the younger guild members. So he settles for being “everyone's favorite uncle." As in, joke cracking, generous, and always willing to give the strongest hugs in the world. That isn't to say he doesn't get angry. Be it part of the drinking, his Minotaur blood, or his past, but Tegur has a bit of a hair trigger. When you do something to offend him, or he thinks you're being an ass to another person, he can explode in rage within moments. He never apologizes for these outbursts, but he does seem to get even more introspective than usual. This passes every time, but whenever he goes back to friendly for a time you can see an even more manic gleam in his eyes.

Can often be called "strange" as he occasionally falls into the drink so far that he begins to ramble what most believe to be nonsense, but he insists makes total sense. Some of it is actually true, but most of it is the ramblings of a drunkard.

Tegur is very hard on himself, and truly doesn't believe he can make up for his past sins. What sins these are, he refuses to say.

[spoiler=Biography]Tegur was once a famed sailor and pirate. Child of a warlord and a noble lady, who had taken to piracy when he saw the plight of the poor. A man who sailed every body of water there was, who traveled the world thrice over, who fought corruption and earned riches.
At least, that’s what he’ll tell you if he ever gets the chance. His true origins are much less glamorous, and much less just. His father was a strange breed. Half Satyr, half Imp. And his mother was a pure-blood Minotaur. Tegur was raised with surprising amounts of love and care for such stereotypically violent and/or bestial races.
However he still hated them. He saw them as weak, bleeding hearts who answered every call to defend even weaker people, at the expense of often leaving Tegur alone. He hated them even more in that they expected the same from him when he grew up. At a young age Tegur left home, and joined a dark guild. He was welcomed heartily, as Minotaur were not very common. And he was a great shot on top of his natural strength. He quickly made a name for himself within the guild. Carrying out any quest no matter how immoral, Tegur at first relished in this betrayal of his parent’s wishes. He had thrown away his name at that point, being called “Bullseye" because no one said evil was creative.
And then the day came where a pair of famed mercenaries of justice tracked him down, after hearing of the dangerous and thuggish assassin that had been terrorizing the land.
It was his parents. When they realized who it was they were after, they tried to convince him to give up on this, that he still could turn back. But Tegur had been steeped in bloodlust and anger at his parents that the dark guild had nurtured over the years.
He killed his parents.
His actions were praised, celebrations happened in the guild for several days. For the next week Tegur was riding high.
Then the implications of his actions began to sink in. It took a month for him to even realize, but things were changing. The quests he took on didn’t give him the thrill they once did, something felt wrong. Slowly he began to feel remorse. And it terrified him. He broke down one night, finally realizing fully what he had done, what he had been doing. He mentally broke for a few days. He refused to take on quests, hid away from the others, and took up prayer in the hopes for repentance.
The last words of his mother echoed in his ears over and over. “I’m sorry." She was apologizing, as though it were her fault her son murdered her, murdered dozens, maybe hundreds, of others.
Tegur was sick, sick of this life, sick of himself. He left the guild. Not an easy task, for a dark guild. But he managed to get free. And he started to drink, and drink, and drink some more.
He came to Cherry Heart, as it was a guild he remembered his parents praising in stories "the legendary guild" when he was younger, and decided to try to do some good with his life. Though he was unable to break the drinking habit.

[spoiler=Abilities]Minotaur Strength: While not as strong as a full-blooded Minotaur, Tegur still has immense physical strength compared to humans. However he doesn’t actually use this as much as you’d think.
Markmanship: Tegur has amazing skill with ranged weaponry, and prefers this over any other kind of combat.
Holy Cow That Crossbow: Tegur is adapt at using his custom, and massive, crossbow. It can hold a dozen bolts without reloading, and is more than twice the size of a normal crossbow. Some call it a mini-balistae.
Flute Magic: Unique to him, Tegur had learned something of musical magic from his grandfather. Though he only recently began to put it to use. With his flute he can create various emotion-affecting effects. From lulling a beast to calmness, to enraging it, to...other things. The problem with this magic is it’s mostly random what will occur. The more monsters he attempts to use it on the less effective it gets. The most possible so far is three, and even that is tricky.

[spoiler=Misc][spoiler=Pseudo Theme]

[spoiler=True Theme]

-The flute he carries is an artifact from his grandfather, a Satyr. He had left it behind when he left home but found it among his things years after he left the guild. With a note that said "Hope it treats you as well as it did me". Tegur found this strange, given his grandfather died before he left home. He treasures this flute.

-Tegur has a horse that he treats very very well. He claims it can talk, but no one but him has heard it. His name is Jeeves.

[spoiler=Kasayee]

Name: Kasayee, The Lazy Lizard Druid

Age: 24

Sex: Female

[spoiler=Appearance]ohWDyo5.jpg

5'2" 110 pounds

Does wear clothing. But not all the time. And more of her body is scaled than on the image. At least 1/4 of it is covered in scales. The branch horns do not exist either. Though her magic can sprout them. And her fingernails are sharper than normal.

[spoiler=Personality] Kasayee is an odd girl, to most humans. She’s incredibly lazy, and doesn’t like to do work unless needed, yet she finds herself spurred to action to prevent acts that would harm others. She desires a world where everyone is peaceful and everyone can live a life of relaxation.
She knows she needs to work to achieve this, but she more often than not just lazes around and dreams of the world she desires.
She doesn’t seem to understand why all people don’t take life as easy as she does. Has a great understanding of the natural world, and knows that bad things happen, and that’s okay. She is the least judgmental person you’ll meet, and seems to give the same regard for human and animal life alike. That being said she’s fine with eating animals, because it’s just the natural state of the world. However she tends to only eat just what she needs to survive.
Doesn’t have much regard for laws created by people, only the “true law" of nature. She lives her life ignoring rules and laws when possible, but she does understand she could be punished for this, so she avoids it when needed.
Can be surprisingly fierce when provoked, and has an even sharper tongue than claws. She doesn’t have a filter and so she’ll often say whatever is on her mind. When enraged this is often venomous and potentially hurtful things. And when doing so she’s unapologetic, unless it’s someone she cares about. Which are few in numbers.
Protective of the young, as she views them as something that must be nurtured so they can grow and continue the cycle, Kasayee can be described as motherly. Though this isn’t entirely accurate. She doesn’t coddle, though she isn’t as fierce towards children as others. Still, she doesn’t quite understand how to talk to children and can sometimes come off as frightening.
Due to her Druidic nature, Kasayee has much insight onto the workings of the world, and occasionally seems to zone off as though conferring with others on certain matters.
Tends to rely on instinct to decide things for her, believing that there is a reason she feels certain pulls and is drawn to certain decisions without any rhyme or reason.

[spoiler=Biography]Kasayee was born into the Druidic Order. While her mother was pregnant, as all of her race do, she spoke to her village's shaman to get them to do a reading for her. And it was determined that the child would become a fulcrum for the ancient spirits, and should be raised as a Druid. Her mother was somewhat sad to let this happen, however understood that it was for the best. Spirits were honored beings, but all knew they could become dangerous if abused by those who held a connection with them.
So Kasayee was raised by the Druids, and taught how to use her abilities. Sadly, Kasayee turned out to be not the greatest student, and seemed to be uninterested in learning. This was due, in part, to the fact that she was able to commune with the spirits all of her life. So she didn't feel any need to really learn about it from anyone but the spirits themselves. Despite this the Druids came to love the child, as she was a bright and friendly girl.
The Druids continued to teach her what they could, however eventually they came to realize that Kasayee was a strange case. That she had to go out into the world and discover the truths of it on her own. And so they let her go, with advice and fond farewells.
Kasayee knew she would miss them, but also knew that they were always connected, through the world itself, so she needn't worry. She set out to discover more about the world, and just relax whenever she could. She firmly believed the answers would all come to her if she waited long enough. When she learned of Cherry Heart, her interest was piqued. What kind of group was this? What changes would it wrought upon the world? She felted an urge to join them, almost an instinctive pull towards the guild. And she couldn't very well refuse her own instincts.

Unbeknownst to Kasayee there were forces that would be after her. Those wishing to capture her for the rarity of her species, and those who wished to use the spirits for their own desires.

[spoiler=Abilities]Shapeshifting: Kasayee has learned the Druidic art of shapeshifting, and can use it in many different ways. In all but her Tree Form and partial Lizard Form a strong hit can shatter the shapeshifting, and she cannot hold onto shapeshifting indefinitely.
-Tree Form. Kasayee can change her skin to bark, sprout branches, leaves, roots. She can even, given some time, transform her body into that of an eight foot tall tree. Somewhat more durable than regular trees.
-Lizard Form. The shifting that Kasayee has yet to master. As she's already lizard-like it's also the faster of the transformations. Similar to tree form, she can morph parts of her body to be even more lizard-like. She can fully transform into a small lizard and when she does she can run across water.
-Bird Form. Kasayee turns into a beautiful bird which grants her the ability to fly.
-True Lizard Form. Kasayee is trying to learn how to take on her True/Primal form. Which is that of a giant lizard with great strength and endurance.
Kasayee is attempting to master other forms of shapeshifting as well.
Commune With Spirits: Is semi-connected to the Spirit World, and can go into a trance-like state to ask questions of ancient and long dead people. However the answers are often vague and hard to understand, as she’s still young.
Animal-Tongue: Can speak with most animals. They do not talk as a human would, but she can understand their intentions and feelings, and they hers.

Literally Venomous: Kasayee's nails and teeth can secrete a mild, numbing, poison. Not very strong, but enough of it can slow down and hinder a foe.

She has higher than average reflexes and flexibility, and usually fights hand to hand. Or hand to claw, as her most common form of attack is to shift her hands into that of a lizards to tear flesh.

[spoiler=Misc][spoiler=Theme, The World]

[spoiler=Theme, The Girl]

-Is an Omnivore but mostly eats insects and fruit.
-Would be perfectly okay eating a human if not for the fact that she'd get punished.
-Doesn't really put much stock in race, gender, or other such things.

-Isn't coldblooded however she does get more lethargic and slow in the cold.

-Only wears clothing when asked to. Doesn't see a need for them, as she doesn't equate nudity with sexuality.

Race: Insectoid(Bee)
Sex: Male

[spoiler=Appearance:]

GlX3bJq.jpg

Height: 137.16 cm

Weight: 38.5 kg

[spoiler=Personality:]

Leo has always been a busy bee, always putting maximum effort into anything he does.  He loves completing tasks efficiently, swiftly, and preferably, in groups.  For an Insectoid, Leo is quite adventurous and outgoing.  However, he becomes frightened quite easily, and is prone to fainting if he is scared beyond his wits.  Speaking of wits, Leo is quite the little problem solver as well.  He's no grand strategist, but he can solve minor problems rather easily.

As with all insectoids of his type, Leo has a very obvious obsession with all of the worlds flora.  During quests, one can usually find Leo inspecting every little plant along the route and seeing if they have been pollinated as of recent.

Even though some inhabitants of Arbolia distain, and are even afraid of, the insectoid people, Leo tries his best to slash down any misconceptions about his race.  However, some people are just afraid of their looks, and Leo doesn't do well with holding himself back.  Sometimes, quite hilariously, he makes other people faint with his strange appearance.  Lleo can be caught buzzing joyful tunes from time to time, especially when he is alone.  However, he only buzzes when alone and never does it in front of people.

[spoiler=Biography:]

Raised in a rather large hive close to the city of Prunus, Leo was the pinnacle of the worker bee code!  In school, the smaller worker bees were taught a simple form of Fauna Magic to help the flower fields in the area grow and become more fruitful to their endeavors.  However, Leos potential in the Fauna Magics were a cut above the rest, and he could create various types of flowers and plants besides the norm that could be seen in the fields.  Usually, that type of magic could only be learned by the queen of the hive, which made Leo a very valuable asset.

Although Leo felt that he was doing the best he could do for his hive, he believed that he was destined for more than just flower farming in this world.  He had big dreams of helping the whole world, and searching for all new types of plants!  If he could do that, maybe he could help better the image of the insectoid people, and maybe even get the hive out of the rut of being predestined to be flower farmers.  With his queen's grace, he was able to leave the hive in search of his dreams of grandeur at the age of 15.  Once in the city of Prunus, he received a multitude of strange looks.  As soon as he stepped into the city guild, CherryHeart, he was met with happy faces and excited expressions.  He knew that a guild would be his best hope of exploring the world, and helping it's inhabitants, so he quickly joined.

            Honey Dew Bomb: Mixing his own magic pollen, and some magically infused saliva, Leo spits out a rather large drop of sticky honey.

Flight: Scientists are still baffled that the wings of the bee insectoid people are able to carry their large bodies through the air.

Retractable Stinger: Leo's stinger is able to generate slight electric magic and can be retracted into his thorax.  This ability is natural among the insectoid bee people.

-Favorite flower is a pink lotus

English Voice Actress: Brina Palencia

[spoiler=The Man, the Myth]

Name: Myth Fujita
Age: 26

Race: Human
Sex: Male

[spoiler=Appearance:]

tJcotPB.jpg

Height: 176.7 cm

Weight: 102 kg

[spoiler=Personality:]

A little bullheaded, Myth is the kind of guy who lets his fists do the talking.  Of course, he never lets his talking buddy get a word in if that's the case.  Myth is also a man of very few words, if he even speaks at all.  Legend has it that those who have heard his words of wisdom, still cherish them to this day.  However, that is just an exaggeration, and Myth often talks, but when he does, it's not much.  However, people get the gist of what he's trying to say.

Myth is the protector type, opting to defend those who couldn't defend themselves.  He would rather sacrifice everything if that meant saving another persons life.  However, if he survives anything that comes his way while he's protecting something precious to him, he has no problem with not having mercy on whoever it was that was about to snuff out the light of something living and breathing.  He'd do anything in his power to make sure a person like that would never be able to lift a finger against another person again.

[spoiler=Biography:]

Myth's beginning isn't a happy one at all.  Right after he was born, he was sold to a Dark Guild, called Onyx Scorpio, to repay a debt that his parents owed the guild.  Myth wasn't given a name growing up, and was treated much so like a slave.  He did all the knitty-gritty work that the other members thought themselves above doing.  If he ever tried to talk back to a guild member, he was abruptly beaten to within an inch of his life, even if he was trying to do a simple greeting  However, one of the higher ups in the guild, a female Wind Mage named Twister, took pity on the boy as he grew.  When he was around the age of eight,  Twister began teaching the boy how to read and write, and over time, he taught the boy his Wind Magic as well.  However, the two did this in secret.  Twister often sneaked out books from the guild library for him to read.  His favorite was "The Myth of the Man who Blew Up the Mountain".  Twister named the boy Myth after he had expressed his joy reading it.

When the rest of Onyx Scorpio figured out what was going on between the two, Twister tried to defend the boy, and renouncing her loyalty to the guild.  In that moment, she also declared that she was adopting Myth and taking him far away.  She was shot down on the spot by the guild leader, Eury, and was left unconscious.  The sight made Myth lose all control, and the bottled up rage that had welled within him had unleashed itself, and fully decimated the guild hall.  The last thing he remembered, Twister was carrying him away from the rubble that was Onyx Scorpio.  Twister said that as soon as she came too, the bodies of her former guildmates scattered the hall, but she wasn't sure who was alive and who wasn't.

Eventually, the two made it to Prunus and to Cherry Heart, where Twister collapsed and succumbed to her injuries.

[spoiler=Abilities:]

Wind Magic

         Wind Wall: Myth creates a giant vortex of air around Myth so dense that most attacks are reflected instantly.

         Wind Force: Myth claps his hands together and creates a giant vortex of high pressure air to be sent towards a target.

         Storm Slicer: Blades of sharp high pressure air are shot forth from a magic circle created by Myth.

Crash: A very advanced form of magic that Myth has barely any control over, and one that he only can use in dire circumstances, under extreme amounts of stress, if it even goes off at all.  It gives the user the ability to smash everything he comes into contact with.  If he is unfocused while using it, they might destroy things unintentionally.

Hand to Hand Combat Expert: Although he can utilize his wind magic as ranged attacks, Myth loves to be up close and personal against his opponents.  His fighting style is an all out Muay Thai, and uses his elbows and knees to deal heavy damage.

Enhanced Strength: Even without the use of his Crash Magic, Myth can easily punch craters into walls.  He has been seen lifting boulders that are at least twice his size, with only sweating a tiny bit.

Enhanced Durability: Myth, being abused as a child, has hardened his body to take quite the hefty amount of physical punishment.

[spoiler=Misc]

-His favorite food is cheesecake

-Loves to read

Theme: Heart of a Legend

I asked what the limits were. What is this IFNH thing anyway?

Any sort of creature is fine.

I'm debating whether or not to do something totally crazy like a blob or smoke elemental, or something else without a fixed shape/appearance just for the lulz

[spoiler=Well, that was adequate. I can do better, though.]

"I'm the strongest!"

Personal Info

Name: Lisei Chang
Age: 15
Sex: Female

[spoiler=Appearance]

[spoiler=Hueg Imaeg]

IuzkXgF.jpg

Height: 150 cm

Weight: 43 kg

[spoiler=Personality]

"You tried your best, but you went up against me, so the result was obvious. Keheheheh!"

Loud, brash and always full of hot-blooded energy, Lisei fits the red oni archetype to a tee. Always one to be on the forefront of whatever situation, Lisei enjoys charging head-first into any challenge or obstacle before her with a confident smirk and, often, her trademark cackle. Naturally, she's not exactly the brightest tool in the shed. Not one to overthink things, her "Do, then think" way of life has landed her in her fair share of trouble. Not that it ever really bothered her though. In fact, getting into difficult situations and fights where she seems to be way out of the league is what she enjoys best. A blood knight through and through, Lisei enjoys a good fight like nothing else.

Her worrying appetite for brawls despite her young age seems to stem from her ability to use Shockwave magic. Believing herself to be the strongest witch in the world, unparalleled in power, wits, intellect, beauty and, well, every other attribute you can think of. Simply put, she's a total narcissist who thinks rather too highly of herself. Not that she's ever had any reason to think otherwise though. All throughout her (really rather short at this point) life, she's successfully overcame all opponents she had the opportunity to face. ...Or so she says. Some of those victories were probably rematches. In case you haven't figured it out, she's somewhat of an idiot. Exactly the type of person who'd show up at a bar of tough dudes and loudly proclaim that she's looking for a fight, or the type who'd fall asleep 9 minutes into math class.

Outside of battles, her day-to-day personality is relatively the same. Annoying and loud, she's somewhat of a headache to keep around. It wouldn't be a far cry to say that Lisei acts 3 to 5 years younger than her age. Behaving just as an elementary schooler would in a lot of situations, she has a naive outlook on life, doesn't know what to say at a given situation, and is prone to accidentally hurting someone's feelings by not having a filter on her words. Interestingly, she seems to be really calmed down when given some rock candy to chew on, probably because she's got a real sweet tooth. That all said, if one does manage to befriend her, then they can rest assured knowing that Lisei will fiercely protect them from any harm.

[spoiler=Biography]

"Hm? My past? W-well, the past is in the past! And someone as strong as me has no reason to remember bygones!"

Not much can be said about Lisei's past. Along the way she found himself joining a small guild comprised of a band of mercenaries who share a strong sibling-like bond with each other. Lisei left her group some two years ago in the quest for more battles that get the blood pumping, and eventually found herself in the doorsteps of Cherry Heart.

[spoiler=Abilities]

Lisei is a brawler, through and through. A brutal and somewhat unpredictable heroine in battles, she relies on her Shockwave magic to cause massive damage to her opponent, while at the same time also using it defensively to keep projectiles and cancel out pressure dealt out to her. Since her fighting style is mostly improvised and relies on no specific technique, her movements are hard to predict, but easy to counter if she's not given any room to fight back.

Shockwave Magic

A peculiar form of combat magic that gives Lisei the ability to create shockwaves in whatever surface her attacks connect with. When she hits an ordinary human, the resulting force is usually enough to send them hurtling across the room. The shockwaves also produce interesting effects depending on what it hits, but most interestingly, Lisei has the ability to produce cracks in the sky merely by punching the air around her really hard. The resulting force from said punch usually launches a powerful gust of wind that is usually used as a warning shot, but can also be used defensively as a well-timed punch can block out small projectiles. As of the start of the RP, Lisei has only mastered this ability enough to imbue her fists and kicks with the magic, but, there is the potential for her to apply the magic to other parts of her body. Lisei herself affectionately names his moves that uses the Shockwave magic as "Big Bang Knuckle."

Big Bang Knuckle Gun

Lisei gathers magic force in one of her hands before punching the sky around him, causing the space in front of her to shatter and a powerful gust of air exploding in a 25 meter area in front of his punch. Getting directly hit by this air is the equivalent of getting hit by Lisei's bare punch; but without any of the potential organ damage. Still massively painful, though.

Big Bang Knuckle Shotgun

"Ugh, damn!! You must be super strong if you can force me to use my super ultimate strongest trump card... Take this, ya idiot! The Strongest's Big Bang Knuckle Shotgun!!"

As of the moment, this is Lisei's strongest finishing move. After gathering a large amount of magic energy and wrapping it around her fist, causing it to glow white. She would then punch straight in front of her, producing a large shockwave similar to BBKG, but with a much more dramatic effect. Getting hit square in the face with Lisei's Shotgun can and has broken organs in the past. An object hit with the Shotgun directly has the image of a 2-dimensional skull made of magic energy appearing behind them

----

Enhanced Speed

Lisei uses a form of buffing magic that allows her to travel at superhuman speeds for a short time and distance. Doing so causes massive strain to herlegs so he prefers not to spam it, instead only using it to close in on faraway enemies. Even then, his effective range is only 25 meters. Combined with her shockwave magic, she can use the Big Bang Buster Kick, where she uses the power of momentum to deliver a bone-shattering roundhouse kick. Interestingly, it's not too effective against smaller, human-sized opponents, due to how easily it's dodged. Against larger enemies though....

[spoiler=Gush, the Slime Girl]

7JRRD82.jpg?2
When my heart melts, my body follows.”

Personal Information

Name: Samantha Green
Alias: Gush
Age: 99
Sex: Female in original form.
Race: Slime

[spoiler=Appearance]

In her original form, she stands at 5’ 6” with a body mass of 65 kg. Her body shows many colors depending on the time of day, the weather, or her mood.

[spoiler=Personality]
- Shy and introverted as a result of living in solitude most of her life.
- Grievous at certain times of the day when she remembers the death of her father and her village.
- Generally stubborn and dense with certain information.
- Instinctively attacks whoever makes a move on her, sometimes even submerging their heads within her body until they beg for mercy.
- Afraid of soft surfaces unless she is wearing non-porous boots and/or clothing.
- As a doctor, her first instinct when seeing someone injured or sick is to treat or stabilize them.
- Has a habit of gathering whatever herbs or minerals she finds appealing or useful.

[spoiler=Biography]
Samantha was born on an island that specialized in remedies in gelatin form. When she was little, her father was the doctor of the village she grew up in, and her mother was the botanist that knew what herbs to use for certain symptoms. Growing up being homeschooled in the profession of medicine, her knowledge eventually followed through with her being an assistant doctor alongside her father, and her reputation was well known throughout the area. In time, she took over her father’s role when he grew ill. In an effort to cure him, she set out to find the one rare ingredient that she needed, only to have a strange result of alchemy enter her bloodstream and mutate her DNA into that of slime.

After keeping her distance from the village for a long time, she eventually returned, only to see the entire population fell ill and died from an island-wide epidemic. In her grief, she fled the island through the ocean floor, as she had discovered she no longer needed to breathe. After making it ashore onto the mainland, she remained hidden from mankind knowing what she was, living a life in solitude in the wild until she could find someone just as strange as her.

[spoiler=Abilities]

Gelatinous Body Morphing: Gush has the ability to morph her body into any shape so long as said shape is equal to her original body mass. Her body mass has the ability to increase with the right mixture of ingredients, but her original form will appear larger and stranger as a result.

Passive Traits:

  • Weak Acid: Gush's body consists of a slow-acting acid which slowly digests whatever is inside her or makes extended bodily contact with her properties.
  • Natural Adhesive: If parts of her body are used as projectiles, her properties become a sticky plasma that can stick objects or enemies to any solid surface. Dismembered parts of her body reduce her body mass until said properties are returned to her original form.
  • Water Resistance: Immune to drowning as well as unaffected by the contents of water and water-based spells.
  • Remedial Ingredient: Her own body can be used as an ingredient in most medical remedies, her specialty being gel-based products for external injuries.

Signature Attacks:

  • Water Whip: Arms stretch out in the form of whips that deal sharp lashes backed with enough water pressure to draw blood.
  • Epoxy Gun: Shoots a projectile of herself that sticks enemies to any solid surface.
  • Melt: Becomes a puddle that can slither along the ground and slip past enemies and/or obstacles.
  • Plasma Prison: Within a limited diameter, Gush can melt, spread out, and divide her contents to wrap a group of foes in coils of plasma and render them limited to escape.

Weaknesses:

  • Absorption: Gush is prone to materials that absorb liquids on contact. An object that absorbs her contents reduces her body mass and extraction is required to release it. A certain combination of ingredients can increase resistance.
  • Electricity: Liquid contents are exceptionally conductive. Even a simple static shock can weaken her substantially as well as endanger her party. A certain combination of ingredients can increase resistance.
  • Cold: Is more prone to being slowed or immobilized by cold temperatures and cold-based spells. A certain combination of ingredients can increase resistance.

The Mysterious Android

Given Name: Angel

Height/Weight: 5'8" 330 lbs.

Age: Unknown

Personality: Unpredictable because of her aged software, could be nice and caring, aggressive and crazy the next. Fortunetly she shows no signs of actually dealing harm to her guild mates. She has love for cute, adorable things and would hug anything she finds cute, even if what she hugs hurts her in the process. Because of her protective nature she would rather see her self be dismantled than see her guildmates suffer.

Whenever she is having an occasional glitch she shows it when her head starts twitching. When she starts glitching she always tries to hide it by saying she has allergies( even though she doesn't get human sicknesses). When she can feel herself starting to go off the deep end, she tries to separate herself from others so none of her systems bug out and cause harm to others. Fortunetly, her glitches don't happen that often.

Bio: In an underground cavern, an members of an explorers guild discovered an ancient ruin containing ancient technology they have never seen before. At the heart of the ruins the explorers found what seemed to be a broken down lab and at its center, a single working, large capsule. Inside is what appeared to be a young woman with strange devices attached to her. The explorers, curious of the capsule, opened it up. The explorers, as the woman began to open her eyes, had their weapons ready for anything.

The woman simply looked at the explorers with a confused look and only uttered the words "where am I?" The explorers, letting out sighs of relief, helped the woman out of her capsule and brought her back to their camp along with any other spoils they could carry. Curious about the woman, they questioned her on how she ended up in the ruins. She simplied said, "I don't know" and so the explorers were left without an answer.

In the days that followed the explorers came to know the mysterious woman as a friend. Her unpredictable nature brought laughs to the camp and her helpful and kind demeanor won over the explorers. Eventually, the explorers named her Angel as a testimony to her deeds in the camp, including helping the explorers with tasks and caring for any wounds they might of taken during these tasks. When the time came to say their farewells, the explorers pointed the woman towards an ancient guild that had been sparked anew. "Cherry Heart is an ancient guild, I'm sure that you could find answers about yourself if you joined them," said the leader of the explorers.

As she said goodbye to the explorers, Angel ventured off in search of the hopes of finding answers to her past.

Abilities: Wrist Blasters- guns fold out from her wrists, mostly used as repulsers but can be overcharged to deal damage

Fold Out Wings- metallic wings fold from her back, small propulsion engines allow for swift flight

Super Strength- nanofiber materials pack immense strength into her limbs

Nano Eyes- Can scan her targets to figure out the best strategy in battle, scan can also bring up info on the target( info is mainly Angel's own opinion)

"I have only ever done what I was born to do."

Name: Calypso Desae

Age: 25

Sex: Female

Race: Siren

[spoiler=Appearance]

07RQoDC.png

Full image

HT: 5'7"   WT: 110 lbs (light because of hollow bones)

[spoiler=Personality]

Calypso is what one would call "unspoiled." She has no concept of morality, of good and evil, of hate. To her, the world is filled with people who do what they must do. Perhaps the best term for her nature is what Adam and Eve were like before they ate of the forbidden fruit. She understands sex from an outsider view, but as she is a species who were created, and not begotten, she has no concept of it relating to herself, and indeed lacks sexual organs. She wears clothes only because she was told to.

Being immortal, she does not require sustenance, though she can still eat, and prefers human flesh. She also likes flowers, birds, deer, etc. Anything associated with springtime, basically, which is partially because of her species, and partially personal preference. She is deathly afraid of the cold, and hates winter. She is also a bit vain, though it is less directed toward herself and more sirens in general. She realizes sirens are born beautiful to reflect the goddess they were meant to serve.

[spoiler=Biography]

It is said that long ago, the sirens were created to accompany the goddess of springtime, and were later granted birdlike forms complete with wings to search for her when she was kidnapped. However, their feathers were taken and their voices cursed when they failed to find her. Thus every siren afterward was created for a certain purpose, and if they were to fail their purpose, the same fate would befall them.

[spoiler=The Zombie Prince]

Personal Information

Name: Solomon de Yones

Alias: The Rotting Lance

Age: Died around age 50, but decomposition makes physical age difficult. Actual age is closer to 700.

Sex: Male

Race: Zombie (Formerly Human)

Appearance

[spoiler=Appearance]

Standing at 6 2' in his rotting boots, Solomon cuts an imposing figure. His eyes are blank and colorless, with no iris or pupil. His head is bald, though he has a tightly trimmed bone-white goatee. His skin is a pale blue/green He is heavily muscled from his life fighting in full armour, and wears old-fashioned leather-and-iron armour. His weapon of choice is his trusty spear and shield, which is emblazoned with the symbol of his House, de Yones. He rarely smiles, as his teeth are completly rotten, nor does he remove his armour for similar reasons.

Biography

[spoiler=Biography]

Solomon was born nearly seven centuries ago, as the youngest of the eight sons of a powerful king. His father was the a seventh son in his own right, the brother Solomon was closest to in age was the seventh son of a seventh son, granting him terrifying magical abilities, which no one could control. These frightful powers scared the eldest siblings, who arranged for Solomon's brother to be killed. Solomon was the only witness to the deed, but never told anyone as he wished to avoid bringing chaos to the kingdom. Instead, he swore himself off politics and began to train himself as a knight.

The years passed and Solomon went from strength to strength withing the military ranks, as his able spear hand and ability to keep cool in the heat of battle served him well. His siblings squabbled over the throne after the passing of their father, but Solomon took no heed, working to protect the kingdom for invaders. However, their came an enemy Solomon couldn't defeat...

This mysterious enemy, with massive magical powers arrived without warning, commanding legions of mercenaries to fight for him. Solomon and his army held the off for as long as he could, but the rivalries and divisions within the royal court forced him to split his army, leading to his defeat. The enemy slaughtered all people of the land without mercy, but saved the greatest crime for the remaining members of the royal family: transforming them into his personal undead honour guard.

The last recollection of his living times Solomon has is being ambushed during a siege by the enemy himself. He remembers nothing of working for him, which haunts him as he has no idea what evils he did unto the world. He briefly remembers being sealed into a locket by a group of magi, before being released under mysterious circumstances in the modern world.

He wishes to join the guild in order find out more about who the enemy was, what happened to him and if any of his kingdom or royal lineage survived.

Personality

[spoiler=Personality]

Solomon is not the kind of person who gets on with people well. In life, he held others to high standards, morally and physically, and those who fail to meet his high standards are often looked down on by him. He also despises anyone who condones underhand tactics like assassination and torture, after his brother's own assassination. His current status makes it even harder for Solomon to bond with people, as he believed no one can genuinely like him in a zombiefied state, due to his appearance, the fact he may be still under the enemy's control and the fact he feels he personally failed his kingdom's subjects.

That said, Solomon does have a soft spot for younger adventurers, especially magic users as they remind of his brother. He is more than willing to put himself on the line for them, or others he deems worthy.

While Solomon has professional training, and he has no reason to be unloyal to his guild, if he believes he has discovered a lead about his past or family, he will ignore whatever mission he is currently on to pursue it.

Abilities

[spoiler=Passive Abilities]

Spearmaster: Solomon is a master of the spear, having trained with it for most of his living life, and wielded it with deadly effect since his death. He is more than comfortable using it on the ground or on horseback, alone or as part of a formation.

Military Training: Solomon spent his life commanding people and studying tactics, as well as working in the army. This makes him comfortable in battle situations.

Undead: As a member of the living dead, Solomon gets all the good parts: immunity to life draining spells, capable of ignoring pretty much any non lethal wound, and being able to intimidate people very easily

Son of a Seventh Son: Although Solomon hasn't trained in magic, he is the son of a Seventh Son, giving him a natural affinity for it. This is heightened by his undead status, which reverses the purpose of any spell he attempts, e.g. a healing spell stops a cut healing, an illumination spell puts out a light source, etc.

Vanguard: The one benefit of serving as the head of an undead vanguard for a dark mage is that you get pimped out in the best magical armour. Solomon's armour is a durable as plate, despite appearance and his shield is even tougher. Wounds from his weapon will heal slower, even for those with increased natural healing.

[spoiler=Active Abilities]

Infect: From his time on the battlefield, Solomon learnt a simple, but effective, healing spell. Now, this healing spell has been transformed into a curse that slows down all healing in a target, and hurries infection.

Repulse: Another simple spell turned deadly, this spell was originally for bringing his arms back to hand if he lost them in battle. Now, it can pushes stuff back a couple a feet; but only non-magic resistance items, and fairly light items at that.

Tomb's Gaze: A special ability used by Solomon in order to quell panic in a soldier, or lull an enemy into a sense of security now becomes a basilk-like stare on those who are injured or weak minded, filling them with terror.

Nothing Awaits You: In life, Solomon would use this burst of positive energy to invigorate tired troops and bring courage to the fore, now it spreads and lethargy like wild fire. While it has a wide range, it also effects allies and leaves Solomon near motionless for over a minute as his mind deals with the remains of all that negative thinking

[spoiler: CardGames on Magic]

Name: Henry Whitley

Gender: Male

Age: 20

Appearance: Henry stands a normal 5’8” with dark brown skin and deep black eyes. His skin is still quiet smooth though he is going through that manly stage of his life so he getting some stubble. His hair, while normally cut; can grow out to be an enormously curly afro that he is often required to wear for disco themed parties. He has a pretty slim build but nothing alarming just normal. His clothing usually consist of a black jack dealers uniform: black slacks, white button up shirt, a scarlet tie and vest, and for his own little flair he like to occasionally put on what he defines as classy hats.  His shoes vary from sneakers to the utmost classy wing-tip dress shoes, mainly due to the duality of his family’s lifestyle and his own occupation growing up.

Personality: If you ever needed cheering up or someone to help you put a smile on your face you can always count on Henry Whitley. The young lad always has a song in his heart and will always see the bright side of things. There is no need for negativity in this world because how could you be negative when the sun shines so brightly, the sky is always so blue, and grass is always so green. He tries to solve the world’s problems through song (though he can’t sing), he bears no ill-will to those who have wronged him ever because life is too short to have grudges.

In combat he isn’t much different though his magic is uncharacteristically fatal he doesn’t try to kill often.  When his life is on the line he goes for the quickest and most instantaneous moves to finish a person off. No need to make someone suffer because that would be rude. He has never really been in one of these life threatening situations before.

[spoiler: Biography:] Henry was born to the Whitley family which could best be described as the new age socialites. They weren’t famous due to media interactions it was just that their names were legendary through word of mouth. Everyone who was anyone wanted to be invited to Whitley party and of course most people were. To the Whitley family that is what life was one big party. The family wasn’t wealthy by any means so it was up to everyone to help out. Henry’s aunt and uncle on his fathers sided were experienced chefs and they catered the event, his parents acted as host most of the time, the litany of cousins he had and himself often acted as waiters or played particular rolls if the party had a certain theme. The Whitley family was one big cluster of love.

Growing up Henry’s parents tried to instill within him the arts and the pleasantries of life and while he lived through his fair share of hardships he was always raised to take it in stride and celebrate life. As it was time for him to set out on his own journey and become his own man his parents stayed back and in their town and continued to have their fabulous parties. At the age of 18 he was had worked in a Casino as a card dealer for various games and it was a fulfilling job. You get money, you get to meet lots of people, and the living conditions were pretty awesome. The only problem was that thanks to his carefree live-life attitude he never learned the true value of money which then led to quite a bad gambling habit. He was naturally good at all card games but he was pretty bad at…well all non-card games such as Roulette or betting on sporting events.  And like most people with bad gambling habits he incurred massive gambling debts, so much so that his overall knack to be too good at card games could not compensate for it. Henry inevitably realized the quagmire of despair he was getting in financially so he left his casino where he worked to find another way to make money and pay off his debts.

Henry then decided to call upon his magical skills and figured that mages are able to get a lot of money with their missions. So he went to Arbolia where it is said that there were a lot of great mage guilds to be a part of. It is even said that the great guild of Cherry Heart is located there. Hopefully, as a member of this guild he will be able to earn some form of income that will allow him to pay back his debts.

[spoiler: Abilities:]

Magic: Card Control

Henry's weapons of choice are razor-sharp playing cards. The cards are inherently magical in nature as they can cut through nearly any thing (including flesh, stone, and a bullet) and explode. While it is typical for Henry to call forth a seemingly infinite supply of playing cards from the typical magical array. Henry typically likes to flick them from his wrist as that is more stylish meaning cards can only come out one at a time.

  • Telekinetic Card Control: Henry is able to control his cards with his mind, allowing them to freely fly around his body or change trajectory mid-flight to hit a moving target.
  • Card Double: Due to a combination of his ability to control the back image of his cards and the telekinetic control over said cards Henry is able to make card doubles of himself or anyone else. However these doubles do not possess any strength but are simply meant to take hits.
  • Card Shield: Henry can deflect attacks by rapidly spinning his cards in a circle around his body. He can use this to protect himself from gunfire and lower level magics.

In summation (this basically)

Weapons: Though he has a small frame and wears short sleeves Henry always carries 10 decks of playing cards on his person. His magic allows him to call from an infinite pool of playing cards from some alternate dimension, the decks on hand are for more conventional purposes and in the unfortunate chance that some magic cuts him off from his card teleporting magic.

Other:  Seeing as he has never had much combat experience Henry tends to “dance fight” instead of actual fighting. It’s a very graceful form of combat but visually it’s a combination of Mr. 2 from One Piece, West Side Story, Fred Astaire, and the tap dancing Nicholas brothers.

·      Even without magic Henry is actually quite adept/deadly with a deck of cards he does know how to perform card tricks such as throwing a card to where it could cut a stalk of celery. Or do fancy deck shuffles and the like.

[spoiler=Heaven's Hole]

__.png

"I'm the Heaven's Hole for a reason, y'know?"

Personal Information

"Maybe I'm not as smart, as beautiful, or as great as her, but..."

Name: Angela Celeste Silkans
Age: 17
Sex: Female

Race: Human

[spoiler=Appearance]

yMiq454.png?2

153 centimeters, 41 kilograms. Can be mistaken as a young boy, especially with her actions and way of talking and body frame.

[spoiler=Personality]

Bratty, self-centered, messy, irresponsible, and hedonic to a degree, but she usually means well. Angela is definitely not the type to easily give up on things she pursue and will not stop for anything after she set her goal, though most of the time she’ll just focus on looking for things that she would find as fun or interesting. She's a cheerful, optimistic person that usually thinks the best in regards to other people, though this can actually border on naivety due to her usually not minding others' obvious flaws much unless it directly annoyed her. Definitely pretty much a tomboy, except when she's dealing with men, then she's willing and able to act really feminine to get what she wants.

Despite being the future heir to her father's merchant company, she completely sucks at mathematics, and generally could be classified as book dumb. She disliked reading anything outside of story books, and since she has little knowledge on how the world as a whole works, she had some interesting views on that topic. Although, during her short time on her reckless traveling, she had little difficulty in adjusting herself to her new environment, signifying a good ability to adapt, and good field knowledge.

She mentioned that she had little interest in inheriting her father's company and prefers her new life as an adventurer, but that reasoning's mainly just a ruse. In actuality, she has a very big desire to be the one to head the company, but she was pretty much quite self-aware on her lack of ability to be a good heir. She pretends to hate the responsibility that comes with it, and always tried to convince her father to give the responsibility to her older sister instead as a way so she could get over it. With her sister's sudden disappearance though, she knew that sooner or later she would have to take the responsibility of it just like she actually wished, but her self-esteem kept on preventing her to return home, continuing her aimless search for her missing sister.

She is really frustrated at her inability to learn the necessary knowledge to be a merchant so far, but as this manifested into pessimism (a trait that didn't actually fit her, but she ended up possessing with how low her self-esteem had become thanks to her constant failures), she rarely bothered to find a way to fix it. She believed that it'd be useless. She's prone to insulting herself, at times as a form of humble self-deprecation, but at times, it manifested as purely spiteful and demeaning words, reflecting her true belief about herself. Most of the time though, she just find a way to distract herself from those thoughts. Whether by traveling, treasure hunting, taking quests, taking "quests", cooking, writing, reading stories, anything goes for her.

[spoiler=Biography]

Born in the coastal city of Agria, ever since she was little Angela had always loved playing outside. Usually going around the city and the coastal area on her own, she often worried her parents on how often she came home really late, often being bruised all over. Despite of that, they did let her do her thing due to her being very insisting on keeping on doing what she did.

Her father was the owner and head of a merchants' guild/company that specializes in trading ancient relics, and Angela was naturally quite interested in the business. In fact, as she often watched her parents at work, she had the desire to one day be in the same seat as them. However, that was quite a distant dream. Eventhough her oldest brother chose to serve in the military, and her older sister didn't have any interests in continuing the business, Angela soon realized that she barely had the capability to handle a business, and as she tried to learn about the trick of the trade, she bitterly realized that she's really not cut for the job.

To try getting over that fact (and to save the company from falling into a stranger's hand), she tried her best to convince her sister to take the reins in her place, but her sister didn't budge. While she's originally quite distant from her siblings, at this point Angela started to project the traits she lacked onto her sister, ended up even somewhat worshiping her despite her not even being sure that her sister had these traits Angela attributed towards her. But despite her best efforts, her sister still chose not to take Angela's responsibility from her. She was confident enough that her planned marriage to a noble would do her and her family more good.

One day however, Angela's sister just...disappeared. Whether she ran away, kidnapped, or something else entirely was unclear. She left behind a distraught Angela that was faced with the inevitability of facing her shortcomings sooner or later. Trying her best to stop herself from thinking about it too much however, Angela chose to ask her father whether she could travel around as a treasure hunter to help with the family's business. Her father, who was aware of the real reason why Angela would leave, let her go with a heavy heart. With that permission from her old man, she left her city and decided to join with the legendary guild once the news of its revival got to her.

[spoiler=Abilities]
  • She fights mainly using a spear. It was uniquely built, enabling her small frame to wield it well while retaining most of its effectiveness. She's very light on her feet, and due to it she is capable of striking her opponents many times before they would get a chance to attack her.
  • For close combat, she utilizes a decorated sword to battle. It's quite light and looks pretty, but is not that special outside of that. It's a treasure she looted before joining with the guild. She could also fight unarmed, but without much knowledge of martial arts, without Refraction she couldn't really pose a threat to her enemies with it.
  • Wind Magic: Her mainly used type of magic. She is quite adept at utilizing it for many different things, although the extent of her usage on it is pretty limited as of now.
    • Invisible Air: Utilizing several layers of highly compressed wind sheath to cover her weapons, these bounded layers refracts light and renders the object inside of it to be invisible. Well, not fully invisible, but at the very least Angela can manage to have the layers obscure the weapons' dimensions enough. This sheath of wind can be extended very temporarily to give the illusion that her weapon's bigger than it actually is, giving her an advantage during combat.
    • Strike Air [Hammer of the Wind King]: The compressed, high pressure air can also be used as a hard-hitting projectile. Angela's range with it was only twice the range of her spear, and she had no capability of spamming it, so she mainly used it as a way to knock her opponent off balance or hit a vitals so she could finish them with her actual weapons. She can also use this to give her a temporary boost in speed, by firing it backwards.
  • Multi-dimensional Refraction "Magic": A forbidden, ancient form of magic. Perhaps, it couldn't even be described as "Magic" as what the people of this age knew it. Even Angela herself didn't actually understand the actual implications of this magic, as it was something closer to a natural ability for her, instead of something she learned. While her Wind Magic was something she learned and practiced on her own, this magic is more akin to a natural gift from the day she was born. In a way, it can be said that her presence has the natural habit of creating cracks on space-time itself. These cracks are gaps connecting her world to multitudes of parallel, alternate worlds. However, actual, solid physical objects cannot pass through these gaps. At least for now.
    • Temporal Dislocation: Basically creating lag between an action that she does or that affects herself (tied to space for the former, tied to herself for the latter) for up to five minutes. Cannot delay too much actions at once. The effect of the action after the lag might be slightly different than the original. [spoiler=Details]This sub-ability works by erasing the "effect" from an action completely, then "recreating" that erased effect by the action of a parallel version of the subject in another world within a time limit. After the time limit is passed, then the effect will immediately take effect. This is activated by an invocation. Due to how her magic works, any actions done by her will be tied to "space", the location it is performed, while any actions done towards her will be recreated relative to her physical body. Time limit is 5 minutes as of now. As these are "refraction", the recreated actions will be imperfect: coming from slightly different angles, moved by several centimeters, or coming weaker or stronger than the original. In theory she have no limits on how many actions can she delay, but as delaying her own actions would take her a lot of brainpower to keep track of, she can only effectively store 10 at any time.

    • Parallel World Reactor "Heaven's Hole": Uses her infinite amount of parallel selves as batteries for her spells. Cannot use up too much without tiring herself. Still will tire her out after a powerful spell. [spoiler=Details]The true meaning of her title. While physical matter could not pass through the cracks she innately created, she can access the magical energy from the infinite amount of existing parallel worlds. However, as powerful as this ability is, she cannot effectively utilize it due to her physical body's limitation, not to mention the fact that she's barely aware of this passively-active ability. Storing too much magical energy could potentially blew herself up, and using powerful magic in succession would still tire her physically. Of course, in theory she could still immediately fire as much as she could without storing anything in an instant, but her lack of understanding and the fact that she's not used to handle that amount of energy would pretty much kill her on the spot.

[spoiler=Miscellaneous]
  • Theme Song: All the Way
  • She likes dried pineapple sticks a lot as snacks. Always makes sure to bring at least several packages of it anytime she goes out for a quest.
  • "Heaven's Hole" is a form of title she has as the representative of her father's trading company. It being a metaphor on how the services there have the quality as if they just dropped from heaven itself., hence why the company is said to be that hole in heaven that allowed the world to savor some of its blessings However, it ended up also becoming a derogatory nickname towards her due to rumors of her...favorite pasttime activity.
  • Quite good at cooking.
  • Writes her own diary every night. Considering to release it as a book one day, perhaps with some additions to make it look more enticing.

[spoiler=WIP - Sergeant Swarm]

d3b9nXw.png?1
“You are not even insects. Insects are my soldiers. My family. You are merely pests, and now it’s time I squash YOU!

Personal Information

Name: Benson Dratagast
Alias: Sergeant Swarm
Age:
Sex: Male
Race: Humanoid Insect

[spoiler=Appearance]
Swarm stands at a towering 6’ 7” with a humanoid insect form. His skin consists of exoskeletal material and insectoid body tissue produced by the thousands of insects that make up his body. He wears linen cloth around his waist along with a sash with a fly imprinted on the front. Speckled on his body are various insects that crawl around as if in admiration of Swarm, worshipping him and waiting his command.

While his exoskeletal figure represents his humanoid appearance, in the rare cases that his skin is broken, his true form unfolds into a tentacle-esque spread of organs and intestines sticking out of a set of corroded bones and ribs. His skull, while still in tact as his head, appears broken with several holes with practically no nose or teeth. Once in this form, his eyes have no purpose, so they are usually removed as he is normally blind and only able to navigate through his insect army.

[spoiler=Personality]

[spoiler=Biography]
Benson grew up with a wealthy family and lived the life that every kid would dream of. His spoiled nature got him almost everything he wanted, but his fascination with insects eventually got him to pursue schooling for biology. Uncontent with their son’s newly found interest, they forbade him to go back to school and kept him from playing in the yard, spraying poison around the area to kill any insect that intruded. Frustrated, Benson snuck out through his bedroom window and ran into the woods only to fall into a pit with a yellow jacket’s nest at the bottom.

After what seemed like millions of stings left him limp and unconscious, the venom from the sting unlocked a part of his brain that made him as intelligent as dolphins, unconsciously sending out a signal that summoned every insect in the area to use his carcass as a home. Soon the insects behaved like the cells in his body. His skin was torn away, his muscles wrinkled up and fell out like ash from burned paper, and his bones corroded, for which his new insect sonar instinctively ordered a new skin to guard his vulnerable organs and still-beating heart. As he grew up, his form shedded into bigger and more reminiscing forms of an insect, becoming recognized by every insect in the world as their sergeant.

[spoiler=Abilities]
Insect Sonar: Swarm has the ability to summon insects within several miles and command them to do his every bidding.

Passive Abilities:
  • Sonar Sense: While blind, Swarm has the ability to sense his surroundings with sonar signals sent from his brain, which gives him the advantage of hearing oncoming creatures approaching from several miles away as well as those who try to hide.
  • Flight: A potential ability that can be learned after his insect form develops wings.
  • Sonarmor: Emits an aura of sonar energy amongst his insect army to reinforce them with magic resistance.

Special Attacks:

  • Feast: Emits a swarm that blankets a foe with hungry insects that eat their bodies down to the bone.
  • Swarmor: Summons a swarm to pile onto his body and act as armor to further reinforce his figure. Is usually only necessary when his exterior form is shattered and vulnerable.
  • Sonar Blast: Excels a spherical blast of sonar energy to knock back anything or anyone within a certain radius. With Sonarmor active on his insect army, this move has little effect on them.

[spoiler=Reo-Sen Hyun-Ee - Reo]

mN47FIv.png?1

"Surely, our plan consists of more than your infinite wisdom and that half-bottle spirit. ...right?"

Personal Information

Name: Reo-Sen Hyun-Ee

Nickname: Reo

Age: 19

Sex: Female

Race: Human

[spoiler=Appearance-Image]H9UnV92.png?1

[spoiler=Appearance - Description]Reo is relatively tall at 5' 7'', while not very beautiful, she cares about her charms where she has it. She weighs in at 130 lbs, but that's kind of disrespectful to ask. She takes a great deal of time to ensure she's maintained enough to approach those of high social standing but not so much so that she'd alienate herself when in town. She doesn't have much of an eye for fashion so is either dressed plainly or relegates that advise to someone else is she has to put on the airs.

[spoiler=Personality]Reo is an inquisitive, eccentric girl who’s always on the cutting edge of what’s popular and hip, while keeping up on her studies. Reo tries to keep herself a jack of all trades, as a renaissance woman, she is passionate in the sciences, arts, and music most predominantly. She’s always exploring the deepest secrets, and most exclusive parties in search for the next “big” thing and who’s the biggest baddest cat in the market. Accordingly, she spends most of her mornings and early afternoons wrapped up in books or her works, and late nights out in whatever town, city, or outing she’s placed into considering she’s somewhat of a nomad harboring a secret that motivates her to continuously search for something.

In interpersonal relations, she’s quite fluid and flirty with the exception of when her work has her feeling overwhelmed. She is easily stressed, and can quickly become hostile to people she finds annoying or undesirable when feeling pressured. Reo is a bit romantic, seeking companionship in others that match her personality. I rarity she finds. Her favorite hobbies are drawing, particularly portraits of people she’s fond of and she usually asks those she’s close to to pose for her. She finds the guild a good job and excuse to keep herself mobile socially and physically, and seeks to help the guild so long as they continue to provide her opportunities.

[spoiler=Biography]Reo was born in a small town far from the reach of modern trade and thus the world at large. The town was no innocent hamlet but had for decades been operated and maintained by a cult, of which Reo’s father was the cult leader and a member mother she never met. The cult manufactured and ritualistically used a hallucinogen made from plants in the region, that caused the user to see two moons in the sky and caused feelings of momentary ecstasy. Reo was born as the only child to the cult leader and spared the forced additions given to the members and their children, instead raised as his primary successor separated far and away from the cult’s less appropriate functions for most of her childhood and given an elite education at the cult’s expense. Reo’s father was a master of magic of he coined “Astrological Augmentation”, an ancient but indirect form of magic, that helped him maintained the cult and taught the techniques on to his daughter in private. When Reo was 12, she stumbled upon her father conducted the branding of a member and became terrified at the true nature of her father’s practice. She rebelled at her father, who developed misgivings about his daughter, and began to shun her and force her into isolation. When Reo was 13, her sister born, and she was removed as the successor.

Reo in rage at the criminal acts of his father, and her broken heart at having him replace and forget her, used her magics to destroy the drug processing facilities. Her father took this as the last straw, and branded her a heretic. Reo fled the village on her own, ransacking her father’s quarters in the night for enough to survive for a while. Reo spent the next few months evading emissaries from the village that searched nearby villages but after a while the cult member sightings became less and less frequent. Reo, who had been taught how to speak and manipulate people, found the cities deceptively easy to survive in. She had mixed feelings in understanding that her father’s training was so practical but began live with odd jobs. She is still passionate about expanding her knowledge and found that art, particularly sketching and painting serves to help her contain her emotional outbursts and rage as therapy. She hopes to one day be superior to her father and one day return to deconstruct the monstrosity he created.

[spoiler=Ability]Astrological Augmentation: An ability which aligns the stars to increase the odds of events transpiring. It’s preparatory magic that is very impractical in combat, but allows the user to do things that are highly unlikely when used properly. The exact effects and spells depend on the user, but they can create short-handed versions for spells that are used frequently. For example, in order to burn down her village’s drug processing facility, she used Mars-element destruction augmentation to vastly increase the likely of a candle igniting the wooden building allowing it to happen within a night. Her father used Venus-element persuasion to increase his natural charisma when preaching to his cult. Much like real luck, using the same spell with repeated effects has diminishing returns.

The two insectoid characters we got now are really creative. One is an intelligent but shy, fuzzy bumblebee who may be the cutest thing I've ever seen, and one is a once human, commander of a legion of yellow jackets and wasps with a hate for humans. This RP is going to be awesome.

[spoiler=The Zombie Prince(WIP)]

Personal Information

Name: Solomon de Yones

Alias: The Rotting Lance

Age: Died around age 50, but decomposition makes physical age difficult. Actual age is closer to 700.

Sex: Male

Race: Zombie (Formerly Human)

Appearance

[spoiler=Appearance]

Biography

[spoiler=Biography]

Solomon was born nearly seven centuries ago, as the youngest of the eight sons of a powerful noble.

The last recollection of his living times Solomon has is being ambushed during a siege but the enemy himself.

Abilities

[spoiler=Abilities]

"Age: (Anything is fine here, I guess. I'd rather not have inhumanly old beings yet, except possibly for villains)"

Not to mini-host/mod/whatever it's called. But wanting to point this out.

Hmm...my interest is falling a bit due to the sudden influx of non-humans given that I know how letting too many races in can make things a mess (from a previous experience). But I will be working on my characters today anyway just in case I still feel up for it. And to have them around anyway.

Also I'm still not sure on power level. What's overpowered? What's average? So far the ideas I had seem severely underpowered relative to the others.

For those who aren't in the Skype chat, I'd advise being in it. There's a join link in the OP.

I'm not going to join what I have to assume is a huge clusterfuck Skype chat (many people, will be multiple quests going on) and be forced to look through it all to get answers whenever something comes up.

If it's a requirement tell me now so I don't waste my time, please and thanku
