But otherwise, the password change should've worked out fine, and you wouldn't need to make a duplicate. Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted May 25, 2016 Report Share Posted May 25, 2016 He's only making this new account because he made the old one on Twitter (recall that YCM still has a manual registration problem) and since he no longer can access said Twitter (it's been deleted), recovery options don't work. Whether or not the password reset given to him was responsible for him getting locked of his account is unknown (likely not), however the best we can do in this situation at present is just to transfer the points / post count / reps over from his old account to the new one. We do not have the capacity to merge the accounts together, so they can actually edit their old content. ---There is a rule that prohibits multiple accounts unless under extreme circumstances, yes, HOWEVER this falls under "extreme circumstances" (old account is inaccessible for reasons beyond one's control).
