(side is random cards i thought about putting in or whatever)

i barely ever play matches so i use side for that 90% of the time and this is kinda paper.dek

its probably bad anyway since you want your normals in the deck to fetch out easier only exception is maybe trumpeteer

burg engine is what i wanted to fit in for more shenanigans if extra wasnt 15 and man wasnt 40

unexected dai and doom are actually cards im thinking about and crimsion is a good side because kozmo i think idk im bad

So, with rabbit in side, what do you bring it in against? Keep in mind the side deck is for cards that help you in certain matchups, not cards you couldn't fit into the main deck.

I generally do this too. The cards in my side deck are cards I had considered for the deck but ultimately didn't decide to put it in, not necessarily the side deck I'm actually going to use.

I think this deck definitely benefits from Unexpected Dai, you can cut down some number of Alpha Magnet Warrior/Angel Trumpeter for 3 copies as the card is essentially another copy of those vanillas but a small percentage of the time act as an SS.

-2 Angel Trumpeter

-1 Alpha

The best way to look at this is that with Unexpected Dai you are playing 4 copies of Angel Trumpeter when you need it, but only needing 1 copy of the physical card so you are less likely to "dead draw" it as a normal summon. This goes the same for Alpha (5 copies).

In fact you could play a Tune Warrior over the 2nd copy of Alpha (-1 Alpha #2 +1 Tune Warrior), this would grant you access to Meliae as a level 3 EARTH or Ancient Fairy Dragon to SS another EM Warrior to get its effect (mostly relevant T1)

keep in mind trumpeter and alpha have other ways of being searched (trumpeter has lonefire, alpha has all the elctromagnets aka a fourth of the deck), and you really want 3 alpha so you can 1.) level modulate the electros into 4s if you want off call or whatever and 2.) as fuel for verision to kill things

might swap a trumpeter + a jar of avarice for dai though cause it really is a good card for turbo'ing

i neglected to mention them because they are constants in both iterations, your original deck and the deck I'm proposing (ie 3 extra copies of Trumpeter which does not change with the inclusion of unexpected dai as it neither increases or decreases the chance of seeing lonefire).

The bottom line is out of all the normal summons in your deck, that you are removing 3 NS for 3 Special Summons + the comparative advantage of having 1 extra copy of each card when you need it while keeping the number of cards in your deck constant.

No one is getting rid of the Alpha Magnets, as the EM Warriors are essentially extra copies of ALpha, in this case if you were to draw an EM Warrior then you can simply Unexpected Dai for your other target. The "fuel" aspect of the card is obvious, which is why I'm proposing to cut the 2nd and 3rd copies of Angel Trumpeter for Unexpected Dai before touching Alpha.

May I ask what your reasoning is for running Alpha instead of Beta? I'm assuming its for Bottomless, but hey, I'm just curious

Pretty much. Alpha just dodges more stuff than Beta or Gamma in terms of stats, and objectively, he still survives as much stuff in battle as Beta if you summon him in defense.

Kind of whatever reasoning, but whatever. It's not like it matters much.
