As one could put it is like fusing with your monsters

_______

Life Force Polymer [spell/Normal]

Lore: (This card's name is always treated as "Polymerization".)

Pay 1000 LP to substitute 1 Fusion Material Monster, but the other Fusion Material Monster(s) must be correct. Then Tribute Fusion Material Monsters on the field; Special Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, but it cannot attack directly. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon.) You can only activate 1 "life Force Polymer" per turn.

Alright, let's see...

Polymerization that only works with materials on the field, but at the cost of 1000 LP you can skip one of the materials.

Can we use this card like a normal Polymerization if we already have the Materials? If the Fusion in question has more generic materials (think several of the recent E-HERO Fusions), can this card skip any of the non-named materials?

This answer would be "Yes." For the card you speak of; "Contrast HERO Chaos", "Elemental HERO Core", "Vison HERO Trinity", "Vison HERO Adoration", and "Elemental HERO Divine Neos", if used to Summon them would just require 1 less material.

Just to note this card is mostly modeled around the Hex-Sealed Fusion monsters without the single Attribute limitation.

I have thought making it that you could use cards in hand, but figured it would be over powered.

While you may want the card to function like that, it currently doesn't. Fusion Substitutes can only substitute for specifically named Material. Currently, no wording supports what you want to do.

Additionally, whether nor not you can just use it as a field-only Poly was ambiguously answered too, since you gave 1 answer for two questions.

I think this wording does essentially what you want it to, albeit with some creation of new wording. Do note that you can't Fusion Summon monsters that require their Fusion be done "with the correct Fusion Materials", but given that's the ruling with Fusion-Substituting too, that seemed like it would likely be fine with you.

Overall, the card looks decent. I'm not sure if it can be abused Fusion Summons will still likely be -1s.
